Since moving to Austin from Miami I've been missing Cuban food. I stumbled on this place and decided to try it out. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and croquetas. Place is very nice, clean good service. You order at the counter and they tell you which table to go to and bring your food shortly after. The Cuban sandwich was good. Only difference is that it didn't seem to be Cuban bread but delicious nonetheless. The croquetas were also delicious. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and just as delicious as some of the ones in Miami. Looking forward to coming back especially when I'm home sick to try some of their other dishes.

I'm so glad I found this place! The music, customer service, ambiance, and the food! Omg the food is great! There are so many more things I want to try here. Pastelitos, flan, cubano! I want to try everything on the menu. This time, I came with coworkers, and we tried the cubano and ropa vieja with fries and with plantains, and I ordered tostones rellenos to try. As soon as I had the first bite, it just took me back in memory lane thinking of food I grew up eating. The flavors are right on the spot. The place is clean and well kept. It's a small place but such a gem. I have to come back for a pastel con un cortadito.

Authentic Cuban sandwiches! Yum! Fries were ok. Nothing special. Very clean atmosphere and restrooms. Service was great too! Will go back if in area.

    Cuban coffee with sugar.

The Cuban Sandwich, beef empanadas and Cuban coffee are flavorful and you'll enjoy each bite and sip! Friendly staff and clean restaurant! I'll be back soon! Happy hour M-F from 4-6!

Cuban sandwich and a Coke. Simple and great!

I lived in Miami, Florida so have some experience with authentic Cuban cuisine. This was my first time at Chichos, but it won't be my last. Went with the traditional Cuban Sandwich for lunch. The highlight of my day. Go to Chichos.

Eaten here several times. Everything I had so far is great! Service is excellent! Come over here and try their Cuban food. Menu is from 12/27/24.

OMG. I don't know how we missed this Cuban restaurant. Stopped by on a Saturday at lunch. It was hopping. Our order was cafe con leche, a cuban sandwich and tostones. Everything was super delicious. The Cafe con Leche was the best I have had in a long time. The restaurant is clean and super cute. Good service The restaurant is next to Ashley Furniture in Pflugerville.

Absolutely delicious and authentic Cuban food! We randomly stumbled upon this gem and were surprised it wasn't busier. We ordered the Beef Empanadas, Cuban Sandwiches, a Mamey Smoothie, and Sweet and Green Plantains which were all super yummy. The service was extremely nice and bilingual. There is outside and inside seating available. We are planning to go back this week and will most likely become regulars here.

Nice intimate space with a few games and seating. I ordered the King Cake roll in honor of Mardi Gras. This roll is only there for a limited time. It was filled with cream cheese and topped with sugar sprinkles. Served nice and warm and literally melts in your mouth. I will say there was a bit too much cream cheese for my liking but I navigated around it. The roll is a decent sized and the fact that I nearly ate it all in one day lets you know how good it was.

It seems like they position their rolls more as a dessert, which isn't a dealbreaker. We came back later that afternoon after some meetings. The shop itself is simple and cute, with a wide variety of rolls to choose from. Honestly, it's hard not to want one of everything. We ended up ordering six, and I have to say, the rolls were delicious. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. We were greeted, but it felt cold and unwelcoming. After that, we were mostly ignored and ended up ordering through the touchscreen. There was a sign suggesting customers "ask about the secret menu," so I did. Instead of responding, she silently placed a paper on the counter and moved on. The interaction felt dismissive, like we were more of an inconvenience than paying customers. It's disappointing because the rolls really were great, but the service left a bad impression. They really live up to the name CRANKY granny's! As much as we enjoyed the food, the overall experience makes it hard to justify coming back.

It honestly feels like you've stepped into a fairytale -- the flowers, the decor, the atmosphere. Just being here instantly lifts your mood. On top of that, the matcha and desserts are truly excellent. The desserts are especially impressive: not overly sweet, very balanced, with a delicate, soft texture. Everything comes together perfectly here: the interior, the drinks, and the desserts they serve. This is one of those places where the whole experience feels thoughtful and harmonious. I'm definitely becoming a regular.

It was my first time at this location…read morebut I looked the location up prior to arrival like any good Yelper to determine what the 'vibe' was. Based upon reviews and research, I deduced this was a place that required those who visit to order at a kiosk to get their goodies. Side note: I have noticed that many Bobba and fast casual places have reverted to this model; where customers order and pay themselves without the interaction of an employee and then wait for their food. The main difference here and other places that have similar self service is that this place provides customers with a plethora of Instagramable/ FOMO opportunities. My partner elected to order an oreo marshmallow frappe. This frappe was rich and decadent and included silky chocolate interwoven with oreo crumbles. This frappe tasted exactly like a 'fluffy' oreo; just devine. On the other hand, I ordered the creme brulee souffle pancake. For those who have not yet had the opportunity to try this Japanese delight, the name is what it implies; a creamy stack of pancakes with crunchy bitter caramel, and silky vanilla custard. This dessert happened to be accompanied by a dollop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. These pancakes melted in my mouth and each bite was just as good as the one that preceded it. Aside from the great desserts as mentioned above, there are far too many instagrammable opportunities in this place (*truly a foodie and Yelp Elites dream).

The cookies were delivered the same day, and the driver even called to let me know that he'd hit traffic and would be 5-10 minutes outside the delivery window. I wish companies like the cable company could be that conscientious! The cookies came in two nice, sturdy kraft brown boxes, and were tied with yarn bows and tags, so they'd make a great delivery to a client or as a gift. CookieCrowd also ships via Priority Mail (we did local delivery). The cookies: HOLY CATS. They are big. They are perfectly soft with a bit of a crispy exterior, just PERFECT. The flavors were fantastic. Carlos was a wicked dark chocolate espresso - not too sweet. Chip was the classic chocolate chip - better by far than the local competitor (who I will not name, you know who I mean). The only way these could be better, in my mind, would be a light dusting of sea salt. Patty - white chocolate and peppermint - was profoundly delicious - better than I could have expected!! And Scout? Oh Scout, how I love you. A S'more cookie with a perfectly toasted marshmallow on top, Scout made me want to weep with joy. As an office treat, these were a HUGE hit! I can't recommend this local business enough!

The ambiance is upbeat. Playing top 40 type of music, folks are dressed comfortably, and the tables are a bit too close together but can easily to accommodate larger groups. Chicken and waffles. Had this one first. It served more like a main meal. Chicken was juicy, a bit more breading than expected but was easy to take it off. It was served with syrup and some sort of mayo/thousand island type mix. Grilled cheese & bisque. Had this one next. Should've been first because it had more of an appy feel. Waffles were nice and crispy, cheese was perfectly melted. I used the bisque for dipping but the also provided a spoon in case you want to continue on with it. Banana Love. Saved this one a dessert. The Nutella was pretty thick and a bit overpowering. The whipped cream was really good and banana looked and tasted fresh. Overall, very good and will eventually eat my way through the menu. The menu also offers sandwich type meals where the waffle acts as the bun. Those seem good for a real lunch.

Unfortunately the griddle or pan the eggs were cooked on wasn't cleaned nor seasoned properly bc he took one bite and instantly noticed a "metal flavor" only for us to flip both eggs over and can physically see metal color covering the bottom of both eggs. I was patient until my niece was getting antsy, she finished her pastry, we both finished our mediocre coffees, still no toast... I checked and the Apple Pay time stamp went through more than 30 minutes prior. I asked staff if our toast was still coming and they replied rudely like I was being a jerk to even ask. Pagers for food when they went off were obnoxious beeping. Just give people a table number and carry it out to them. Maybe they have one little toaster and person in the back? That said once the food came, the tofu was DELICIOUS, and a large portion. We could have split it. Croissant was unimpressive as was their chocolate croissant. Macarons were tasty, but not with the signature chew that ones made with egg whites would have. $$ Two plain lattes, two lemon toasts, a chocolate croissant and 6 macarons with a $5 tip was $88.
