The place was great!! they were super busy which is usually a problem..BUT! We got our order in quickly. They were very professional and nice! No mistakes or struggles from what I saw. The staff seemed like they were borrowed from a high class sit down restaurant. Despite being busy AF they STILL kept track of what I ordered and brought my food to my table. Generally, I love Chic-Fil-A, however, this location is the exception. The food was like any other location. No big surprise. What did take me for a loop was when I tired to refill my soda to lemonade. I was told I would have to buy another drink due to the 20 cent difference between a soda and lemonade. I was taken aback buy this policy. At the normal location i visit this is not a problem. At the Ammon location it is a problem...a major problem!!! Upon leaving the location I thought to myself the Manager and employee could have handled the situation differently. They could've offered to refill the drink, but asked me instead to pay the 20 cent difference. Or, refilled the drink and reminded me this is a one time exception. Neither choice happened.I wouldn't have minded either option... it is only fair. I guess costumer service is blind at this location. All of the "my pleasure" and "niceness" is foreshadowed by profit. You'll love this one. Not only will you get the great food that you would expect from Chick-fil-A, you will also get great service. After our lunch, my wife threw away her retainer that she had set on the food tray. She came to this realization a few minutes after we had left the restaurant. She immediately called the restaurant and they agreed to empty the trashcan and set it aside. After we returned to the restaurant, my wife and I and two employees, wearing gloves, search through the offending trash bag and located the retainer. After a quick trip to the dentist to have the retainer cleaned and sanitized, it is now back in its proper location, my wife's mouth. Thank you Chick-fil-A for going above and beyond and helping us locate my wife's retainer and saving us hundreds of dollars. read more

My best fast food experience ever. It was my first time at Chock-fil-A and I didn't know how things worked here. The shift leader (Im guessing, manager) were super nice and patience with me and my dad who was craving fry chickens. We paid and they told us to wait at the table and they would bring to us, this girl named Leni brought our food and we tried to tip her, she said she couldn't take the tips and gave me back, after that she came check on us like 2 times, offered me a refil and brought me. I've always loved this specific Chick-fil-A until today. We have gone through this drive thru many times where they have messed up our order 3x in a row but they were always so helpful so we didn't have any complaints. I had enough after today. I've never had a Chick-fil-A employee argue with me about messing up on my order. I ordered a large drink (which I always order). The person who confirms the order and provides a receipt, mentioned that I got a medium drink and I corrected her that I got a large. She specifically said, "uh no, you told the person who took your order that you want a medium." I said "no, I got a large." I said this about three times and she kept trying to convince me that I got a medium. Before I could get my order she made me pay 25 cents to get the large drink. So I had to use my card which during COVID, who has change or cash anymore considering most places do not take cash anymore. When I drove up to get my food, they came out with a medium drink. I told the guy what I ordered. He says, "ok well this drink will be on us." I said, "well I just paid 25 cents to make sure I get what I ordered in the first place which was a large." He kept saying that the drink is on them and didn't care to listen what had happened and literally grabbed the medium drink from my hand and took it back with him. I'm only giving one star for the food which is always great! read more

This is the only 'fast-food' I will feed my family. The food is really good, but their staff is always AWESOME! No matter how busy they are, they are always smiling, more than willing to help you, and they bring out your food. I love this organization. Their play-place is always spotless, and they are always having fun events for kids. Ask for their 'Chick-Fil-A' sauce and put it on their sandwiches; it makes them even better! We all know the food is amazing but I'm always so impressed with the customer service! One time we apparently waited awhile for our food (even though we didn't think so) so they gave all of us a free meal to come back! Another time I was in the drive thru and I could not find my card anywhere, I was so embarrassed and they were so kind and generous and gave me my food for free and wished me luck in finding my card. I was so grateful that they made an embarrassing situation into not a big deal. I love the cookies and cream shake, waffle fries, spicy chicken, and lemonade! Only complaint is that I am so sad they got rid of the Asian chicken salad since it was my favorite. read more

I normally love chick fil a. Today I went through the drive through. the man who took my order was nice as well as the man who handed me my receipt. But when I got my food from the guy at the window who has short brown hair and glasses, I asked for one extra chick fil a sauce and the guy responded with attitude and I was told next time I have to ask the other people for it or I won't get it. Surprised to say that I got food poisoning here! My family and I have eaten here several times, have had good customer service, food is decent, but this last time I ate I had the new BBQ chicken sandwich and have been sick for 2 and a half days. I'm not sure if I will ever have the appetite to eat here again, considering that fast food can always be a hit or miss. I got the basic fried chicken sandwich meal with the waffle fries and a drink. $6.50, Which is good I think. The sandwich comes with nothing on it but two pickles, no mayo, lettuce, tomato, all which would have made it better. They did ask if I wanted sauce and I got sweet and sour siracha, however you spell it. When I tasted it I did not like it. The waffle fries are good, better than regular fries I think. My overall impression is eeehhh, I have had better chicken sandwiches elsewhere, but it is ok I still do not understand the concept of a fast food place that only serves chicken. read more

I thought it would be a great idea to take advantage of the buy one get one free shakes tonight, but what a waste of time. We got to the window at the drive-thru in no time at all after ordering two shakes. We paid and then an associate asked us if we could wait in the parking lot due to the high volume. "No problem" we said. A half an hour later no shakes. When I went in to get my money back I heard excuses like there are a lot of people ordering shakes, and we are understaffed. I realize that on special deals like this there will be a lot of people and some wait, however if they really took us one by one we would have gotten our shakes. We've never had a bad experience at this location. Yes, the line can be long, but that's only because everyone else loves this place too! The first time we came here (about 3 years ago) my daughter dropped her milkshake while getting into our truck and it busted open, spilling all over the carpets and dripping out onto the parking lot ground... well an employee on her break saw this and rushed inside and then returned with a rag and napkins and proceeded to clean the mess INSIDE OUR TRUCK while apologizing that that had happened. We told her she did not have to clean the mess, that we could (and should!) clean it up ourselves, but she insisted on helping out. So she might have been the most friendly and helpful employee anywhere ever in the history of food lol... Every time we go to this location the employees are friendly and our order is accurate. I also love that they do so many family-oriented events here. (My daughter loves the annual daddy-daughter date night!) We will definitely keep coming here for as long as we live in the area! read more

I'm originally from Georgia so I've had my fair share of chic-fil-a. I just figured I would come on and give a review because this particular Chicfila is like non other I've been too. I'm speaking in terms of the service. Generally Chicfila tries to differntiate themselves from the fast food scene nutritionally. Apart from everything being chicken they fry any of their fried foods in peanut oil. Granted its not the healthiest food in the world but its like Jenny Craig compared to McDonalds and Burger King, but I digress. The service here is amazing. It's better than most service I have at sit downs. I think it's because the franchise owner knows that he needs to make a positive impression with the Idaho Falls Chicfila being that it's the only one in Eastern Idaho if I'm not mistaken. I've had several friends that have worked there and they all say they really emphasis the importance of customer satisfaction. Basically if you're looking for a quick, moderately healthy food, and great customer service this is a good place to go. I hope this helps. read more
