She was extremely homophobic and even said she didn't want to take my order because of my sexuality. Hands down the best chick-fil-a experience I've ever had. My fiancé was so blessed today by the employees of this location. Not only were they kind as usual, but an employee offered a few moments to ask if she could pray for my fiancé and our soon to be son! It really did make her day to hear that a random employee would go out of their way to pray for someone they just met for a brief moment. Also, the salad she ordered looked so delicious! I don't know what's going on with the East Ridge store but I never thought a Chick-fil-A could let me down. The inside is often dirty. They almost never say my pleasure for anything they treat you like they're in a hurry and half the time my food is literally cold . This is especially true if I get grilled items it's like the warmer is not warm enough or they let it sit too long and I've had to throw things out. At times when I have eaten things from here I usually get an upset stomach!!! I will not go to this Chick-fil-A location. read more

So I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and Mac n cheese (of course) and normally the bag for the sandwich is nice and warm/hot. Well my bun was cold and the cheese was cold. The chicken was barely warm. So I politely tell the lady who took my order and she gave it to the lady who gave me my food. I'm standing in front of the counter and the lady is over here rolling her eyes, being rude and talking about me saying "Oh well the customer said it wasn't WARM enough" with the nastiest attitude I have ever heard from an employee. Is the East Ridge Chick-Fil-A the purgatory where Chick-Fil-A sends all the bad employees? I didn't think it possible that there was a CFA that had subpar service and lackluster employees but if you don't believe it, go here. I had placed a curbside order and drove the six miles over there to get it. Everything was fine until I returned home and we discovered they left out a CFA sandwich and messed up an ice tea with an ice tea, lemonade combo. So I called them and they told me to come back and they'd give it to me free. Free? I already paid for it! They asked what my name was as well. Needless to say, I was not pleased because it meant another 12-mile round trip. Once I got back to the CFA a young fellow ask if he could help me and I told him what happened. He went a mumbled something to someone else, who came over and asked what time I'd been there. I showed them my order on the phone and told them about 20 minutes ago. They threw a sandwich in a bag, poured another tea, gave a half-hearted sorry and walked away. That's all I got for a 24 mile, two trip excursion, which was no fault of my own, for a chicken sandwich that I got to eat with cold fries and by myself since my family already had theirs. I have no idea why they asked for my name. It never came up. Maybe I got put on a blackball list for having the nerve to complain about my messed up order. read more

I didn't think it was possible to have a bad experience at a Chick-Fil-A, but this one proved me wrong. I was looking forward to trying the new location, and had my rewards card from the calendar purchase, plus I had just uploaded the app. A sign on the door said that free chicken nuggets would be given to anyone who had just signed up. I asked the cashier about that, and she had no idea of how the app worked - so she called someone else over to ask her. I was told the app was currently down, but I could get the free nuggets next time. OK, fine. So I ordered an entree only, since the monthly free calendar offer was fries and a drink. The cashier told me my total, which was approximately twice what it should have been. I asked her why it was that high, since the fries and drink were free; she assured me that I would only be charged for the one item. I looked at my receipt - WRONG! She called over the other person (a manager?) again; who, when she finally came over, had to process a refund, as apparently I had been charged for some nuggets which I hadn't ordered. Meanwhile, my hot food was growing cold while they tried to figure out what to do. I finally sat down to my now lukewarm meal and took a sip of my unsweetened tea....only to find I had been given sweet tea. I had wait for yet another mistake to be rectified, as my meal continued to grow even colder. I didn't bother asking for a refill on my drink when I left, as who knows what I'd get? BTW, never once did I hear any of the employees use the signature Chick-Fil-A comment: "My pleasure." Add a very loud noise level to the incompetence of the staff, and the entire experience was most unpleasant. It says a lot about a restaurant when you can't wait to get home and have something GOOD to eat! Will I eat at Chick-Fil-A again? Absolutely! First, they come take your order in the long line, which seems nice, except you can't look at the menu and they don't bring one with them. I guess you have to have it pre-memorized and tell them what you want. They shuttle you through the line quickly, but it's all a ruse- when you finally get to the window to get your food, SURPRISE, it's not ready, so then you have to pull around and wait for it on the other side of the building. When they bring it to you, undoubtedly there will be no sauce so you will have to go in and get it. Overall, I'm dissatisfied and hungry because in panic I ordered the only thing I could think of which wasn't enough. read more
