A safe bet. Lots of good here. Expect the usual Chick-Fil-A excellence. The staff are kind; the food is delicious; the customer service is fantastic. The owner does a lot for and with the community... a lot. Working with local churches for VBSs and other programs, giving away coupons at schools, all kinds of great stuff. Their playground is recently re-opened, and it's a nice one. As with many Chick-Fil-As, it is usually wicked busy, so be ready for a wait either in-person or in the drive-through. The parking lot is oddly designed, probably because it wasn't meant to handle the volume it does. You have to loop around the entire building once to get to the drive-through (it'll make more sense once you've done it), and the unit doesn't have its own driveway; you either have to drive through the Starbucks entrance or the Walgreens entrance to get to it. Not a big deal, but getting in and out of there isn't a simple, easy turn. The bathrooms sometimes are poorly stocked or kept, especially late at night, at peak hours, or early in the morning (probably because the night crew didn't get to it). When I arrived at the time I requested to have them done, I was told they hadn't even started making them. I waited an HOUR for my order and was then late for the event. This Chick-fil-A has always been good to us. Sure there has been the occasional slow order pickup time or congestion in the drive thru, but that comes with success and doing a good job. Orders have always been correct, fries rarely cold (my wife is the official judge of that needing them hotter than the sun's surface), and if they were cold, replaced. Okay enough on the fries. Once there was a time we waited in the order pickup line for 5 mins and our order didn't come. I checked inside and guess what--it was user-order-error on our part. Another time we waited to order 5 seconds from the lot, right at lunch time. Guess what: the order took a few mins. But come on people, let's not write about slow wait times at 7pm Valentine's Day, or long lines on Mother's Day, or they went to someplace that was closed on Christmas and they really had a hankering for that food that day, or brunch on South Beach on Easter was 1) expensive and 2) crowded. This location will get even more crowded in coming months with the former bank next door becoming another restaurant. But I'll continue to return and get consistently good friendly happy nice welcoming service from these folks at this Mars Hill location. I visited this location on 4/20/24 around 0610, prior to coaching an all day tournament in Jonesboro. I got to the event, took out my food and this is what my English muffin looked like. Why would anyone serve this EXTREMELY burnt English muffin to anyone??? I was furious as I was hungry and could not leave to go get more food. I eat my food together, so I didn't even open the hashbrowns. I called the restaurant and Lauren offered for me to come back in or she could give me the number to Chic Fil A cares. I called, but they weren't open. I called the restaurant back and the older manager told me that sometimes the grill burns the food. I didn't respond. Then she said that wasn't an excuse and they must have missed it. There's no way that anyone didn't see this burnt muffin! She offered to give my information to someone to put enough points to cover the Egg white grill on the app for redemption. I said that they needed to cover the entire combo. Honestly, they should have covered my entire check including my chicken biscuit meal because I didn't have any food until 6 hours later. I'm not sure if the points are on there or not. As per usual with CFA, this place is very busy, quick, friendly and clean. They always have high quality fast food, with friendly service. Even the busiest CFA will get you in & out faster than other fast food locations with 1/2 the customers and a 1/4 of the customer service. This place needs to hire some adults. I was asked to pick up a mobile order from here on the way to a birthday party. We were running slightly late. I figured the order would be ready when we arrived. It wasn't. I spoke with two associated at a register. They informed me they'd get the order started. They didn't. Then for 30 minutes I waited, hovering around the counter and register. I thought maybe it was taking a while because it was a lot of nuggets and they were a little busy. But they were no busier than any other Chick-fil-A on a typical day. Eventually a young guy who I presume is a manger came up to me and asked if I needed help. I explained the situation. He figured things out and let me know their computer systems are ridiculous and that a person at the register is required to print a receipt and bring it to the kitchen if someone came in to pick up what was originally placed as a mobile drive-thru order. He proceeded to rush to get our food ready, but did absolutely nothing else for us. We waited 40 minutes for an order they were able to put together (it was just nuggets) in a short few minutes. TLDR: This is the worst-run Chick-fil-A Ive ever visited. None of the usual overly-helpful smiles and rapid accurate service. Just kids who will keep seeing a customer waiting for an eternity ignoring them. And if they screw up, management will give you convoluted reasons for the failure and do nothing for you. read more

Has nothing to do with the people (they're always great). but the audio speaker for the drive thru (inside lane) needs to be fixed. repeated order caused a miscommunication error resulting in me receiving the "wrong" items. I waited in line for 20mins where the line was wrapped around the entire building where people couldn't even get out and even with two car lines it was still crazy wait time . When I finally get to where they can take my order for breakfast they couldn't bc it was over by 2 mins I waited in the car line for 20 mins for freaking nothing: They either need to get more people outside to take the orders or extend there breakfast longer because it's absolutely ridiculous to wait in line for that long and not get what you wanted bc it ended by 2mins. This is the worst Chick-fil-A. We live around the corner and would rather drive to the location on Cobb Pkwy. They always are behind on one item on our order and then offer a free chicken sandwich card for the inconvenience. They bring the meal, and everything but the item we are waiting for is cold. Not warm, cold. The staff always looks like a deer in the headlights. There doesn't seem to be any leadership leading the bunch. This is one of the worst Chick-fil-A's. It's always very slow, the employees aren't "typical Chick-fil-A employees", and the food isn't great. I never get my sauces I ask for. Extremely poor design of their parking lot. I am disabled and have a handicap parking permit. Due to the design, you have to wait in the drive-thru line to get to the three handicap parking spots. Once you leave, you are at the mercy of those waiting in the drive-they line to let you back out. You then have to join the line as they have barriers to keep you in line. So I had a Chicfila craving... And it really didn't get satisfied! The owners of this location also has a store on 41. Where I first stopped, but as I approached the counter to order there was just a foul smell coming from the cooking area (like a decomposing animal or a sewage problem) so I left and head over to this location I am really reviewing. The amount of employees working perfect, although they're dumber than a box of rocks with absolutely no personality! And the blonde curly hair gal (maybe a mgr) has a tude. Anyways sitting here tired and hungry ready to enjoy some CFA... NOT really! I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich combo. First off the fries were oldish and had a distinctive taste of burnt oil that wasn't hot enough! Chewy fries... Huh? Now my sandwich - this and the 41 locations are the only 2 CFA's I've been to that turn the grilled chicken sandwich into chicken jerky with a side of char. Both of these locations rarely clean the press they cook the sandwiches with. Maybe in the future I might give either located another try, but for now I will just go to other locations to get my Juicy Grill Chicken sandwich with out the side of grill! I come here often and it's a typical CFA experience! Staff are always nice, food is almost always fast and hot! No complaints whatsoever. Today I came through the drive through around 12:00 and it was pouring rain outside. I just wanted to applaud the two employees outside taking orders on their IPads in the rain. It looks like they were supposed to have tent set up but weren't able to get it up in time or something. To the two girls outside taking orders, you are both fantastic employees and deserve the best! The one girl who took my order (Ansley is what it said on my ticket) seemed like she was freezing cold and miserable yet still kept it together to do a fantastic job helping me through my order! As a fast food worker myself I know how difficult it can be some days, especially out in the pouring rain so good job to all the staff at this Chick Fil A! Keep it up!
