Love love love this Chick-fil-A. I literally drive to Commack from Port Washington very often just to wait the 30 minutes to get my order . There system is actually very organized and it doesn't make the time feel like it's never moving from trying to order through the drive threw. The workers are super friendly and helpful. They answer your questions and I have never once received an order that wasn't correct . There original chicken sandwich is my favorite and it's always perfect . If your any where near Commack I would 100% recommend you stop here for lunch or dinner you won't regret it and if your getting fries do not forget to get an order of the cheese sauce to dip your fries on you will not regret it !!! read more

Very good chicken in all different way. This place is a mad house though, expect massive crowds and lines. But, we really enjoyed the food for a quick lunch.The peach iced tea is over sweetened but still nice, I just wish it was half the sweetness. They have a great variety of sauces here too. This is a free-standing Chick-fil-A restaurant which was a wonderful surprise after spending some time at the outlet malls down the street. They so pretty much everything that any other Chick-fil-A has a limited edition drink called a frosted sunrise. It tastes just like Orange Julius! So cool and refreshing I didn't even mind that I let go of my half and half for it (extra fee applies). The only problem that I had was I requested my sandwich without pickles and when I took the box out of the bag I could smell the pickles on it and there were extra. Other than that the visit was fine. Next time I will make sure to check my order before leaving the restaurant. read more

My wife and I just left the Chick-Fil-A restaurant on Commack rd in Commack NY at 2:10 pm on 10/17/22. A young man, Tyler I think, helped us with our order. He had the first register closest to the doors. He was smiling the whole time and made us feel very welcome. I watched him help other diners as we ate in the dining area. Love coming here with my boyfriend when we're in the mood for a cheat meal! Chic Fil-A is delicious!! I'm a huge fan!! Our go-to order is the spicy chicken deluxe meal with extra crispy waffle fries, and of course, tons of chic-fil-a sauce! Your sandwich is NOT complete if you don't add the chic-fil-a sauce! If you haven't tried it you absolutely need to! I also dip the waffle fries in the sauce because it is soooo delicious! Most of the time we also order a side salad (to feel better about the large amounts of fried food we're consuming) with Italian dressing. The salad comes with these delicious red pepper flake (I think) croutons that just make the salad even more delicious. Sometimes I even am tempted to get another spicy chicken sandwich to go because it is just that good. However, I haven't done this just yet because typically my eyes are bigger than my stomach. But it's just soooo tempting! The service here is very polite and they keep the restaurant clean which is great. Never again. Made the mistake of mobile order tonight and stood there for 50 minutes at the counter. Spoke to several employees who would avoid eye contact once I asked for help. Manager blamed staff shortage. Amazing how quick they take your money but are only slow when they need to fulfill an order. Its shameful making a customer wait this long. This place used to get my order right every time using the app. Now the last 4 times it's been wrong. This time they gave me 1 chicken nuggets and 1 chicken strips when I had ordered 2 chicken strips. The sauces are always wrong lately. They just don't care. Last gripe is the parfaits. Its quite nice to see how Chick-fil-a is expanding very well here on LI after its successful launch in Port Jeff back in 2015. I've only visited this location once so far but it was a nice and pleasant experience like most of the Chick-fil-a branches. The restaurant being only a few months old was kept in a pristine condition, they even have a play area for the kids although its outdoors and not really viable during the winter months. The wait wasn't bad although I do wish they could have opened up another registry as the two patrons in front of me were ordering pretty big orders and the lines were starting to queue up. However, the staff were all very friendly and patient definitely not your run of the mill fast food substandard customer service here. Since I was only ordering for two it was only about a few minutes of wait after ordering to get my food to go, very speedy service indeed. If you got a chance to try the food before its pretty much like the other locations, very delicious chicken that comes in nuggets or sandwiches. Although my experience with the grilled nuggets were more like meh I didn't see how they can be more expensive than the regular breaded version. Overall its an excellent addition to have another location in the area and I'm glad to see they did such a great job expanding while preserving the awesome food they're known for. read more

The spicy chicken sandwich deluxe was amazing. I went through the drive through and the line went a lot faster then I expected. Took 10 minutes with the line to the end of the parking lot to picking up my food which I was very surprised about. The drive through experience was mind boggling-ly friendly, clear and not slow. I think people smiled at us. What is this, Kansas! The chicken sandwich? Gosh, I hate to admit that it was really good. Grilled and juicy on a warm soft bun with colby jack cheese. Their sauces are also killer. I liked the honey mustard splashed upon my meat. There is so much more to try on the menu. Friday 6pm, the dining area is beyond packed, parking lot full, so I figured I'll go through the drive thru. Even with two ordering stations, the drive thru line wrapped around and it poker me 15 mins to get to the main window for the food. So the question is..is it worth the hype? Yes! My spicy chicken was succulent, juicy and generous in size: it outsizes the burger bun. The chik fil A sauce is hand delivered from God Himself. The waffle fries though are just average. Honorary mention: Customer service was remarkable, they call you by name, smile, eye contact, repeats the order back you to you. Review from a first time Chick-Fil-A goer! Everyone always raves about their chicken sandwiches, but I really didn't think it would live up to the hype. It does. 1:30pm on a Friday and the drive through was wrapped around and the line inside was pretty long too. The line moved fast though I was up at the counter in less than 10 mins. ALL of the workers are extremely courteous and all have smiles on, love that. Went with the deluxe meal with american cheese, waffle fries, and half unsweetened iced tea and lemonade as a drink. They give you whatever sauces you want to try which was nice. Sat down and waited maybe 5 mins (if that) for my food. They bring your order to you if you're dining in. The chicken sandwiches are nice and thick, super crispy and juicy! The bun was also great and very soft. My sandwich was actually dripping a little from how juicy it was (not dripping with grease). I got to try all of the sauces. The chick-fil-a sauce was my favorite and it tastes like a creamy BBQ sauce. Polynesian sauce was my least favorite very mild taste of just honey. Ranch, bbq, buffalo are good and taste familiar to most other sauces. Sweet and Spicy siracha reminded me of a chinese food like General Tsos. Waffle fries were crisp but still fluffy. Chicken is so tasty and juicy. The Mac and cheese is good especially for a fast food place. Milkshakes are delicious. I havent been to a drive thru yet but I went to an event and they had the chicken sandwiches there and it was really good. I have heard really great things about them but I haven't had the chance to go. Now that I have tried their chicken sandwiches I will definitely be going to the commack location. The only downside is I see the line for the drive thru is always crowded. I wonder when is the less crownded times. read more

Anyways, I went during breakfast so I got the Egg White Chicken English Muffin, 3 pc Chik'n Mini, Hash Browns and a drink. The food was dope and fresh and I was fortunate enough that there was nobody in the drive thru so I got my food in under 5 minutes from ordering. The service was excellent and I was greeted by a big smile at the window, I don't know her name or else I'd have shouted her out. I haven't been to Chick-fil-A in a long time but just recently started weight watchers and decided to go to try their grilled chicken nuggets as I heard they were zero points. I have to say, when I got home, I was a little disappointed to see how small the "chicken nuggets" really were. I got the 12 piece luckily but still felt that they were just small bites of chicken and not actually nuggets. Nevertheless, they had great flavor and the waffle fries were really good also. Well folks, I haven't seen so much excitement over a fast food restaurant since Kenny Rogers Roasters came to town here in Commack years ago. Now.. It's a Bank. USEFUL- The drive-thru here was packed and guaranteed quite a long wait. We found a parking spot in their lot and decided to go inside for our FIRST Chick-fil-A experience. As today was the 4th of July holiday, we were fortunate the lines were not out the door. The ordering process was simple and quick and we received our food in 7 minutes. FUNNY- As we sat down we discovered that this was a FAMILY kid friendly environment. Cool..! About a minute into my dining experience I noticed that the three children in the booth behind me were kicking and banging the back of my seat...Hello? The parents were not doing anything to supervise their kids, so we moved to a different table. We didn't realize that we had relocated ourselves right next to the children's playroom. I applaud the efforts it must have taken to soundproof this enclosure, every time the door opened... To Best describe the sound, it was just like passing a loaded school bus going home on Friday or possibly the elementary school yard at recess on the last day before summer. Our family-friendly dining experience included ..The numerous unaccompanied children that continued to race back and forth by our table, and a nice lady parked her triple stroller of toddlers right next to us as she was waiting to get in the playroom. My chick Burger was just okay It was served hot & cooked fresh, but there were only pickles on the sandwich. There were no onions available at all..the Bun was a touch stale. I can't see how the chicken sandwich here justifies all the hype and ridiculously long wait at times. I get an equally good chick sandwich at other fast food joints for half the price. And I'm gone in minutes. In summation folks, the service and staff here was EXCELLENT. We both thought the price point at $20 for the food was a bit pricey. I can eat better for Less elsewhere. What really is probably going to prevent another future dine in visit, was the Romper Room lunch time experience with more kids than adults here today.
