This is a review based on 8 recent visits, and now I'll be moving to the BF location because this one is missing the mark. 1) on 6 of the 8 visits, 3-5 employees at anytime are taking their breaks and taking up the booths. One morning, I counted 5 employess each taking up a booth, (so 5 of the few booths in the restaurant were taken by employees). Why there are 5 employees on breaks at the same time is another issue (one being a manager it appeared) but this was the case. On several visits, there are no less than 3 employees/managers taking up booths (not all sitting together). Therefore, on several occasions, we've had to sit in the hard chairs unnecessarily. We come when it's not overly busy for this exact reason. You should never be allowed 3-5 booths to be occupied by employees. Of course, they deserve a break, but pick a table and that's the one employees sit at/share to allow PAYING customers to sit in the few booths you have. 2) Yesterday I watched an older, male manager talking with the employees in a group. He grabbed a napkin (he was behind the counter), wiped his runny nose 2-3 times, threw away the napkin, the proceeded to make the drinks for the next customer. I almost threw up watching this. Gross. 3) 3 of my last 8 visits the order was incorrect. It was easily corrected, but not something you'd expect 40% of the time. 4) When it was pouring ran, there was no easy or safe way for the elderly, disabled, or slower walkers to get inside without having to cross traffic or walk in the ran. The drive-thru cars get and have priority. The elderly have to park far away from the door and navigate through cars in the drive-thru and hope they are paying attention. The little 'cross walk' is not covered and therefore in the heavy ran it's like playing the 'Frogger' arcade game. PROS: The staff is friendly, when they are not each taking up 3-5 booths at one time. The food comes out quickly, and people seem to picking up things well and offering to take dirty trays. But these things are the bare minimum. Time to move on to the next one after several not so great experiences. read more

I've been eating Chick-fil-a for years and in the morning I get the chicken minis with cheese. This morning i made my normal order and this kid argued with me that adding cheese to the minis was not a thing and that I couldn't do that. Sorry, you lost my business. read more

This location is never too busy, it has consistently been the fastest CFA to get in & out of! The staff is kind and the food is on point with the quality expected! We came for breakfast this morning and tend to prefer this location over the others in the area! Currently obsessed with Egg White Chicken Grill English Muffin with Texas Pete Hot Sauce - gets me close to my protein meal goal with 27g Protein!! read more

Here are my occasional random fast food notes you've been looking for. You're welcome. Sausage egg and cheese muffin tastes fresher, a little less fast food greasy, and is a bit heartier than McDonalds. A decent alternative to the classic served next door. Spicy chicken biscuit is, well, quite gummy. It'd be perfect for someone that wants their spicy chicken too early for lunch, not as spicy, and prefers to have every bite stick to the roof of their mouth. On the positive side, there's not much reason to bother chewing. Like most every chick-fil-a, the drive through experience is efficient, well orchestrated, and personalized. read more

Special lunch with grandson at one of his favorite fast food restaurants. Today's question of the hour: Drive thru? Order on App & pick up? Walk in? Two reasonably long lines in the drive-through but we decided to take our chances as they appeared to be moving steadily. Perhaps 2 or 3 minute wait & we were able to give our order to one of the "strolling" attendants. Cars moved steadily forward, some leapfrogging lanes as their orders were delivered to them and they were free to leave. Then another 3 or 4 minute wait ....not unexpected since this was at the height of lunch rush. Order delivered right to our car window and we were off to find a shady spot to enjoy. Order was exactly as we had requested. Food was tasty, hot (although waffle fries could have been more crisp). All in all - really nice lunch with G2. read more

I went to go pick up a mobile order today and everything was great with my food. However, when I was waiting a door dash driver had come to pick up an order. He came back showed him the phone and said that they had forgot it. The strawberry milkshake was on the drivers phone but the manager said "well I don't have it and walked away." The driver started to walk away when I asked "so he didn't give it to you" he replied "nope I guess not" and left. He was so calm about it bless him but he's going to get in trouble from the company and the person who ordered it is now down $6 (up charge for doordash) and the whole thing was so ridiculous it's a milkshake!! Someone had clearly paid and ordered it and the way the manager (i'm assuming since he was handling all the orders) was so immoral. He was a white man maybe in his 30s heavier (would be able to give the name but he wasn't wearing his name tag probably for the attitude reason) but he should take another customer service course or maybe be placed back in the kitchen area so he won't have to cause any more issues. read more

To give Chick-fil-A anything less than 5 stars hurts me but I just went to pick up a quick lunch and was very disappointed. I placed my order in the drive thru, a 3 count chicken strip meal with a lemonade. I did not think to check my order because I hold such trust in the staff at Chick, so I didn't realize until I got home that I only received 2 chicken strips... I'm used to men in my past letting me down on Valentine's Day but not Chick-fil-A. It's Christmas Eve they aren't busy and Johana is standing there talking while we stand and watch her. She finally jumps on a register, I asked for a egg and cheese on a biscuit and home fries. She said "we don't have fries" I apologized and said oh I know I meant hash browns. You just call them something different. Then she said"you want an egg and cheese biscuit?" I replied yes and gave her my drink order. She didn't smile she just said "what else" My husband followed with his order, we sat down the food comes out and they brought me a bagel. What?!? Come on. We ordered 2 meals. Nothing complicated and she even repeated it back. But she wasn't engaged or pleasant or the typical polite chick fil a girl. She was disengaged unpleasant and clearly not qualified to ring in customers if she messed up our simple order when they weren't busy so there was no reason to be overwhelmed. She didn't even have to get our drinks, the manager did it for her. When I took back my incorrect sandwich the girl that helped was soooo sweet (typical chick fil a experience) and went and had the correct sandwich made. We come here ALLL the time I would give a one star for today, but we'll meet in the middle since usually it's ok. Although last Saturday my biscuit had a black hair in it! This location beats any Chick-fil-A location I have ever been to. My husband, son, and I were in town looking for a home rent. Today, we dropped by for breakfast. We expected good food because all Chick-Fil-A locations have good food. However, we were amazed by the great service and the kindness of the staff. In particular, I'd like to recognize the manager Herb for his spectacular service. Our son, a toddler, was a little cranky so we were having some trouble getting our order to the table and managing him. Herb took over and took care of everything for us! He handled getting us napkins and condiments, fixing my husband's coffee, and every little detail until we were able to fully focus and enjoy our meal. I have never had such a great service. Two stars only because the gentleman who helped us (David) was very kind. Unfortunately the food was not spectacular...our fries were cold and in a large there were only 7 total fries, and they weren't ginormous - my sons kids meal had more fries than our large. Our sandwiches with extra-extra pickles had four total. One of the chicken nuggets were just a small chunk of breading. Finally and most importantly, the entire restaurant was filthy (see image posted). At 1:45pm on a Monday, with only a few people in the store and employees standing around talking, there's really no excuse. This is the second bad experience here and though I love Chick-Fil-A, we will choose the Cool Springs location from here out, even though it's a much further drive. read more

Wow. Makes me so very sad. We used to LOVE this location but it has changed so much. I miss the old experience when the orders were always right and the staff was trained to offer proper customer service. For the last two years we have been coming to this location and, up until about a two months ago, we loved it. There have been rare mistakes in the past and I have usually called to let someone know. Not to complain, but to genuinely let them know what happened in case a process is breaking down etc. To be honest I wasn't even mildly annoyed but any of the previous issues. I have had managers offer free food gift cards but have turned down the offer because it wasn't about that. They offered an apology, said they would discuss it with their team and everyone was happy. I just call to let them know so they can see where the breakdown was and make sure it doesn't happen for the next guest. And it was VERY rare to have a mistake. But the last FOUR times we have eaten here they have messed our order up in some way, each time. The last three times I tried to tell them a sandwich was missing, then one of the chicken sandwiches was pink inside and felt like was dumped in a glass of water. The breading was super mushy and the chicken was gross. Now the food we just picked up isn't cooked all the way. But hey....mistakes happen and we have loved this place so I was willing to let it go and just get my money back on the last order. Because now mistakes are happening way too often. I don't live that close to them so I called the store to tell them the issue and let them know I would be back up there later that day. The woman I spoke with said she was a team lead and was very excited about my uncooked food. I said, "I'll come up there in a little while to bring the food back." "Great," she replied. No....this is not great. How about, "Gosh I am really sorry about that." I don't live that close....this is the fourth issue we have had in as many weeks. I have never given them a hard time about the problems but today was just super irritating. A manager got on the phone and I asked her name. She responded, "I'm the manager." I asked for her name again. She replied, "What's the problem?" So I asked for her name again. Her response was, "What's your name?" I told her and said, "It sounds to me like you are irritated with me because you didn't cook my food." She said they can't overcook their food and I told her I just wanted it cooked the same way it's been cooked for the last two years. She was irritated the moment she got on the phone and refused to give me her name. I asked again and she finally said her name was Natalie. Hey....it's a crazy world right now. Customers can be super rude. Everyone's jobs are tough and I am sure they deal with angry customers all the time. I wasn't one of them. I just paid $35 for food that wasn't cooked properly. I simply wanted to drive all the way back up there (I don't live that close to them) and bring the food back and get my money back. I didn't want anything free. But I at least wanted a tiny bit of customer service. Please do better. We are all having a tough time and I am no exception. The main difference is you are getting paid to be rude to me and I am paying to get bad food and bad service. And to Natalie, I am not sure why you were so irritated. I was never rude. I never leave bad reviews because I understand that mistakes happen, but this was next level BAD SERVICE! Messed up my order, only received a bag full of hash browns because the girl "pushed the wrong button". Now my kiddo has to play a volleyball game hungry and I missed most of it going back to get her the food I ordered. When I drove back hoping they would make it right and just give me chicken biscuits, they refused to compensate me in any way for having to come back for their mistake, and then Jonathan H. loudly declared to the manager (who never approached the situation) and all of the staff that I "was just trying to get free food!" It was incredibly rude and embarrassing. Not the customer service Chick-Fil-A is known for. I will never return to this location. I was so upset after the whole interaction that my husband called and the manager Doug told him "the customer isn't always right when they're wrong". Rather than just giving me the missing item, they took all of my food back and gave me a full refund. IT WAS INSANE! Also so incredibly petty, but I have never had an experience like this anywhere!! The quality of service has declined to the point I'm done. I went on lunch break at 11:00. I spent 20 minutes in the drive through line with ONE car in front of me. The girl was chit chatting with them the whole time. Got back to work and my food was wrong. Had to go back to get it corrected. All I got was a "sorry" as they handed me my food. Luckily I love this Chick-Fil-A location since it's right by my house! I feel like they're my neighbors...the neighbors you always dreamed of having! The service is exceptional (duh, it's Chick-fil-A), but seriously, they're all great! Even the younger staff are very well trained. I can tell that this location puts the customer first. They have a very efficient system set up to reduce traffic and avoid backups. They are also active on their Facebook page and sometimes give away free items, so be sure to follow them! My boyfriend is obsessed with the Chick-fil-A app, which is especially useful at this location. You can easily place an order on your phone, check-in when you park right out front in the app reserved spots, and they bring your food to your car! This is great for busy mornings when you gotta have that chicken biscuit before work! I don't have kids, but I know they do many family nights here, which always seem wildly popular! I'm a fan of Chick-fil-A but this restaurant, which I believe is drive-through only at the moment, due to COVID19, is falling down. There was a time when a long line at the drive-thru meant nothing. This is a company that knows how to move people along. That said, the time to get through the drive thru is increasing but more irritatingly is the lack of order accuracy. This is not the first time, but on this day a chicken biscuit and two things of chicken minis were left out. What are our options? Go sit in the drive thru line another 20 minutes? What is hard to swallow is that on this day and the two days following, I called the restaurant multiple times and the phone was never answered. read more

While I will always eat at this location as I've been coming here for about 4 years now, staff has become slightly lazy when preparing food. They have focused on fast service, which is great. However I always have to order a large fry now just to get a medium amount. They never fill the carton to brim anymore. And I assume it's because they are working so quickly to push order out. Friendly service, great food, and I love the app with curbside pickup! The only complaint I have about this location is the traffic direction around the restaurant. Like most Chick-Fil-A restaurants, the drive-thru is a madhouse. You have to know where to enter the restaurant, and sometimes it's hard to find parking or get around. All chic-fil-a in the Franklin, TN area have begun failing on service. I take my daughter here after swim lessons every week and since the HWY 96 store and Barry farms stores have opened all locations have begun leaving out items. Looks like it is time to find a new place to take my daughter. Additionally the store in Lebanon the last time I was there was filthy puddles of liquid in the lobby, very few employees, those that were there were helpful and kind. Customer service is what sets chic-fil-a part from others, there is nothing special about their food, KFC, and Zaxbys are just as comparable. The service is the difference.
