Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of my expectations. The fish sandwich was somewhat oily, and the coleslaw had a tangier flavor profile than I personally prefer. While the chicken had some enjoyable flavor, the seasoning and coating appeared to vary between pieces. The texture was also different from what I anticipated, as it was quite tender and fell apart easily, and the coating slid off giving it a texture that seemed more similar to roasted than traditionally fried chicken. The seafood basket also presented a few concerns. The shrimp seemed slightly overcooked, and the cod did not taste as fresh as I had hoped. In addition, the honey butter rolls did not seem to be at their freshest, as the texture was somewhat firm. Definitely frozen! I think it's safe to conclude that the rolls are store bought dinner rolls that are simply tossed in the oven for a few minutes and brushed with butter. I understand that experiences can vary, and it's possible that dine-in service differs from takeout. However, based on this particular order, and the price I would likely consider other options before ordering from this location again.

Their secret sauce is delicious; it's like mayochup mixed with BBQ sauce. The chicken was juicy and seasoned just right, and the Hot Mozz was amazing. My order was taken and I got it within 10 minutes or so. When I got home the first thing I had was the gyro, which wasn't bad! The lamb was flavored a bit differently than I'm used to, but the texture and everything else was good. With the name, I was expecting the wings to be... golden, and they weren't at all. Previously, you could only order online through their site or app -- but now you can order in person on a tablet! But you will have to wait around... there's an arcade cabinet you can play. Anyways, I love their chicken wings and their chicken sandwiches. And it's such a win that they have plant-based wings too, and they give a disclaimer about which sauces aren't vegan. That was weird, however I was able to tell the Employee via word of mouth and he added it. The store was nice and clean, didn't have that typical old grease smell that most Royal Farms have. I made my way over to the lottery vending machine and got what I needed. I began to see the line at the register begin to back up, which I've never seen at a Royal Farms. The system had just went down and no one could purchase anything. My tickets had already printed out from the machine so I was good to go. I left the store and went around back to use the air pump. "SURPRISE SURPRISE" someone broke it already! Why can't we ever have anything nice IN PG County. This is actually a good gas station/store. I hope it doesn't get corrupted.

Both sauces hit but I think the lemon garlic was my top. Add to it, the customer service was great. Seemed family run. There was a young man and an older gentleman at the register. Both were helpful and welcoming and seemed to have a familial respect for each other which was also awesome to see. I'll definitely return.
