It has been a WHILE since I've been out of the house, but going out for Chick-fil-A was WORTH IT! And with this whole quarantine, I was surprised to see that their drive thru line was just as busy as usual. I placed a mobile order and opted for curbside pickup to minimize the amount of contact with others and was pleasantly surprised with their procedures. The employees that bring your food to your car have masks and gloves and use large storage bins to help them carry your drinks and bags of food. The employee that came to our car took extra caution and allowed us to grab our own food and drinks from the storage bin, which was nice because it eliminated one extra touch point from their end. Our food was delivered in a timely manner and the employee that delivered our food also waited for me to check my bags to make sure I had all my items before returning to the building to grab the next person's order. I already loved this Chick-fil-A, and seeing the extra care they took during these times, made me fall in love with them even more! Good job Chick-fil-A! Keep up the great work! read more

I am a red status chick fil a member so I give them chances, but this one is by far the worst I've been to. Very slow drive through and pre order service and staff was not friendly. Also I stood for about 15 min waiting for my food and I'm not sure if it's because Black people are at times invisible in establishments but all the people around and behind me were asked about their orders, while I had so stop someone to ask about mine -which again was ordered through the app prior to my arrival. My frosted lemonade was left off my order and when i went to get it, it was melted as if it was sitting for the whole wait time. The other day I was in the drive through line for about 30 minutes and I didn't start at the end of the line, so there weren't that many people in line. This chick-fil-a is the WORST! Literally every single time I order food there, they short me on the fries every time. Like i swear it's a prank sometimes it's that bad. Order a large fry and it is LITERALLY the amount of a small fry or LESS. And it's every single time I get food there. Got it today. Got home, opened the bag, and large fry, less than half full. Order a medium fry, same thing. It's like they fill a small fry bag, and just dump them into a large container like "that should do it. NEXT!" It's crazy. And it's every time. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! After a long day of work just now, I stopped to pick up dinner. Get allllll the way home and a sandwich is missing out the bag. Frustrated and exhausted, I had no choice but to go alllll the way back because $4 for a sandwich for my son is hard to just say "forget it". On the way back I called and spoke with a manager to vent about the day I had and how the icing was put on the cake because my order was missing something. She instructed me to come back and ask for her. I get allll the way back, some guy who said he is a manager just came to my car. If I could give this location 0 stars I would. Me and my roommates have been to this location several times since January. I mean at least a couple days out the week and each time we goes it gets worse and worse. First off the drive Thru line is not only wrapped around the building but it backs up into the street and into nearby businesses. Just ridiculous. Then on top of that the curbside service takes a long time. And NONE of the workers are friendly. The icing on the cake for me was when me and my roommates ordered curbside service all from our own devices and waited in the car. Theirs came and mine never came (even though it said my food was on the way to the car) we waited 20 minutes just for the order to magically disappear from my phone. Then we got out the car to ask what's going on and the workers said that happens sometimes. What do you mean if just happens?!?!? Then she asked for my order # which wasn't popping up and asked to see my bank account so she can see the transaction which was highly inappropriate. I have the order # right here and it charged my account. You're not going to argue me down when I have an actual receipt. Then we talk to the manager SHELBY who was not helpful at all and said the only thing she can do for me was upgrade my drink from a small to a medium. Really Shelby that's it? A medium drink comes with the meal!! I just downgraded it to watch my calories so you didn't lose any money by upgrading it back up to a medium. At that point we're just ready to leave. We spent an hour going back and forth with them so my friends food that came on time was cold and we weren't offered anything free. Not even a cookie. I have even filed a complaint haven't heard anything back in a month, called 2 weeks ago haven't heard anything back. At this point I don't know what going on with Chick-fil-A but I will not be returning to any location until I get my money back and an apology. Don't come to this location. From the moment I got in line the young girl taking the order was very dry. Didn't repeat the order and never said my pleasure. Which isn't a big deal but I just knew this couldn't it. I ordered two kids meals and scanned a brownie from my rewards off my wife's phone. Which when I got to the window one of the kids meals didn't have a fry and I was missing the brownie. I told the young lady I'm missing my fry and brownie. So she hands me a bag with a brownie and another bag with more chicken nuggets from the kids meal. I then tell her I didn't need another nugget but a fry. She now has a attitude because they can't read the screen and get the order correct. I try to avoid this place at night time and I suggest everyone else do the same. Just a big headache. read more

I first want to start off with how much my children and I love chick fil a and how excited we were to learn there was going to be a location opening that was closer to our home. I am only giving this location 2 stars because I have gone to this location maybe 3 times and they have messed up on my order more than once. I hope this is due to being a new location and they still have kinks to work out. Idk but it's very disappointing to get home and have missing food, flat ass pop and no dipping sauces. I've visited this Chick-Fil-A location a few times over the years, and they haven't been the most consistent. There's typically always a decent line, which moves swiftly, but the cleanliness and quality of service always differs. Specifically today, I was serviced through the drive-thru and despite declining their offer to 'upscale' my medium meal, I was still charged and given a large meal. Unfortunately, I hadn't noticed until we had already pulled out of the Tower Shops center. We were also offered whipped cream and cherry for our shake, and received no cherry? Sometimes they're great and an exceptional example of that Chick-Fil-A experience, but most times it's just an average fast food experience. I've had better with other locations. read more

This is the only Chick-Fil-A in the country that I have ever had a bad experience at. The line is always ridiculous no matter what time you come. The line itself isn't the issue because we all know that Chick-fil-a can clear a 20 car line in 10 min and never mess up an order. This one on the other hand takes forever and the line set up in ridiculous. It always goes out into the shopping plaza parking lot blocking traffic and there is no one outside taking orders or directing traffic. After the long wait my order was still wrong. Yesterday evening I had a rather distasteful experience at the Chick-fil-a on 1900 S. University drive. It's quite ironic because the whole time I'm in line to order I explain to my family that they are the most pleasant fast food staff. Perhaps on the outside, but when faced with a true customer service dilemma...their true colors show. I came in with my family for a quick dinner. At the register was a young man who took our order as follows: 2 crispy spicy chicken Market salads and one order of the number 2 (spicy chicken sandwich) with a large combo and an extra order of small fries. We sit down excited to eat and wait for our food to be delivered to our table. While we wait we notice the young man from the register give our food to the wrong table. The family only realizes this after eating a few fries from our order and then exclaims "wait this isn't our order" and proceeds to get up and asks if it was our order. We say yes and we put it on our table. We start to see that our order was prepared incorrectly. The salad's spicy chicken was prepared with the grilled instead of crispy chicken. I then go to the register and a young lady by the name of Shelby comes over to help me. Her name tag describes her as the "Lead". I begin to tell her that I asked for the spicy crispy chicken strips not the grilled. She looks at me without any apology and says "ok can I get the other salads". I said absolutely and we brought them over, and still no apology. But fine, we just want to have a meal so I go back to the table. Then we realize we were not given the small fries we ordered. I double check on the receipt that the young man correctly placed our order and yes the small fries is on the receipt. I then go back to Shelby and tell her "excuse me, we also did not get a small fry" and she says "is that the order with the salads? I specifically remember putting the small fry on there". Now this blew my mind. I then say "ok, well we did not get it. It was not on our tray." At this point I would think she would give me a small fry and be done with it. Instead she continues with "I remember putting a small fry on the try, im the one that prepared it." My family overhears this and brings the trays to her and surprisingly enough she continues saying she put it on the try and starts asking questions as if she is conducting an investigation! I was appalled! I couldn't believe I was getting questioned over a small fries. I tell her "ma'am, I would not be here asking you about a small fry if I got one". Furthermore, I explain to her that our tray was given to the wrong table to begin with as well. And the family who they gave it to came up to explain they gave it to them on accident and they took the small fry. Shelby still kept asking questions and did not apologize once nor change her attitude! The discussion and demeanor and attitude of Shelby was completely rediculous and unnecessary. When explaining to her she had this monotone voice where it seemed she wasn't listening to a word we were saying and kept going on fighting me on the small fry. I couldn't believe what was going on. Instead of going and getting me a small fry she stayed in the front talking to me. I felt there was no way I was getting to Shelby, as she did not stop to apologize once or attempt to fix the situation. I asked for a full refund and left. TLDR: Order was 1. prepared incorrectly, 2. sent to the wrong table and was 3. missing an item. Spoke to the lead Shelby who was was rude, argumentative and unapologetic about her team's mistakes and instead of giving me my order she proceeded to question the events and argue with me. I typically avoid this location and honestly this shopping center because the line goes out into traffic. So when I saw how crazy packed this location was on a Friday afternoon, I was shocked and worried. What I soon learned was, there was no need for that. This location, in terms of service, is absolutely excellent. Let's just say the drive thru line wrapped around the building and down the street, and inside the line was really long. However, they were SO quick. We were in line for no more than 3 minutes. Our food came out really quickly and was brought to our table. There's a fantastic team working here. Even the managers are taking care of both big and little things. It was such a pleasant thing to experience. Food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I do love chick-fil-a food in general anyways. But yeah - service is phenomenal. Don't get the least bit intimidated by long lines. They know how to handle it just fine. Good job, Chick-Fil-A of Davie. Good job. read more

OMG OMG OMG!!! CHICK FIL A!!!!!! I LOVE me some good chicken sandwiches. The downside is that we don't have any Chick Fil A's near our home, the closest is a 2 hour drive away. :( Whenever we travel, I always see if my path will intersect with a yummy chicken sandwich. We stopped her since its on the way to FLL airport and stopped in for a quick meal. Chicken sandwiches + waffle fries + lemonade = PERFECT! Service was prompt and super friendly. For those who have military ID's, its a free meal on the house. Free refills galore! I have reviewed probably 20 Chick-fil-A restaurants on Yelp, so I obviously love this food and this restaurant is very similar to all the others. Good food, good service, good prices, clean bathrooms, etc. I generally get a #1 meal for lunch with no pickles and ask for the fries well done as they normally are a little non-crispy. Went there today (8-1-2022) and found it kinda strange that the drive-thru was pretty empty. I've been to this Chick-fil-A a BUNCH of times before and there's never a time it's not packed with cars/people. Anyway, went inside and it was pretty quiet in there as well. They had maybe 4 customers eating at the tables. I went to the register and a bunch of employees were congregated in an area, they all saw me, but decided to keep talking with each other. One of them came out of the kitchen (she was working the drive-thru), she said good morning to me and kept walking. She didn't say if anyone would be right with me and didn't tell anyone else to come to the register to help me, nothing. So I just waited. Finally, one of their customers came and asked for some sauce or something and that's when I asked the employee for assistance too. I took my kids to have breakfast and play in their play are, but the employee said that it's no longer a play area, it's now a meeting room! We were VERY disappointed about that. No wonder the place is empty! I wasn't happy that they took a while (even after seeing me waiting) to assist me, and even less happy when I learned about the annoying new meeting room. I hope they rethink this and open the play area again. If you want to make money, you have to entertain kids... that's where at all lies. Parents come to places like these with kids because it's convenient, fun, safe and sometimes too hot or raining outside. Unfortunately, this is the closest Chick-fil-A to me (I live about 10 miles away from it) and I don't think I'll be going back there, unless they bring the play area back. With the stress of everything already going on in the world, this is one of the last things I think I would need today. After leaving a doctors appointment and before heading back home for an important meeting I decide to order online for my lunch. I placed my order and I wait, a little longer than normal due to the pandemic, and when they bring my order out, they tell me that one of the items I ordered is no longer available but they are unable to give me a refund for just one item. I offered them to refund my full meal, and I would re-pay for the items I wanted to keep because I was in a very time sensitive situation. They declined and said that was not possible. read more

I remember how I was unimpressed with the Chick-fil-A at UF years ago. Now here is one opened up near me, I went back to give it another try. the waffled fries and chicken nuggets were the only thing I thought was good from years back, and yup, still good! They also give you free refills on your drinks if you hand the cup back to them, but I wished it's self refill, cause when it's packed (which often happens at lunch), you have to wait around to get their attention and that can take a while. Lastly, the sandwiches. The buns are so greasy they filled my mouth with taste of oil, it's gross to a point that i had to throw them away after a couple of bites. The grilled chicken breasts are still bland and tasteless and no amount of salt and pepper or sauce packs can save it. The breaded and fried chicken sandwiches are better, but I would rather eat the nuggets instead. Can anyone tell me why they don't open on Sundays? YUCK! Avoid this location at all cost. Employees are unsanitary. It was my turn to pick up my food on the drive-thru when I witnessed my son's cup of ice cream had been knocked down and fallen to the floor. The employee (female with tattoos on her arms) proceeds to pick it up FROM THE FLOOR and attempts to hand it to me as if nothing had happened. That cup should have been discarded, especially during times like these with COVID-19. I call her out and say I saw her picking it up form the floor and needed a new one. She unhappily made me a new one and gave me the dirtiest look as if I had made her life so difficult by not accepting a cup of ice cream that had fallen when all the other employees step. But this is not the first time I've witnessed how gross this place is. When the dining room was open, I often witnessed them grab unused sauce packed from dirty tables and even on top of the garbage can and put them right back where they store them. I called them out on that too and they assured me that they put it in a solution. LIES! I'm a huge ServSafe advocate and stuff like this is why people get contaminated with weird stuff. read more

This plaza is always packed with cars no matter where you go. This location is busy 24/7. I've came here over 10+ times and will continue to come because their service is incredible. Don't get me wrong you might spend 20+ min in the drive through when they're busy but you'd spend double the time in any other fast food place with the amount of people that are there.
