The sauce bar has many condiments & dips; you can play mad scientist with your seasonings/marinade. And, there was a cold buffet that offered kimchi and a few fruits. Then, I simply picked wrong when I chose two meats for starters; I didn't care for the seasoning on the Spicy Beef Bulgogi or the Spicy Calamari. I also ordered eggplant, and what I got looked exactly like what my wife had recently thrown out at home because it was too old. You know how they constantly scrape the grille clean at a Mongolian BBQ? There's no way to do that here. When we asked if there was, the answer was "I'll get you a new one", which did temporarily solve the problem, but the new surface soon had a blackened coating no different from the one before. Finally I had the sense to order Garlic Shrimps [sic], which I recommend, but as I was cooking it, it seemed like it was taking a long time. Eventually I looked at the controls at the side of the table, and our burner was turned off! I turned it back on and we finished our meal.
