Pros -Speed- I ordered a chicken sandwich meal and it was ready almost before I paid. Cons -Not made to order like most Chick-Fil-As. Seemed to have a bunch of sandwiches "pre-made" - For my sandwich meal came out to $15, which is a bit more expensive than the restaurant, but since in an airport could have been worse. In the lobby of the airport, I got a chocolate shake with fries and a fried chicken sandwich, no pickles, with a side of Polynesian and barbecue sauce. My shake came out immediately, but my chicken sandwich truck an extra 10 minutes to come out. The people in the back did not seem to understand that I wanted a sandwich with no pickles. I absolutely love Chick-fil-A and have never had an issue with any store in my life. This one is located at the Indianapolis Airport just outside of Pre-Check. Everyone that travels through airports knows the importance of fast service. The Indianapolis Airport is not that big compared to many other US airports. When I got in line to place my order I was number four. There was one cashier taking orders and one stocking at the counter. I stood for nearly seven minutes without moving. Finally the manager came out from the kitchen and saw the long line and asked the person who had been stocking to open a register. I received my order within two-three minutes and was on my way to Pre-Check. I ordered the four count chicken minis. The food quality was excellent but the service was not up to Chick-fil-A standards. read more

Not sure why there is always a line here. My curiosity finally got me and I tried the grilled chicken sandwich. Yes it is fast food but it was at its end of life. I'm guessing I should of had the fried version? The service was very nice. I doubt I would come here again some much better options in this food court. read more

Let's get this out of the way: as an airport food place, this does NOT have the full menu. It's very limited, but what they do have is the same as other Chick-fil-As. No digital coupons, no Chick-fil-A One app, no Chick-n-Strips. If I could give 3 1/2 stars I would, but I gave it the extra bump because they seem to be improving from where they used to be. The food is the same stuff you'd expect from Chick-fil-A -- absolutely delicious, every time. Maybe slightly smaller portions than your regular CFA. Where it definitely doesn't feel like Chick-fil-A is the customer service. It's still better than 90% of the airport establishments, but it's not the usual standard I expect from CFA. But like I said, it's getting better - the employees do seem happier to be there, but it's just like any other fast food place and not the over-the-top but sincere friendliness I get from other locations. Oh man. This is the worst Chick-fil-A that I've ever had the displeasure of visiting. And this is after cutting it some slack because it's a Chick-fil-A in an airport food court, which means it's probably not on par with a stand-alone restaurant. The workers there could seriously not give anymore of a care if they tried. I ordered "a number 3 and a number 5," and the guy rang me up for just the entrees and not the meals. Then he got all huffy and said, "You wanted the meals?" And sighed as he deleted the order and re-entered the new one. Yeah, friend, that's why I ordered them by the number, and not by saying, "I'll have a chicken sandwich." Oh, and they were out of fruit and regular lemonade. And they don't have kids meals! Then, I wasn't even done paying and they had my food ready. "Wow, that was quick," I thought, but when I sat down to eat, I could taste why it was so quick: the fries were cold. Then I looked for the milk and cookie I ordered ... and they weren't there. All of this sounds like first-world problems, but it's so disappointing because a) Chick-fil-A is such a good chain normally, and b) it sucks having to deal with this nonsense after a long flight. This was my first time eating here and I can tell you it was the worst chicken sandwich I have ever had! I don't know what's going on at this location but it's not the quality I would expect from chick-fila and I hope someone does a quality check of this restaurant based on this review. We wanted to get a quick bite before going through the TSA check in and decided that Chick-fil-a would be the best option. Their prices made the choice easy as other higher end establishments were offering burgers in the $13-15 dollar range. I had a spicy chicken sandwich and their diet lemonade while my wife had the chick-fil-a sandwich combo with fries that we shared. It tasted as expected, but what wasn't expected is that our order came with one of their chocolate chip cookies which I have to say was warm and chewy and quite good. Bought two sandwiches at 9:30pm-ish at the airport location after my flight. It was slow, very few customers. Took my bag when it was ready, headed out to my car in the parking garage - only to discover that only one sandwich was in the bag. Clearly, I was not walking all the way back in to get the other sandwich. Tried corporate customer service for a refund/coupons/something to cover the $4 I spent on the missing sandwich - 2 days later and no response. Tried again and now they have deflected saying they cannot do anything without reaching the store manager. So store manager, where are you to handle this issue? read more

Had a layover at this airport. Just got fries, so those were good but my low rating is for the staff. Though everyone seemed friendly. Hair was everywhere! And what I mean is the female staff had their hair everywhere sure some of them had it in loose poney tails but they were playing in their hair while waiting for food to put in the bag. Please have those staff wear hair nets or tie their hair up better then that! The staff were also very young so playing around a lot. I guess the guy who may have been the manager on duty was kinda letting them do what the wanted. Definitely very different from what I've seen at other chick filas. read more

Usually Chick-fil-A really impresses me but this location is just awful. I landed from a long trip and a long flight. And when I went us to get some late dinner a blonde young employee was super rude to me and my fiancé. It took her forever to notice us waiting in line and when she did she finished her conversation with her equally as motivated co workers. After a few minutes of waiting, she yelled back to BOH saying "did you guys not even start their food yet?" And continued after that to flirt through the window, loudly, in front of everyone, to a couple of teenage boys who were trying to cook. When we did get the food it was cold and unappealing.
