This is a nice H-D shop. They have bikes for sale on the floor, with price tags on them. Do you have any idea how many dealerships no longer show their prices? That blows! But not these guys, they are straight up and honest. They have a nice parts department with a knowledgeable manager. Their clothing department is large, but don't expect to find any bargains here. They don't even have off season clothing discounts. The best part is they have a large expansive parking lot where classes are held for new bikers to learn the basics. Sweet! read more

Had my bike rebuilt to a stage 4 and spent thousands of dollars getting it done at the former Wildfire, l'm putting a quart of oil in every 1,000 miles and they said this is normal. Worst expertence ever, WILD FIRE HARLEY DAVIDSON HELD MY MOTORCYCLE HOSTAGE FOR 3 MONTHS THIS SUMMER AND NEVER REPAIRED IT, AND CHARGED ME $900 DOLLARS TO RETURN IT TO ME WITH THE SAME ISSUE. The two Matts wanted to tow it to Countryside HD to have it repaired, have u ever heard of anything so rediculous. Their so called Master Mechanic couldnt diagnose the problem with all their thousands of dollars equipment. I am done with hardley dropped the ballison. They pretty much just gave me the middle finger for supporting their brand for 50 years, im done im headed to the Honda dealer to purchase a Goldwing. Harley should be ashamed for this conduct and u are a fool if u patronize this dealership. Im a retired police officer and they made me miss the memorial run for the brothers that paid the ultimate sacrifice as I gave the bike to them in April n didnt get it back until end of August, really! Fantastic experience, I went in with my friend just looking and getting a feel for a future purchase for my first motorcycle. We found a motorcycle that was listed under $1000. It was a Maroon 2004 Yamaha, Roadstar (48k miles), self cooled, 1700cc, and Staff O'Neill R. told me about the bike. It was a used bike, with some dents and rough edges, but I did not care. I really like it. I did not have the money to purchase it at the time (life happens). So I walked away, with the One day idea. I showed pictures to my family, sitting on it. It was cool. Then I get a call from my kids to come days later to show them the bike. I was confused. As I walked in to the shop, my kids and staff said Happy Father Day. My kids purchased the bike as gift. I did not believe it. Staff members O'Neill R. and VuuDuu (Thank you for your Service), and the finance guy treated my kids selling experience over the top. They also played Metallica song Master of Puppets and let me ring the Bell with staff honking all of the bikes horns. What an amazing experience for being my first motorcycle. Absolutely amazing experience. Walked in on a Saturday, everyone friendly, greeted at the door. I asked one of the associates (Dillan) where the used bikes were and the rest is history. Dillan asked what I was interested in and my budget, he went in the back pulled out a gorgeous Street Glide. It was love at first sight and within my budget. After a test ride, Bacon threw some numbers at me, and I signed the paperwork on the spot. Introduced me to everyone, every department, welcomed me to the family. I planned on seeing several different bike dealers that day but felt so comfortable with Dillan and Bacon and knowing the great reputation Wildfire has, is was pretty much a no-brainer. This review is for the Used Motorcycle Store, which is a division of wildfire Harley. Worst buying experience ever. They were super quick to take my money. When problems started though they ran and hid, so they wouldn't have to pay up. Their 7 day warranty is a complete joke and a lie. When they struggled to ship my bike in a timely fashion I should have walked away. The shipping process was a complete disaster and again I should have walked away. Arrived with damages, and a dead battery. Battery was able to be charged. Radio didn't work. Brian said take to local Harley have them check it over and he'll cover it. On my way there the saddle bag fell OFF. Brian said just get me an estimate. As soon as he got the estimate, he dodged my calls and emails, and my local Harley dealers calls and emails. I contacted the BBB but this company isn't a part of their association. I contacted a lawyer and it would have been 1200 just to get the ball rolling. I called Harley customer care, they said they would investigate my complaints. Wildfire Harley, Windy City Harley and the Used Motorcycle Store appear to all be linked together and I really hope this review prevents someone from going through the same pain, agony, and stress I went through. read more

I had a great time here. I stopped in on a trip I took to the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee and then to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Along the way I stopped at 22 Harley Davidson Dealerships. This particular dealership is one I highly recommend stopping at. They have a large showroom, one of the coolest names of the 22 on the trip. The staff greeted me as soon as I came through the door and gave me the lay of the land and sent me on my way to the poker chips. This was one of the dealerships I wish I had had more time to look around in. If I return the area again, I will be back. I'd love to checkout a bike night here in the future because the dealership name is so cool. read more

I purchased a Heritage 2017, and literally thousands of dollars in merchandise and parts, however the clerks at the cloths section were following my wife and I as if we were going to steal something , they made us feel really uncomfortable. I left my switch on and my battery was drained, I asked for a start jump, and the guys in the service department was making a big deal about it, insisting that I needed a new battery. after arguing for 15 minutes finally they jump the battery and I never had a problem again with my battery. They put several scratches on my 2022 roadglide that I purchased from them and had them install a 131 engine kit before I took the bike. Beware ***Beware***Beware Do not do buisiness with these thieves . I went and purchased an exhaust and had it installed at st Charles Harley . Ray the service writer tried overcharging me by $400 and then said it was an honest mistake . Was smelling exhaust fumes like crazy . Went to a local shop by my house and 3 out of 4 bolts were loose . Mistake #1. Then I went and had my 5k service done . They put the wrong oil filter on my bike and then 3 MONTHS after paying for my service ($580) I get a message that I owe $45 . Called Mike the service writer and after 10 min of him trying to explain the additional $45 charge I was not satisfied with the lies I was being told so I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was then transferred to "RAY" . He explained that when I came in to get my service they don't know exactly what my bike will need so they go with a standard price and that the $45 was for work that was not calculated in the 5k service. Complete BS !!!!! I told Ray the clown that I sell cars for a living n this sounds like a lie n I will be calling Harley to complain. Next day I get phone call from GM saying that it was a mistake and they will wave the $45 bogus charge . I would strongly recommend staying away from this dealer group especially the scum bag Ray .,They will lie, steal and will not do service properly which is most important. I will still file a complaint with Harley Davidson . This place is a joke !!!! read more

Bought my Trike there. Worked with Salesman Barry for over a year to find my dream bike. First With Vrods , then with Softails, patiently guiding me to find the right bike - or in this case Trike. And Wildfire had a great deal on a pre-owned Freewheeler. Loaded with speakers, Mustang Seat, and Windshield. Being my first bike, they're letting me store it there to practice on their large attached parking lot. Their Showroom is not as big as others - like Fox Valley HD, or Woodstock, but they have better amenities. Like their outdoor Stage. Called the pita great outdoor Stage called the Pit, for outdoor concerts and a large detached parking lot for their riding classes. read more

I've bought many new Harley's from many locations over the years. Wildfire is the worst experience I ever had purchasing any new vehicle in my life. I paid cash but was subjected to the finance guy trying to up sell me extended warranty's, service packages and such. I told him I am not interested in anything just the bike. He started to berate me for not letting him do his job. I should have walked out then but I wanted the bike. The bike I bought ended up being a lemon and I sued HD and got a small settlement but wasn't worth the grief of 8 return visits to their unscrupulous service department. They even removed my new upgraded spark plugs on one visit and replaced them with used ones. I could go on. The parts guy, a cranky left over from Villa Park HD was as rude as ever. Go to another HD shop. Don't waste your time here. A few weeks ago I inquired on the Chicago HD website about test riding a used Heritage Softail that was at the Lakeshore location. JD from Wild Fire reached out to me. I expressed that the bike I was looking to test was at Lakeshore (which was as far away from me as Wildfire) and he responded with "Their inventory is our inventory. We can get the bike and save you time." I explained my situation - that Sunday was the only day they were open when I was available to stop in, and that I was looking to test ride this particular bike on that day. He responded that he wouldn't be in, but that he "spoke with the sales manager and he said he would gladly take care of me" I then asked if it would be possible to test ride the bike at Rosemont instead, considering that was the closest shop to me and they'd be moving the bike less distance. JD responded "First things first come to Wild Fire. That way you can talk about the bike and see if its a good fit for you. Do't want to waist your time bro." I drove out to Wild Fire first thing that Sunday, explained that I'm here to test ride this bike per JD, and the guy at the front desk says "Uhh you know we don't have that bike here, right?" I was pretty irritated. No apology was offered by the staff either. I never asked them to transfer the bike - I was fine with driving out to Lakeshore. JD insisted on transferring the bike and having me visit Wildfire. Why would I waste my time driving out of the city on my day off to talk about a bike after I explained (more than once) that I was looking to take it for a test ride? On a side note, almost nobody at this shop was wearing a mask. Not only do they not believe in customer service, apparently they don't believe in science either. read more

Bought a sportster 48 this past weekend and had a positive experience. The staff was welcoming and straight to the point which I like! I was literally in and out in about a half an hour with paperwork and new T-shirt in hand (Bike was delivered the following Friday). I live in the city and oddly enough the bike I bought was located at their sister dealer in wrigleyville but they had it trailered over to their store, through their service dept, and subsequently delivered to my doorstep. So where do I start, well let's start with delivery of my motorcycle..how donyou deliver a bike with NO OIL IN IT?? Sonthen you take it back and service it and it leaks oil..then at the 28th day you call to find out where your paper work is to get your plates, and low and behold..they need more stuff..copy of insurance card(which you had before I left dealership) and another copy of drivers license. First off this is my 3rd bike from Wildfire... 1st was way back under old management and was horrible, 2nd current management and yesterday 06-17-2014 my 3rd bike a 2014 Street Glide Special. Like any good consumer I did my review search, how much are other people buying the same bike for? how close is service to my home? etc..etc.. and I cringed when I saw yelp and other reviews on wildfire HD. Some I knew from my past experiences and others were new and I was surprised to read about. That being said.... I decided once again to roll with Wildfire H.D., Adam was my salesperson along with the help of Jackie and I would like to say everything went smooth as silk.... but like any major purchase things come up but Adam & Jackie quickly took care of them with no effort on my part. Dave is the financial guy I dealt with and this was not my first time dealing with him for financing. I already had my loan covered by my Credit Union but Dave was able to beat their rate by 1 1/5 percent and go a few months longer on term, so I went with that... No pressure sales tactics.. Did he try and up sale me on GAP and Extended warranty? You betcha... but the choice was mine and he was fine either way. We shall see about the service aspect and I will update sometime in the future when I have to deal with them and the time delays or other complaints I have read about... Bill in service has always been very helpful and has the no bull attitude I like and respect. Recap- I actually enjoyed by purchase experience and had some good laughs in the process. Villa Park HD Chapter is the friendliest and most active I have belonged to... so the big question will be Service!! We shall see about that one... I always believe the deal you get is the deal you make and I am happy with the one I got. Once they have you on the phone they'll lie to you for over a week giving you every story under the sun as to why they don't have it done. If they don't have the parts or can't get the parts they shouldn't accept the job. If this was the only place left on the planet to buy bikes I would be riding a fucking Vespa in order not to have to ever deal with these people again. My suggestion is stay far away as you can. Avoid this "stealership." I called Wildfire to see if they had a model and color I wanted. They did, so I discussed the hinge would be I needed a certain amount for trade in. They said, based on the year and condition that we should be close. By "close" I am thinking, as long as I am not completely full of poop, we should get within $500, give or take. So, I rushed home after work, walked the dog and rode the bike out. After talking to them, doing a workup on numbers they gave me the trade in value. By their admission, my trade in was perfect. No mechanical issues, very good condition, clean title and completely loaded with desirable upgrades. The bike was basically better than they would have expected based on the phone call. So, back to the numbers. Their appraisal ended up $3000 less than what they said they could do over the phone. I told them the ONLY reason I decided to ride out in rush hour traffic to even discuss this was because they had already agreed to the trade in amount. The sales manager even had the guts to say, "that was more than I would have offered for it." I guess the plus side was it was a nice night for a ride. Anyway, avoid these "bait and switchers." From others I spoke to after the fact, this is common practice over there. I wish negative stars was an option. read more

I had my bike estimated for insurance because someone hit my bike while it was parked. I ordered a fender and fairing for an 06' Street glide and the total came to $1200ish. They wanted to charge 6.5 hours or $600+ to install which is ridiculous. So I decided to install the parts on my own. When I went to pick up the parts Chris (the service manager) told George to charge me $199 for the estimate since I wasn't having the service done there. Would of been helpful if I was told before hand. Keep in mind that it took 3 weeks longer than promised and the reason for that is the original fender that came in had a "dent" in it. Well that's what they told me. Convenient. I also priced out their parts department and found that not only are they much higher than other dealerships, but they over charge on labor if they're NOT Harley parts ($149 an hour compared to $99). I don't understand how they are in ownership the same ownership group as Fox River Harley and Illinois Harley....I've had work done at the other two and have had no complaints...actually had a good experience. My Co- Worker "almost" bought his bike here too, but after the treatment he got from their finance department he also went elsewhere and has been happy for about a year. Unless you like being taken advantage it's worth the extra drive to go to another dealership like Illinois. Lousy service department. I took in my Harley Sportster for a pretty routine repair. They fixed a brake light short but in the process removed the front brake fluid reservoir and put in back wrong. I could not adjust the rear-view mirror because the back was cocked at an odd angle. And they left it that way when I got it back. I took it elsewhere to get it right. You should too. read more

I finally got my bike back from these clowns. 2 major noise issues did not get resolved, as they were not considered to be catastrophic failures!?!?! What a bunch of BS! Extended warranty means NOTHING, don't waste your money!! Dealer had to repair a small damage area on my bike as well due to their carelessness when it was in their shop previously. They replaced one part and the service manager (Tony) said they fully repainted the other. After closer inspection at home, they basically just touched it up and buffed it. I still had to buff the edges and noticed a couple tiny chips that were previously there!! Ya know, the part they did mess up did get fixed, but there was no need to blatantly lie to my face!! This will be the last time I bring my bike to this service department. Their claim to the "Friendliest dealer" is the farthest from the truth when it comes to having to use your warranty or asking them do whats right!!
