Our server was very sweet, she made some recommendations on food and drinks. We ordered the empanadas (cheese, beef and chicken), the picada and ordered some lemonades. The meat in the picada was very savory and tender and had potatoes, fried yuca and also sausage it was a perfect dish to share and had a generous amount of everything. The good service and good food made our lunch a very enjoyable experience!!

(2/5) -- Great concept, but this visit missed the mark…read more I really wanted to like this Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers location more than I did, because the concept is solid and, generally, Cane's food hits. But this visit? Frustrating from start to finish. First off, the setup is misleading. The inside looked empty, and even the drive-thru appeared manageable--until you actually commit. You have to drive deep into the parking lot just to see how long the line really is, and once you're in, there's no easy way out. So now you're stuck. Not ideal. Then comes the wait. About 10 minutes just to place an order, with aggressive drivers jockeying for position like it's a race. I get it--no one wants to sit in that line--but the flow (or lack of it) makes it worse. For a place with two lanes, the organization just isn't there. Service at the speaker? Rough. I felt rushed the entire time, struggled to hear over the noise, and kept getting hit with "I can't hear you, speak up" in a tone that felt more dismissive than helpful. No upsell, no real engagement--just hurry up and move along. To their credit, the pickup window redeemed things a little. Once I got there, the food was ready, and they even overdelivered on condiments (asked for two ketchups, got four). That part was efficient--but it came after a pretty long wait for only about seven cars ahead of me. Now, the food... This is where things really slipped. * The 4-piece tenders felt noticeably smaller--more like large nuggets than actual tenders * Fries were undercooked and skimpy for the price and I had to ask for ketchup * Sweet tea was mostly ice, barely any drink * Overall portions just didn't match the cost For a brand that usually delivers consistency, this felt off. Like corners were being cut. Final take: Started as a 3-star experience based on the process, but dropped to 2 stars once the food came into play. If I could split it, it'd be a 2.5--but Yelp doesn't do that. This place should be better. The foundation is there. But between the chaotic drive-thru, rushed service, and underwhelming portions, it's just not hitting right now. Hope they tighten things up--because Cane's can be really good when it's done right.

It's not the same formula you see at every other chicken place. They do their own thing, and that uniqueness is what makes it worth checking out. The menu is pretty small, but that actually works in their favor. Instead of trying to do everything, they focus on doing a few items well, and the chicken reflects that. The vibe is more of a café feel than a typical fast-food chicken spot, which makes it a nice place to sit down and enjoy your meal.

Lol right? Honestly though, I thoroughly enjoyed the Smokey Mountain BBQ FRIED CHICKEN strips as a small bite for taste followed by an awesome next day lunch. BUT the star of the show, whose reputation precedes itself, is the FLAN! First off I was impressed with the linguistic genius of Dan with his epic phrase "The Holy Grail of Flan". Secondly, my father who made his homemade flan for years said it really was good and really impressed by the abundant amount they give you vs. other restaurants You have to know if it passes his test, it must be good both in flavor and volume! I had a chance to check out their Miami Lakes location Saturday to "balance out" after a cocktail tasting event at nearby venue. Their rotisserie chicken - even the half chicken portion - is pretty sizeable and well flavored with a tasty citrusy, tangy flavor, and the tequenos are my favorite side, right up there with the sweet plantains that came with the chicken. My server was really pleasant and attentive, and they even saved my souvenir bag from the cocktail event. The restaurant itself was clean, well maintained, and with plenty of windows to look out over the Miami Lakes street scene. One thing I would improve is with the extra fee for the nata (butter) sauce to dip the tequenos. It comes with a green sauce (cilantro?) that I am just not a fan off. I did ask my server to take it off and substitute it with the, and found out that it is a bit extra. I mean, it is a substitution. It's not like I'm asking an extra sauce.
