We notified them on 6/12/24, on 6/24 George himself came out to look at the pan and measure the closet to see if a new appropriate drain pan would fit because not all comply with current codes. He ordered the new drain pan, scheduled to have it installed but also commented on the review I left, he asked if he could come by. We said he could come verify our statements when the pan was installed but his team Brian and David were well aware of a number of issues prior to our final payment. Today, August 2nd the new drain pan was installed as George did acknowledge that is the proper installation for the set-up we have. He also reviewed a number of items, offered to fix what he could. While it was a nice offer/gesture, our experience with the team (Brian & David and all the sub contractors) made it impossible for us to accept. George indicated he was not aware and that a number of these items could have easily been punch list items to be taken care, but that option was never given to us. George did in fact reimburse us for a different issue. I'm grateful George stepped in and that he was willing to at least look into it. I'm more grateful he acknowledged and did correct the drain pan and I appreciate his offer to correct what he could. The crew that was here did an excellent job (from what we can tell as of today). It's unfortunate it had to be escalated but I can confidently say, when it was, George did everything he could to get taken care of appropriately. He communicated frequently and everything went very smooth.

I was working with a more junior designer, and replies were sometimes delayed. Once we got into build phase, the process ran really smoothly. I worked primarily with Daniel who was coordinating everything, and he was very communicative. Everyone who worked on the project (tiling, plumbing, electrical) was prompt and attentive. There was a small snag at the end where my heated floors weren't heating. Daniel made sure to get the electrician, tiling professional, and heated floor professional on site to quickly identify the problem and remedy. The whole process from signing contract to completed bathroom was about six months. Longer than I was expecting, but happy to have had Chi Renovation coordinating all the moving pieces.

I called them up and they used a floor polish that didn't make it any better. It actually made it worse. They didn't use furniture pads that I bought for them to put under the couch and other furniture. I thought they used them and when I tried to move my couch, it scratched the floor. When I called them, they said it wasn't their responsibility to use the furniture pads or to get the streaks out so it looks like a new floor. They were very rude. I ended up hiring a new company for $3500 to get my floors looking the way they should've the first time. I would never use them again. They said there's nothing more they could do and it wasn't their responsibility to put on the furniture pads. I talked to the president of the company and he was very rude. I ended up having to go to a new firm and spend $3500
