I love this Chick-fil-A for 3 simple reasons: 1-The food always comes out hot and fresh. 2-The employees are always polite and very pleasant. (training?) 3-The lines, although long, move quickly, except I always choose the wrong lane. My only complaint is that it cost over $20 for a chicken sandwich meal and a small Mac and cheese. For that price I could get a much nicer meal at a much nicer place. But alas, I still come back?!? Besides that, this is a very clean and well managed store. After all these years I am still a weekly customer. The food is always good, service is always good and as much as I wish I could stay away, I can't. It's too convenient and too yummy. I order ahead with the app and mostly go inside to get my food. Sometimes it's the drive through and very rarely we eat inside. It's well taken care of and run as smoothly as it can. I love Chick Fil-A, but the order fulfillment is hit or miss here. They're always jam-packed with lines, so I can imagine them rushing to complete each order. As a result of this, I should probably check each order since there are usually some items missing, ranging from salads to sandwiches. I haven't had this happen to me, but recalled a friend who got the sandwich without the filet :). The staff didn't believe him by asking him to take a bite. He did, but still no filet in the sandwich :) If it weren't for this inconsistent service, I'd likely give five stars. I was craving chick fil a for a few days now so I drove 20 minutes to the commack location from Holbrook and ordered a four piece chicken minis with french fries and a diet Dr Pepper. I ordered this during breakfast so they told me that the fries to be about 10 to 15 minute wait because they would be fresh. I said no problem, I was so excited! My fries were soft and soggy Found a hair in my chicken mini, then another one on my beverage cup. I was so disgusted by the hair that I couldn't even finish my meal. I wish I saved a photo of the in oral hair I found on my chicken mini, but I didn't. I removed it. Visited the Commack NY location today to place a big order for a delayed pick up and the manager wouldn't accommodate me. I was told to come back when you want the food and order it then. I explained that I don't have the time later and needed to order it now. I didn't understand why she didn't want to take the order because there was no one in the restaurant and 7 employees behind the counter. Because of her lack of care for her customers, I was late for my appointment and I blame her! Was it laziness, ignorance or just plain stupid, not sure. The organization, friendliness and PATIENCE is above and beyond. Yes, people are hungry and going insane from being home, but these are the people getting your food for you. The chick fil a sauce i got on the side was nice The chicken tenders were small The fries were ok, the mac n cheese was bland but i could see real cheese in it. However after my final bite of the mac n cheese + a waffle frie = winning combination. So if you feel like waiting 30 minutes inline on a busy night its worth a takeout chicken sandwitch. Because I placed an order through Uber eats and chick fil a did not provide a quality check to ensure the delivery person was given the correct order they are not responsible for their error. Despite speaking to chick fil a customer service regarding my experience and verbalizing what was clearly a mistake on their part, they refused to take any responsibility or even apologize for the inconvenience. I wasn't a fan of chick fil a before I tried the grilled nuggets and they really changed my mind. There always seems to be a line despite the very efficient drive through. Make sure you check your order before you drive away because they really messed up my order the last time I visited, we didn't get any sauces and I got a large coke instead of an unsweetened iced tea but at least the food tasted good. ice cream here is great!! read more

Before Chick-Fil-A came to Long Island they were mired in controversy because the CEO came out against Gay Marriage in favor of Christian "Values." They were all up in the news ....protests outside of locations! And yet, the brand did not seem to suffer. And after eating here for the first time the other night, I see why sales did not suffer and locations had to close. They actually expanded since then. Anything exclusive and random on Long Island will be crowded to the max every time you go. This place is no exception to that rule. I rolled up to to it and second guessed myself because the drive through line was very long. Let me just go in and sit down I thought, as the line inside was not too bad. The staff inside are all very friendly and courteous and quick. That provides a pleasant experience right as you enter and order. No one is miserable or looking at your like your dumb as you order. This helps the overall atmosphere and I enjoy places like this. I wish I knew the guy's name that helped me. His service was stellar. You order the food and you dont have to wait for it at the counter! Wow...that makes common sense. Ill just grab a table and wait for them to deliver it to the table. And that happened rather quickly based on the thing they give you to have on the table. Now....the food. As soon as I tried a bite of the chicken sandwich I knew what all the hype was about. It was so amazingly good to eat. Warm and fresh ingredients that did not taste like fast food at all. I got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and did not add sauce on it so I can savor the taste. That coupled with the waffle fries. And not really much grease on the food either! It was really good and I enjoyed the meal so much that I treated myself to a Cookies & Cream shake on the way out. Bottom Line....this company went against the mob mentality on the internet and endured protests and I see why.....it has a good product and that will always prevail. The only down side to this place was that it was so mobbed with younger folks that it was extremely loud in there and a lot was going on.
