It was very-very greasy and made our kid's stomach hurt. He loves pizza but said it was horrible. They told me that I had to return the pizza uneaten to get a refund. Me and my kid only ate one piece which is how we knew it was horrible. I hope if you are considering buying a pizza from this place that you think twice and go elsewhere. read more

The sister and her boyfriend were in town from Denver. So we decided to take them out downtown for the night. After the first bar, we ended up at the spot next door. So after we're good on drinks, it was time for a bit of after turn up food. This place happened to be at the right place. We ended up getting 3 rounds of slices. First round I had the ham and jalapeños which was superb. Plus they had some kind of hybrid dipping sauce for the pizza which was super sublime. 2nd round we did the Hawaiian which is also sublime. The third was the same, which set us on a perfect amount of good. Best thing about this pizza restaurant is not just the location, but the pricing per slice is super awesome. About 2 a slice is a great deal. Trust, my friend had to buy some more. Exactly the reason why we did 3 rounds of pizza smashing. The place is small, so don't expect a giant restaurant. It's more of an order joint. You'd be lucky to snag one of the only two tables in there. The staff was super cool and friendly. We finally tried the Chicago Pizza in Southwest next to Mutiny Bar. There is a couple tables for dine in, but it is a pick up/carry out spot. The ambiance was friendly & inviting. Very clean. We were very impressed! I ordered up a medium Chicago style cheese only. He ordered a cheese bread. Both were equally delicious! They had it ready for us in under 20 mins, what a record- I'm used to 45 mins + for Chicago Style. I found out there is another location in Allen Park! Chicago's Pizza is open late. If your car gets stolen here, I might ask "where'd Chicago?" But yes it's in a poor area, and yes it has a lot of character. It's close to Mexicantown actually. That being said almost an 1hr and 40 minutes for food is absolutely ridiculous never again we are so disappointed. I have been looking for something I find comparable to Giordano's Chicago location (Detroit location is trash) and ran across positive reviews for Chicago's Pizza. You can mention Yelp all you like, you're not getting the 10% off Yelp deal unless your order is $40+, even though that's not stated. They do not have a private parking lot. However, there's street parking available and an open lot across the street about two doors down. We called in our order of a large pizza with double pepperoni which came to about $6.49. Not bad for a large with two toppings. We were given a pickup time of 6 to 7 minutes. I can't be sure if it was really ready that fast, because we took longer than that to get there. It was ready upon our arrival and still hot. We paid for our order and left with a thank you /please come again. At first sight the pizza looked pretty good. The cheese had some stretch to it and the bottom crust was nicely crisp. The crust at the back was a bit doughy. All in all, it was a good pizza at a reasonable price. Placed an order at 2:40pm today. Website says that they deliver in 45 or less, unless there is a surge in orders, in which case it could take an hour. I called them after 1 hour to get a status update. The lady tells me the driver will be there in 15-20 minutes. 45 minutes goes by again. I'm now very mad because it has been 1 hr 45 min since I ordered (btw, it was 1 order of chicken wings and fries, NOT 5 pizzas or something crazy). I call the store back and ask to speak to a manager. She proceeds to tell me that the driver has not only been to my house once, but TWICE and I didn't answer the door. The driver also said that he called me. I received no call and no one ever showed up at my house. I have three dogs, 2 are 80lbs plus. They bark VERY VERY loud when anyone shows up to the door. Their beds are under the front window which they look out of. Trust me, no one showed up. LONG story short.... I would never order from here. They were very rude about the situation and weren't able to issue a refund since I ordered the food through their website which is hosted by a company called MyPizza.com. I had to call another person and now have to wait 48 hours for a refund on food I never received. Nice waste of time. read more
