The food is decent but that's about all you need for a place like this that has variety and speed and the food never comes to you bad. It just might not be as good as places that take longer and have less variety. You go to Chicago's because you want a decent meal with good variety of options. Or maybe you just like pizza cuz her pizza's pretty good and they have generous hours for serving said pizza which is on a higher quality tier than the rest of the menu. This is the best place for anybody gluten free! I'm celiac and my girlfriend and I split the prosciutto and goat cheese pizza and it was very good. The server was super accommodating and friendly too which was nice! The best part has gotta be the in house bread that they make - best I've had since I've gotten diagnosed! Hello, new favorite pizza place! I have been looking for a local pizza place since moving up north and Chicago's Pizza has won my heart. When I looked them up online, I was impressed by their wide variety of pizzas (thin, stuffed, deep dish, and gourmet) along with their other food options and their prices. Immediately I was struck by the Pesto Lover's Pizza. I have had other pesto pizzas with shrimp and tomato, but holy moly, this pizza was PHENOMENAL! The pizza was not too greasy and had the perfect amount of shrimp, onion, and sun dried tomato. The broccoli cheese bites were also AMAZING! You get quite a bit with your order, which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered online and the order was ready before promised. Super impressive service for a busy weekend time! This place had the most unflavored pizza i had in my entire life, the deep dish was LITERALLY entirely dough on top. My friend's thought it was just extra cheese, come to find out they did not cook the pizza long enough and the "manager" argues that all deep dish pizza is generally all dough on top but this was the first I was hearing about this or seeing a pizza not cooked like that. Deep dish pizza should not have an inch of dough in a mozzarella like consistency. Another friend in the group got a GF pizza which had been cross contaminated or something because they got horribly sick from the pizza. Would not recommend, food is NASTY, and service was horrible, server was not personable at all and seemed overall annoyed as soon as we got there. Disclaimer: I know deep dish can be a little doughy at times, not like this though. And if they get people who question their deep dish (which he stated they had) they need to let people know the pizza raw ahead of time so they won't get it and pay $30+ for a raw, bland pizza made by a man who can't be told he's wrong. My friends and I went here and ordered a few pizzas here some months back. Two of the pizzas were correct, but one did not at all match the menu description. We mentioned this to our server and since the server was relatively new to the job, she went grabbed someone else (not sure whether it was a manager or just a more experienced server) to handle the issue. Anyways, this person comes over and we show that the pizza doesn't at all match the menu description. The type of sauce, the type of cheese, and the type of toppings were all different than what was listed in the menu. We asked if they could take it back and remake it correctly. They refused to, and all they were willing to do was take 20% of the item (not the whole bill, just that one pizza). So we were stuck paying 80% of the cost for an item that wasn't even what we ordered. Luckily for us, we paid with a credit card and had no problem getting out bank to chargeback Chicago's and get a refund. It's a bummer because the two pizzas that were correct were absolutely fantastic. Mistakes happen, whatever, it didn't need to be a big deal. Had they simply owned up to it and remade the item correctly, I'd have given this place 5 stars. read more

Paninis & pastas are amazing but recently ordered a gourmet garlic lovers pizza, once we tried the pizza there was absolutely no taste of garlic on it. My brother placed the order for my birthday! Called the restaurant, talked to the manager told him that we did not taste any garlic on the crust or the pizza he then said that there is a certain measurement for the pizza to how much garlic there supposed to put. He said that next time I should add a note and ask for extra garlic. There was literally no garlic on the pizza to begin with, the crust was very plain but the toppings on the pizza were great. Definitely not ordering a pizza from there again . You can definitely see that there was no olive oil drizzled on the crust like it says on the website. I like Chicago's Pizza when I'm hangry and need a quick slice stat. They are pretty tasty, almost always available with a variety of toppings, and reasonably priced at only $3! Bonus? Both thin and deep dish are offered by the slice! However, they have gotten considerably smaller over the years, and are now much smaller than their competitors. My Chicago native friend's favorite pizza place, so we obviously had to go while I was in town! I didn't love it love it, but it was solid. The complimentary bread served at the table was super delicious, obviously fresh and really tasty. We had a stuffed pizza, which is basically a deep dish pizza with an extra layer of dough between the cheese and sauce. They warn you in advance that your pounds takes 35-40 minutes, which leaves plenty of time to chat and get driven slowly crazy by the smells wafting out of the kitchen. We got a medium stuffed pizza with pepperoni and mushroom. It was massive! These big deep slices of pizza covered in sauce - when the server cut us pieces, the cheese just oozed everywhere. The crust was tasty, with a distinct buttery flavor. You could barely find the pepperoni and mushroom for all the cheese, though, and the sauce was a bit too harsh for me. Plus, I wish there had been more of it to balance all the cheese. Personally, I didn't see the need for the extra layer of crust - it didn't seem to add anything. I'd give it another try with a regular deep dish. read more
