This Chick-fil-A location is inside the Dallas Love Field airport in its main food court area. Every time I've been here they always have a huge line but they try to move it as quickly as possible. Please note that they only have a limited menu and online ordering through the app does not work here. One reason I'm not giving them a full five stars is that they don't have kid's meals available for purchase which I think is ridiculous. They have almost all the components of the kid's meal, so how hard would it be to add that to their menu? This is a terrible establishment unlike any Chick Fila I've ever been to before. I ordered food tonight and a strawberry lemonade. When I got to eating it while in the car driving on the freeway, 1) it was cold 2) the chicken was mostly cartilage and fat 3) the drink that I got was all ice. I left the establishment with my food, and was driving down the freeway, taking a sip of my drink, which was all ice, then I decided you know I'm going to go back and tell them that the drink is all ice and 0 strawberry mix and ask if I might get a replacement. The girl at the drive thru was nice enough and said that they would replace my drink. But once I got to the window, the team member gave me the wrong order, an ice cream, and an iced tea. When she handed me the ice tea, I took it at first, but then told her, I think you meant to give me the strawberry lemonade. She looked puzzled, and she said no, you ordered the iced tea then proceeded to hand me an ice cream cone with her bare hands. I took it with my bare hands and my finger grazed a little bit of the top of the ice cream with my fingers because as drive-through's go, that's what happens when people hand you food . We were honest and we said we did not order the ice cream, and we handed it back to her. The Store Manager, Fabiola, then came to the window and we let her know that we got a drink earlier about 20 minutes ago, and it was all ice. (Have you ever taken a sip of a drink full of ice? When the majority of the volume is ice, there won't be much liquid or soda pop in there... basic chemistry, right?) Fabiola did not understand nor empathize with us. She took a look at the drink and she told us that we drank it so she could not give us a new one. I let her know that Yes we took a drink from it, because we were trying to find the strawberries that weren't even in there and in the process of taking one sip (two of us took a sip) and discovered it was all ice. I have never had to really complain about anything as you can see from my yelp reviews. I normally write all five star reviews for everybody, but this was honestly one of the most unkind, un empathetic Chick Fil-As I have ever been to. It would have probably cost them probably at most, $.50 to replace my $3.50 plus drink. And they didn't do anything because they gave me a drink full of ice, and then blamed me for drinking all the liquid even though there was probably just an inch of lemonade in there to begin with. So essentially I paid $3.89 for large...ice, which they did not give me any money back for nor did they have any empathy when I told them that it was all ice so that I could just get a replacement lemonade. They actually had the gold to ask me for 50 more cents when I got to the window because they said that if I wanted more, I'd have to pay more or for a whole new one again. This restaurant really has no common sense for how to keep clients or think about putting guests ahead of themselves. This was my first time at this particular Chick-fil-A and I will not be back to this establishment here because of bad service by Fabiola. I did not even get to tell her about the cold and gross chicken that was in my sandwich. We tend to get Chick-fil-A as a treat, often times, but today was a horrible experience and I do not recommend this particular Chick-fil-A on 7718 North Central Expressway. There are plenty of other establishments to go to around here like Hawaiian Brothers, McDonald's, In-N-Out and Chipotle and Pei Wei. I ended up actually going into In-N-Out after this, because I was just so disturbed by this Chick-fil-A, Fabiola, and my cold food. Oh, and I also feel bad for the next person that was after my car, because as I looked back, they got that ice cream that I handled when it was accidentally given to me first, and they also got the iced tea that we also were given, and it was inside of my car for a good two minutes in my cupholder before they asked for it back after I told them that we had re-ordered a strawberry lemonade and this was incorrect because this was a dark ice tea and not the lemonade replacement. I had even uncapped it, and they literally gave it to the next guest that it was supposed to go to. I get home one kiss meal is missing everybody's eating a little kid five year-old has no food to eat same time with them I rush go back to them again wait in line tell them I ordered two of them. They could care less they could've given it to me for free. They didn't even offer it. I had to pay for the meal that they made a mistake and me trusting them I didn't check the bag because they usually don't make mistakes but when they made it, I confronted them and they did nothing about it. This is a great location for a Chick-fil-A! Easy access and easily seen. Thus it tends to be VERY busy! Despite being very busy, it tends to be very quick! My last order was during the evening rush. I was in the double lane drive through. All in all, it was a short wait. I understand the curbside is faster if you order ahead, but I like my waffle fries really hot or they tend to not make it home. (Having to blow on them to cool them while driving slows the consumption rate by 3 fold.) I ordered my typical Chick-fil-A deluxe meal with large lemonade and another large waffle fry (for the drive home and you thought I was kidding). I like to take the outside lane as the people that hand you the food tend to really take care of you from the separate building. (Plus I'm a engineer type and like to watch the order come into the little shack.) They had my condiments and drinks ready and off I went after paying. The food was of the Chick-fil-A quality all expect and the taste was perfect. The waffle fries were perfect and MOST of the 2nd one made it home. The first one didn't. But I only doordash here cause I'm getting paid to wait Just take a look at this daily line all the way to the Highway intersection though. That's what stops me from using the drive through. The other side of the building is a one-way double exit. That some people even enter from, and make it super hard to get out if your a person that entered correctly. I happened to be in the area and didn't want a burger so I decided this was as good option. Pulled up and both lines of the drive thru had cars so I decided I would go in and place my order. I went in thinking I was gonna get a salad, however the salad was a little to fussy. Yes, I can admit that I'm a picky eater and have the palette of a 6 year old, so things like blue cheese and apples and cranberries have no place in my salad. Finally resorted to chicken nuggets & the watermelon mint lemonade. I usually get an Arnold Palmer (1/2 sweet tea 1/2 lemonade) but decided to be adventurous. With that said it tasted like it was a mint simple syrup with some watermelon and lemonade in it, very minty so I won't be getting that again. I don't recall Chick-fil-a having the nugget ice but that was a nice surprise for future visits. Martha was a very unconcerned "manager" who didn't have the slighted issue with the fact that I told her numerous times that I frequent her location and that today was just nasty! She continued to tell me that they just prepared the food (it was 10:40 so breakfast had just concluded) and that she was the one who delivered it. Martha, I order the same thing every time and today was not it! My lemonade was TART!!!! My fries tasted like they were from any random place with waffle fries. And the chicken was like... moist.. if that makes sense (I had fried chicken and so did my boyfriend). If I can go to Wendy's and the manager can give coupons to customer who were manipulated to give money to a begger in his store I think that Martha could've done SOMETHING... ANYTHING to make me WANT to come back. Now? I'll never go back to this location again. I'll INCONVENIENTLY take my business to the many other restaurants in this area. THANKS MARTHA. New policy: Refusing to cook items "well done". This is 30 seconds of an additional cook time on their fryers. Seems they prefer to undercook & have you complain. I will never deny the tastiness of Chick Fil A's meals, and the speediness of their service. Some of the employees here are legitimately nice too but let's cut the crap and get to the core issue... Me, a loyal customer for several years (used to work right next door at Guitar Center) got banned, and the manager threatened to even call the cops on me after they thought I was trying to scam them for $3.24, the price of a Chick Fil A sandwich. Instead of the manager at the time telling me, we are not allowed to refund your money, they gave me back $3.24 in cash. The next day my boss at GC tells me that Chick Fil A HR called him and said I'm no longer welcome at that location. As someone who ate there regularly and spent probably over $1000 at that location, I was shocked, and upset over this misunderstanding... I thought a conversation with the Chick Fil A manager was in order, so we could clarify and amicably resolve the problem. Their response? That they would call the cops on me if I didn't leave. What kind of BS is that? So yeah... Besides their bigot causes that they contribute, and their terrible corporate vibe, and their nauseating Christian Rock music, this A hole manager has cemented my feelings about Chick Fil A. I only gave them the extra star, 2/5 vs. 1/5 because they have undeniably FAST service, and their food is damn tasty (though hardly nutritious/healthy lol). So I made a mobile order because I didn't want to go inside due to the Coronavirus. I follow the directions in the mobile app and arrive at the drive through window. They say they don't have my order. I show them my mobile order number and they say they don't have it. I wasted over 10 minutes in the line, holding up the long line of people in behind me and the line was spilling over onto the street. Then at the window I have to repeat my order again, and they tell me to go wait at another waiting area. And they bring my order but it's all incorrect and the manager finally comes and I have to repeat my order to her yet again. She bring it and forgets the Chick Fil A sauce and I end up waiting for her yet again. While in the drive thru, I witnessed an employee bang on someone's window who had just ordered and parked. Stuck around to see what happened and they called the cops. I didn't see anything that warranted that harassment from that employee. The "operator" of this location definitely lacks the morals and standards that Chick fila A stands for. It's a small wonder why parents and people in general like eating here: - They fry the chicken in peanut oil - Their waffle fries, BBQ sauce, and sweet tea! - Bringing food to your table and picking up items for you is "[their] pleasure"! Fantastic fast-food service. - Sticky table cover for the kiddos - Anti-Bac Wipes outside the indoor play area - And the latest and greatest thing they've implemented is the basket by the trash can where you can return the unused condiments and utensils. I'm not sure I believe the reviews posted for this location are real. I made a special request for a simple order for a chicken strip meal and was flat out told that they would not fulfill the request. The person who told me this (I think his name was Amir) told me he was a manager. I asked to speak with someone above him and he refused that as well. In okay if the restaurant has a policy or changed policies but having bad customer service and not allowing the customer to ask a question or get an explanation makes this place horrible in my opinion. I've read other good reviews so perhaps it was this employee that was bad at customer service. I also read another review that these bad policies come from the owner Jeff White himself. It's sad to see so many people give places 5-star reviews because they do their jobs and provide basic customer service.
