I dropped them off in early fall and it took about 4-5 weeks for them to be completed (She did have nearly 25 films). The quirks of the service is that you have to make an appointment to drop off and pick up. The owner is only in the office for appointments. Also, I asked him to contact me when he knew how much film was there to have an estimate of cost. I never received a call so was a bit surprised of the cost when I arrived. That being said, the video quality is quite good and he can do additions if you want such as music etc. They have a coupon on their site which for my order would have been better (30% off) than using the groupon.

After searching and looking into other companies that were costing more than this company, which by the way when I first saw their excellent reviews (as well as the fact that they have been in business for over 25 years) helped me to decide on using Midwest Digital Conversions. The owner Dave Maiden, was very professional and carefully went over with me everything as far as what I had and what I was looking to have done. He promised me that he could not only do what I needed done, but also in a fast period of time at at a very reasonable cost. The conversion from VHS to Digital Format and put onto DVD at a cost of only $12.00 which included 1 free DVD copy. I not only ordered 4 additional (at a very reasonable price for each of them) DVD copies to give to a few special friends, plus I also ordered 2 copies to be put onto thumb drives also at a reasonable cost. He had me drop my original VHS Tape off at his business and everything was ready for me to pickup the finished product just 2 days later. In viewing my DVDs that he made I was very happy with the excellent quality of work that he did and even had my daughter come to my house to surprise her with the video (she was 13 years old when she was going to the camp and is now in her early 50's, so it was like going back in time watching the video) and then I gave her one of the copies to have and share with her family and friends. I will always tell everyone that I know that if they have any VHS Tapes, other films on reels such as 8mm or 16mm, etc, and of course any old family photos that they want to have preserved in digital format, that will last for many years, to contact Midwest Digital Conversions to do the job because they will definitely never be disappointed.
