I was Recomended by a Colombian friend to visit this restaurant, very glad we did. The venue is small but the Colombian attentiveness and hospitality was felt since the moment we walked in. Our server was very sweet, she made some recommendations on food and drinks. We ordered the empanadas (cheese,beef and chicken), the picada and ordered some lemonades. I ordered the coconut lemonade and my sister ordered the maracuja lemonade both were fantastic. The meat in the picada was very savory and tender and had potatoes, fried yuca and also sausage it was a perfect dish to share and had a generous amount of everything. A small hole in the wall Columbian restaurant establishment. I had one of their speciality dishes. It is called Bandeja Pasia. I enjoyed it but have had better. The beans had a great taste, as did the plantains, but the steak was rather bland and the sausage was over cooked. Gave another chance to this place after pandemic. Stars rating went down from 2 to 1. Erratic and slow service , food was mediocre, Churrasco had a funny taste( it tasted like liver) tostones were ordered very crispy... got them soft and mushy, they brought one plate, then the other later, oversaw other table next to us had same issue, one soup first and the customer told waiter: we are still waiting for another soup. They charged .99 cents if you use credit card and include tip automatically as gratuity in the bill so if you don't review you may double tip without noticing. This business don't deserve other visit. read more

Steer clear! This place is a$$. The absolute worst "Colombian Empanadas". They tasted as if they use curry in them. Three of us tasted one of the 4 we ordered and could not keep it down. We asked to not be charged for the other 3 and the waitress and then so called manager said they could not waive them off the bill. It really shows how much customer satisfaction means in this place and they clearly don't care about repeat business most likely because they don't see any. On top of this they include an 18% gratuity charge regardless of party size and a $.99 service fee for using a debit/credit card. The service took forever, most likely because they charge you up front for it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. One of my absolute favorite places for authentic Colombian food! The restaurant is small but it is nicely decorated and they often play Colombian music which makes me feel as if I were in Colombia The bandeja paisa is my favorite dish! This clean and nice-looking restaurant has become one of my favorite Colombian restaurant in Miami-Dade. Why? Because it's solid and clean. Well, even though the name is all about chicken, and I don't doubt that it is tasty, the churrascos and steak plates here is what made this place well regarded. The regular churrasco was thick, juicy, big and brought out on a steaming skillet all for a reasonable price, and that's including the well made sides. The tostones are thick, fresh and not dried - just cooked right, and not so salty. I actually like eating them (normally I don't). The plantains (maduros) were cooked to perfection. The house sauce (there's a spicy one and the non-spicy one for your picking) for the steak wasgood and complemented the steak well. You'll be hard pressed to spend more than 15 dollars here, unless if you had ordered the churrasco marinado ($18) which is the steak topped with seafood (squid, octopus, etc). and dressed with a yummy sauce (but some may say that the sauce overpowers the flavor of the steak, but I would slightly disagree - you simply would taste both seafood and steak flavors in the bite). If you're a steak purist, stick with the normal churrasco ($11) and you will be pleased. And upon receiving the bill, I was surprised that they give you a little candy - not many ethnic eateries do that unless if it's Chinese. The little candy was SuperCoco. Don't laugh... I actually enjoyed it! It's a little bite-size turron (hard candy) with a good coconut flavor. I'm addicted to them now! They taste just like coconut macaroons! If you like them, make sure they give you one SuperCoco instead of a coffee flavored candy! This is a worthy stop if you're around in northern Hialeah or Miami Lakes. read more

The bandeja paisa is outstanding. Gives you a little bit of everything to try. But my favorite thing is La Picada which is a mini rustic potatoes, chorizo, carne asada, tomatoes, onions, chicarrones, yuca and plantian chips all in a platter which can easily feed 2-3 or can be eaten as an appetizer between 4-5pp. Don't forget to get either the malta pony or their frozen limeade! read more

Near palmetto exit at 122nd is this little Colombian joint; for when you are on the mood for some refajo ( Colombian mimosa lol) Aguila beer and their typical soda, I absolutely love it. Typical dishes such as calentando and bandeja paisa and of course empanadas. read more

I love stopping in here for food after getting my taxes done, as they are right next to each other. It's definitely going to turn into a yearly ritual. They have very yummy and authentic Colombian food! My fave! I had their chicharron appetizer which was delicious! The pork chunks were perfectly cooked, and were super crispy. Yum! I also ordered a Pony Malta which can be quite difficult to find because most places only offer the Goya one, which I am not a fan of. Typical small old school Colombian spot tucked away in Hialeah. Walked in, seated ourselves, and quickly we were introduced to the menu. Quite a few Colombian dishes to select from however it is paramount to get the "rotisserie" chicken here and so I did. All I can say is wow. It was delicious?
