For our meals, I ordered the Down South Chicken Sandwich, and my girlfriend chose the Korean BBQ Chicken Sandwich. Both were excellent. We cut them in half so we could try each other's, and honestly, I loved both. The flavors, freshness, and quality really stood out. I had placed in my order through GrubHub, and I was pleasantly surprised to see it ready for me on the counter. Now here is where things take a turn towards disaster... I sip on this milkshake, and at first, I thought it tasted rancid. I asked my friend who also got himself a cookies and cream milkshake, and he also agreed with me: the shake tastes funny. So, I went up and told an employee, "Hey, I'm not sure if I am crazy, but this milkshake tastes rancid or funny or something". She then politely goes to investigate. She tastes some of the ice cream used for the milkshake and insists it tastes awesome. She then has her coworker give her a second opinion. That's when it hits them: the ice cream DOES taste different: they had put way too much French vanilla flavoring. They insist that the ice cream tastes even better and how it is to their liking. But now I'm sitting here with a nauseating French vanilla flavored milkshake and NOT my cookies and cream milkshake. To be honest, although they were blatantly calling me annoying when I wasn't even 11 feet away from them, their impoliteness didn't upset me. We all have to deal with "annoying customers", and I get the frustration. It's the fact that they KNEW they had messed up the ice cream and insisted that it was fine that I was drinking a product I did not want to pay for. I paid for a "Cookies and Cream" milkshake, not a "French Vanilla Overdose" milkshake. By the end of the whole ordeal, I was sipping on a cup of sadness and disappointment.
