Fast casual little spot, but so so so so good. It's busy around lunchtime which is always a good sign. I'm obsessed with the sloppy Joe's that are only available Thursdays so you know where to find me every single Thursday!

Absolutely obsessed with this spot after one visit. Impeccable food, friendly staff and the perfect Chicago vibes. Food is very well priced, high quality and large portions. Can't wait to come back many times to support this business!!

If you're in Arizona and craving a taste of Chicago, this is the place to go. The restaurant is decorated with vintage Chicago sports memorabilia, which gives it a fun and authentic atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and even offered to cut our burger in half so we could share it. We ordered a burger and onion rings and both were great. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu, especially the Chicago dog and the Italian beef

After a trip to the VA I was hungry like a Hostage. I saw the sign and love All things Chicago so I opted for a peak inside and rolled the dice on lunch. A hidden gem was found. Ordered the Italian Beef loaded with sweet peppers, fries, a drink. Basic but the menu was loaded with all kinds of Chicago Goodness. Chicago Dawgs, Sloppy Joes (a local favorite), sliders, and more. Definitely a Chicago theme DDD. Worth the stop and return visit. The burgers are insane.

If you are looking for the best Chicago dog chili cheese, burger, and good old-fashioned customer service look no further! This is the spot! I can't say enough good things about the food here and the hospitality! I had the Chicago dog and it was just as I remembered. I also had a chili cheese slider, and it was out of this world! The french fries were divine and the owner is a total sweetheart! Don't walk but run to this place for some good old-fashioned Chicago style food!

I rolled into Chicago Hamburger Co. on a Friday morning around 10:30am purely because I was craving a burger and everyone else acts like food doesn't exist until 11. Bless this place for being open and ready to work. First impression: it's totally unassuming from the outside, but inside it's like a little Chicago time capsule... sports on the TVs, Ms. Pac-Man, a claw machine, and walls covered in nostalgia. Plenty of seating, and the soundtrack was basically a "dad rock hall of fame" in the best way (Bob Seger, Wet Willie, Marshall Tucker Band, Allman Brothers). It's the kind of background music that makes your fries taste better. Science. Now the important part: I went wide on the menu. Vienna Chicago Dog Plump, juicy, and loaded with the legit Chicago-dog toppings. It hit that "this is the real deal" vibe immediately and it came with a generous side of fries (we'll get to those). Fries Crispy outside, soft inside, and seasoned perfectly light salt, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you "just need a few" and then realize you ate half the basket without thinking. Frito Pie This took me straight back to high school snack shack days... except this version grew up and got a better job. The chili was higher quality, great meat-to-bean ratio, and the consistency was perfect: not too thick, not soupy, just enough to coat the Fritos and grab onto those chopped onions like it was designed for it. Double Slider with Cheese (add bacon) *star of the show* This thing was dialed in. The beef was cooked perfectly...tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Cheese melted like it meant it, caramelized onions were placed like someone actually cared, and there was a crisp crunch from what tasted like house-made pickles. And the bun... I don't know if they bake it in-house, but it tasted fresh and unbelievably soft, toasted just right. One bite and I understood why people talk about them being around since 1975, they earned it! Service was quick, friendly, and no-nonsense in the best way. I'm definitely coming back. If you judge places by the outside, you might drive right past this one, but if you like high-quality comfort food and a nostalgic vibe, this is a legit hidden gem.

This historic spot is certainly a throwback. She's showing her age, but the food was good. Friendly, quick service and the wait staff does a good job of keeping the tables clean. We enjoyed a 1/3 lb. & 2/3 lb. cheese burger, fries and shakes. The Chicago style Italian beef sandwich was good too. The prices haven't stayed historic but, no one left hungry and we took food home.

Think I came here 12 years ago. This time I tried the $10 Chicago cheesesteak. It had Chicago beef and onions and peppers and provolone. Nice lean meat and filling sandwiches. Enjoyable.

I have not been here in years and we were close by having cocktails. We wrapped up our drinks early so we can make it in before they closed. Just like I remembered everything was delicious and everybody enjoyed their sliders.

Great sliders and awesome for any native of Chicago. I take consultants there and they love it. Peanut butter shakes are the best.

Great burger and onion rings! The sliders and hotdogs are pretty good, but the 1/3lb cheeseburger with grilled onions was exceptional.

Do the burgers come with mustard?

Yup, unless otherwise requested. www.chicagohamburger.com

No bar, beer or wine?

Nope! No libations here, the setup and vibe of the place is not really conducive to alcohol service. However, beer would be a welcome addition to the menu and would complement the Italian beef, burgers and dogs.…

Where asking a question feels like you're interrupting someone's day. So today, when I took my son to Ted's Hot Dogs. This is a place I've been going to since the 1900s (as my kids love to remind me ). I didn't expect much. Things had changed since my childhood days, but the food had always remained good! I just missed the days when the same guy worked the grill and knew my name and my order by heart. But then, today... There was Karen. Yes, Karen!! Standing over a grill in 117° Arizona heat, she greeted us with patience, kindness, and an actual smile. She let my son take his time ordering without making him feel rushed. And when the ketchup was empty, she didn't shrug it off or point us in another direction. She didn't hand me a thousand little packets since the pump was empty. She simply took care of it. Was it just ketchup? Sure. But it also wasn't. It was someone choosing to care. When other patrons had notified other staff multiple times it was out - Karen found a simple solution without excuses! These days... that feels rare. We've spent years turning the name "Karen" into a punchline. But today, I met the kind of Karen the world could use a whole lot more of. If you're her manager and you're reading this... take good care of her. Promote her. Clone her if science ever figures that out. Because people like Karen don't just serve food - they create loyal customers who keep coming back!! In a world that tells us what a "Karen" is... be this Karen.

We waited in line to to order and after waiting about 25 minutes, we were helped. The cashier was stressing but was friendly. We ordered three traditional hot dogs with everything on top and a side of bacon cheese fries. Since it was national glizzy day, our hot dogs were supposed to be BOGO. We sat down and waited another 25 minutes until finally our buzzer beeped. We picked up our tray and noticed we were only given 5 hot dogs, not 6. We didn't mention anything just because we saw how busy it still was. The hot dogs were actually pretty good. They were a decent size and flavorful. We really liked the bacon fries and it was enough to share between us three. There was an employee keeping the tables clean and picking up trash - he was friendly. Will de be back to try out some more food!

The server was friendly, and the kitchen got the order out quickly. I ordered the Old Town--an all-beef couch dog topped with smoked bacon, cotija cheese, pickled jalapeños, and chipotle aioli--along with the BOJ slider. The Old Town hot dog was great, with the cheese and jalapeños working nicely together. Interestingly enough, they use the same buns for the sliders and the hot dog; the hot dog buns were just chained together, and it worked really well. The BOJ slider had a good flavor profile thanks to the caramelized onions and seasoning, though the slider was a little sparse for my liking when it came to the bun-to-beef ratio.

The side of onion rings/strings was a highlight -- nice and crispy, would order again just for those. My two issues was the dog itself. It came loaded with four different elements -- chipotle aioli, bacon chipotle, onion jam, and miso ranch -- and it was just too much happening at once. Individually these all sound great, but combined they muddied each other out instead of working together. Second, the dog itself was a little on the weak side. Bread to dog ratio is off. Would try another one off the menu.
