I just have to shout out Daren for his incredible help today. He was the ONLY team member who truly assisted me when I was in a medical emergency in the drive-thru. I needed ice urgently, and unfortunately, the two young ladies taking orders told me they couldn't help. Then, at the pick-up window, another gentleman gave me two cups of ice but told me they didn't have any plastic bags. When I suggested using salad bags, he mumbled something about only having "paper bags," which I knew wasn't true. Desperate, I went to order a bag of ice on the app and returned through the drive-thru. That's when I met Daren. By this point, I was in tears from pain, and he immediately helped me by providing a bag of ice. I asked if I could have an empty one too, and without hesitation, he went to get me the plastic bag I had been told didn't exist. Daren truly went above and beyond, and I'm so grateful for his compassion and professionalism. Before I drove off, he even said, "I pray you feel better and have a blessed day." I can't express enough how much his kindness meant to me. If I could get the names of the other team members who couldn't help, I would, but honestly, Daren is the real hero here. Thank you, Daren, for showing exceptional customer service and integrity, even when the request was unusual. You made a difficult day so much more bearable. I received the bowl with only Grilled chicken and cheese, I drove all the way to work to see the mistake called was asked to return from Bladensburg 35 minute round trip. I placed an order online and went to the store to pick up my order after 20 minutes. It took a while to be greeted; after a while s lady asked me the purpose of waiting and asked my name. She checked and found that the order is not ready and she said "I don't see your name here". She was identified as a manager named "L***na". She denied a proper eye contact and she presented an unpleasant body language to me in front of other customers. Worst drive thru experience! Saturday 10:20am. Mobile order breakfast. Get in mobile order line and scan at 10:31. App notice says you CANCELED our order because breakfast was over! Line not moving so we order frosted coffees only. Line not moving for 10 min! Only 4 cars in front. 2 behind us gets food delivered after 10 min! We finally drive up and employees don't seem to know what is going on or what to do next. I yell out what our order is, thinking that shouldn't take this long to make. Cars are just leaving the line out of frustration because not being served. A guy, seems to be a manager but a with a deer in the headlights look! Why does this location have 2 drive thru lanes yet one is designated for "mobile drive thru"??? It's the wildest thing I've ever seen. The one line (regular drive thru) is always out of the parking lot down the street which makes everyone going through the lane wait twice as long. Silly and poor business decision. And secondly. Finally my dad went inside and they say they can't find our order. We could have made them make it by why wait for that poor service. Y'all have to get your drive thru figured out. That mobile pick up line is a hot mess. Worst experience I've had at a Chick-fil-A.

There are 4 Chick-fil-As in the Bowie, Maryland area but I used to like this one the best. I will never go back. It took us 20 minutes to get to the order window at 2 pm on a Friday when the line was not that long. The young people are nice and polite but the management needs to help. Then I am told if I want 2 packs of the tiny bit of salad dressing then it is an additional $0.50 per package. That is ridiculous. The salads are not cheep for fast food salads and the dressing packages are small. I could see charging if I asked for 4 packages per salad but asking for another package does not seem excessive. I will opt to visit another place rather than ever go back to this Chick-fil-A. So disappointing. read more

Chick-fil-a is always delicious, but the mobile order drive through is a mess at this location and the service was not what it usually is for this company. If you come here, I'd only use the normal drive through. I did mobile order because I was in a hurry and it probably took at least 4x longer than if I had just gone through the drive through and paid on site. The two cars behind me got their food, and I was still waiting. No one would acknowledge my presence for me to ask if there was an issue (it was not busy- lots of employees standing around), and the way the line is set up, I was blocking the people behind me who already got their food from leaving, so I finally parked and went inside and waited in line again to get the food. Took about 30 minutes from start to finish. Employees did not act apologetic when I mentioned what had happened to them. I would try to avoid this location in the future. read more

The service was exceptional, the employees clearly take pride in their appearance, civility, and hospitality. When I order 3 strip meal I get 3 nice size strip, order the 4 and it is more like 3 1/2 (you will get a small short strip). Losing hope In this location honestly. This one used to be the place to go for that breakfast run and last call on Saturday nights. It's not perfect but they set the bar pretty high. Recently though, this location has been missing the mark consistently. I've had very long wait times and have actually had to let them know what I ordered. I've had consistent orders with items missing or incorrect items. I've seen times where behind the counter was disorganized. My family members have complained about the same issues. Today for example they botched my breakfast order and again it's been consistent. I don't know whether is the management or that employees aren't adequately prepared for the volume of customers (which hasn't been a real problem until the last four or five months) but this location has gotten consistently inconsistent. I'm seriously thinking about ditching this location and going further up to another. 10/12/2019 update Yeah, never again will I do their mobile order. This isn't the first time I been there waiting for my food and everyone gets their food before I do. 20 minutes (I know but I try to be polite because they are busy) but the part that irritated me was there was no haste in tracking my order and they were like did you put it in at another location/ our system misplaced your order. I loved this location but not Im reevaluating my loyalty. If you're planning to go to this location just do the walk in. It's more efficient and more effective...well it used to be. read more

It's a shame to do this because this has always been my go to location. The food is always fresh and I have never had an issue with customer service. There was a young lady today in the drive through with the nastiest attitude. The line was very long and I understand them working their hardest to have their food ready to keep the line going. I was in the drive thru line today and ordered my food and waited around the corner. I saw them put a bag and drink on the outside of the window as cars were coming through. I came up to the window and the lady tried to give me the bag of food that had been sitting outside of the window, after several people came and went past it, in a pandemic. I requested a bag of food that had not been sitting outside in the elements. She kept saying that she just put it out there, which was a lie because I saw it sitting outside the window. I told her that I saw the bag and sandwich just sitting out there and would like a new one. She gave me the nastiest eye roll and grabbed who I guess was the manager and said "Get her, I can't deal with her." And whispered something else to the "manager". That's fine ma'am.. I'll drive a little further and go to the one and Gambrills from this point on. It's a shame we continually have to go over the county line to be treated decently. I got a new bag of food and a drink. I watched them make the food - did not trust the drink as she handed me my new one. Sometimes I feel like chick fi la can rush with the breading of the chicken and it doesn't get coated properly. The inside is closed right now due to construction. TRY A DIFFERENT LOCATION. The food is NOT FRESH here like other locations. The chicken tenders and nuggets are always DRY and NOT SEASONED well, and overcooked often. It just doesn't taste like other locations. I recommend The Marketplace location or the Vista Gardens location. I try my best to avoid this location despite it being the closest to my home. My favorite fast food restaurant! I love the food and concept of Chick-fil-A! From the yummy chicken salad sandwich (with tomato of course) to the consistently tasty waffle fries, this chain does fast food right. My favs are the chicken salad sandwich of course, chicken sandwich (fried) with lettuce and tomato on a wheat bun, chicken nuggets (not strips lol) with chick-fil-a sauce, cookies 'n cream shake (small of course), the cookies are to die for, the SWEET tea (although the lemonade is tasty too), and their salads and waffle fries! Ok, I love everything on the menu! As for service, this location usually has friendly and courteous staff. I've only had 1 or 2 not so friendly encounters with the staff. read more

I work down the street from this location so my coworkers and I often opt for Chick-fil-a either for breakfast or lunch. Food is good... when they actually give you what you ordered :) which unfortunately is not often at all. Cashier got my order wrong and they weren't able to send me the right order ( lunch break was over by then) and I couldn't go back. Sent an employee down there to pick up my fixed order and it was wrong yet again. So now I am hungry and pissed. They could not deliver the remade order due to their system to pay the drivers so I made my way there after work and Sam made my order correctly and gave me my next meal on the house. Went there to get my breakfast this morning ( wouldn't allow me to order for delivery on the app) and use my free meal to make up for them messing up my order so many times and guess what... they messed that order up to. Anyways this chick fil a is not good I've never had this many problems anywhere else and it's such an inconvenience. The free meal next time is appreciated but I keep wasting my time going to get food only to be disappointed everytime I open the bag. Should've learned my lesson and checked the bag before I left the establishment but I asked the guy who handed me my order what was in the bag ( because I heard him say something about bacon egg n cheese which is not what I had, and he just put the receipt up in front of me so I could read the order instead of using his words to tell me that what he just said out of his mouth did in fact not match up with what the receipt says.
