And to top it all she added auto gratuity of 20% when their menu clearly states auto gratuity for 6 for more people and when questioned she told the hostess who was also the manger that she just did that as she just did that. She didn't ask her how we wanted the bill split just got the bill with entitld 20% gratuity for being the a&$ she was . Dropping 250$ and getting this kind of food and service , the will be our last visit . Ambience is good . Pbbly brunch is not the right time as we had a nice dinner visit in the past .

One thing you'll notice is that the place is quite loud, I think which owes to the low ceilings (so don't expect like a quiet and romantic vibe). The meal started out great with the bread and butter - bread was sourced from Magnol, which was a huge green flag to start. The oysters were extremely fresh and absolutely delicious. We also had a dish with tuna over crispy rice which was my fiancee's favorite of the night. My personal favorite was the salad (I know that is crazy to say at a restaurant that specializes in live fire cooking) - but the way they zested all different types of citrus/lemons, peppers, chiles, and the way the herbs they put into it, created what was one of the most memorable salads I have ever had. All in all the food was excellent. Service was great (the night we were there, Max Lappe was there sending out food to customers himself). I do kind of wish the atmosphere was a little more quiet. With that said, expect to spend around $200pp (we did share a bottle of wine though).

I'm not sure. The website offered reservations even later, and others walked in after us. Who knows... Besides that, the food was ok. The appetizer empanadas and calamari were ok. Nothing to want to have again, I've had better. The lamb ossobuco with polenta was tasty and a big portion. My husband's beef brochettes weren't cooked to his liking. The rice that came with it was delicious. Good wine pairing for both entrees. Figs and mascarpone dessert was not to my liking. The mascarpone was heavy on the lemon. It took over the whole palate. Chocolate ganache cake was good. Was the quality worth the price? Not for me.

The food is always great so no complaints there but my brave review is definitely the service. We had like three or four boards and several brunch items. Of course, I got the cucumber honey lemonade and I made my friend try it too. Lol. Delicious as always. 10 out of 10. However, I will say that the new battle of the board is not Great like I remember. They had super basic flavors and the ones they did experiment with different combinations were actually pretty disgusting.
