Cute spot. Lounge vibes. Even in the daytime. Brought my kids here cause my partner has been craving deep dish. They have personal sized ones! I don't know what other magical dust powder goes into a regular cheese pizza but my picky kids ate 3 slices each! (Square cut) No other patrons but us on a Saturday at noon but we aren't complaining about that. Music is ideal for millennials cause usher, Neyo, and Sean Paul was singing it for us over the speakers. really enjoyed our meal and hospitality

The food was great, the wings especially! The Hot Honey sauce was absolutely delicious. The vibe was relaxed and intimate.

When I heard about this place I couldn't wait to try it out because they had deep dish pizza. This place is located in a strip mall with ample parking. It's called a lounge and pizzeria but gives more of a lounge vibe when you walk in considering the mellow lighting. It has a few booths and a bar. You're able to place you order through the website on your phone either as one tab or separate tabs. I like that option considering I'm always out to eat with others. I am not sure what was going on this day but they were sold out of literally all of their alcoholic drinks on the menu which was odd. They did offer us margaritas for purchase and they were actually good! My expectations were a bit too high for the deep dish pizza because it wasn't what I'm used to. Don't get me wrong, the pizza wasn't bad but it wasn't actual deep dish. It should have included more fillings and toppings. It was just an inside out slice of pizza with tall crust. I also had the fried pickles and Hella Yella wings to munch on while waiting on the pizza (takes about an hour to cook). The Hella Yella sauce is lemon pepper and hot honey sauce combined. This would have been perfect if the chicken was cooked a tad bit longer. I wouldn't mind returning for these! I was kind of disappointed with the fried pickles. For $10, I expected a basket full like the picture shows on the menu when ordering but there was literally only 10 fried pickle chips. For someone that has never had deep dish pizza, it might be a good treat for them but unfortunately it is not the real deal.

I was stoked we found a Chicago thin crust joint in Austin, but wound up disappointed. Service was ok, not great and not absolutely terrible. Server was attentive but we were the only ones there. He gave us sweet tea when asked for unsweet tea and our appetizer was delivered at the same time as the meal (I hate that). We were starting to get hangry and ate the entire pizza but left most of the app uneaten. Pizza was cooked on too high of a temp. Flavor wasn't there for the app or pie. Im not sure if we got the right app, we ordered Garlic cheese bread and we tasted no garlic, just some Italian spice. Now I'm from Chicago and grew up on tavern thin crust. I tried not be picky hoping for a slight similarity, but other than thin soft crust cut in squares there was none. We ate it all giving it a fair chance and cause we were starving by the time it got to our table. Ill be searching for another Chitown Tavern Pizza joint and not returning here. For those of you who dont know the flavor of real Chicago thin crust, you may actually enjoy it. Its not bad pizza, its just not the type of pizza I went there for.

Ordered the 16 inch tavern style got a 13 inch cracker that's soft was soft in the middle. The f course I'm from Chicago so I was hoping for something similar. The photos looked good but the dough folded like a Nee York style. Taste wasn't too bad.

Although this is a nice place, being from Chicago I was hoping to get a taste of home, imitated but not duplicated. For starters the wings imo were too big and not fully cooked, the deep dish pizza was missing the deep in deep dish, the inside of the pizza was half filled instead of filled to the top, It tasted ok. The establishment was clean and the staff were friendly that's a plus. They serve adult beverages as well.

Order lunch today and cannot begin to say how disappointed I am. Thought I found a new place for Chicago style pizza but 2 bites in and I could not take it. The sauce taste like straight red wine. We ordered the lunch combo and did not get our fries. The fried mozzarella was empty tubes of breading and strings of cheese covering them. The fried pickles were all lumped together with raw batter. Basically everything was inedible

Yesterday, I ordered 10 inches deep dish pizza with six slices and it was great. I'm saving four slices for leftovers!

Pizza tried to be Chicago but not quite there. It was tasty but a long drive for me to try. Would consider if I were in neighborhood.

Drinks are expensive and served in what feels like miniature target brand, low-quality glasses, which makes the value proposition hard to justify the steep $14 price. The atmosphere is where it really falls apart. The space is set up like a bright, casual brunch hall rather than a cocktail bar--harsh, bright lighting, uncomfortable wooden chairs, and basic wooden square tables that don't align with the concept AT ALL. There's no food offering, yet the environment feels designed for daytime dining rather than an evening bar experience. From a design and hospitality standpoint, it's difficult to understand how this made it to opening in its current state. Even a VERY basic understanding of lighting and ambiance would suggest this setup is fundamentally mismatched--ESPECIALLY for something like a date night. If you're looking for a comfortable or intimate setting, this is NOT it. You'd honestly have a better experience sitting outside a gas station with a 6-pack of Coors Light.

And, at both breakfasts Amy made me feel especially welcome! The table came with a bottle of water for self-service, which I appreciated. The wine list was of good quality. My server at dinner was able to give me a solid recommendation for one to pair with my salmon. She was dead on with how well it complimented the fish. As for the salmon, it wasn't overly seasoned and was incredibly flaky. It was a good size as well. For breakfast, The Breakfast Plate's eggs were cooked perfectly with appropriately cooked bacon. I enjoyed the potatoes that accompanied it as well. The Buttermilk Pancakes meal was a failure though. The pancakes were gooey inside. My server, Amy, offered to have them remade, but I declined the offer. So I accepted a parfait, which was easily one of the best I've had in Austin. The granola with the berries were perfectly balanced, and the granola wasn't super chunky. Amy was 100% invested in my meal satisfaction. The dining room is quite pretty with lovely set tables. Every time I ate, I felt a tad underdressed! But they don't care if you're comfortably casual, and i saw a family with small children looking very relaxed and vacationy and they were welcome.

That's because we later realized that it was actually the Cambria Hotel's in-building restaurant. We also realized we didn't need reservations, since we and one other family were the only ones dining in for Sunday brunch. The woman who attended to us was very friendly and accommodating. I was able to get a flavorful cappuccino and eggs benedict made vegetarian friendly. The Hollandaise sauce was swapped out for queso, which was a fun twist! All-in-all, a great brunch was had by all. The food was not the best we'd ever had in regards to other brunch places, but knowing that crowds are not a problem here makes this a great back-up spot if the other brunch places in town are backed up!

I thought it was so cool beans and had to go check them out - and I did on Christmas Eve last year. Yeah, so last year Christmas Eve I was getting my last swim in. And spoke to a couple of buddies who I met there about what they were planning to do over Christmas. Well, both of them said not much and I told them I was gonna head over to this bar called Lala's that celebrates Christmas all year round. They also never heard of it, but we ended up meeting up there later that night. The place was packed, and everyone was dressed up in their Christmas sweaters, and there was a countdown clock to Christmas Day, which I thought was really cool. We hung out there until the clock past midnight and to a shot for Jesus's birthday. I don't think Jesus does shots on his birthday so we figured why not, it's a really big deal, and so we'll do a shot in his honor. Amen. My friends really liked the place and I enjoyed it. A few few months later, a friend of mine came in from out of town and I told her about this bar and she got excited and I took her there and she really enjoyed it too. It looks like it does have a few regulars, but the people there are generally very friendly and I always have a good time here.
