The owner was also incredibly sweet and took the time to talk with us about how the team went to Philly and did so much research before opening this place. You can truly taste the care and effort that went into it! The prices are more than worth it in my opinion , and every time we're in Charlotte, this is a must stop for us. Mouthwatering, packed with flavor, and absolutely worth any wait. I honestly wish they'd open one in Raleigh because we'd be there every single week. This place is officially a staple for us, and I cannot rave about these cheesesteaks enough. Thank you for serving the community and honestly don't listen to any review that isn't 5 stars.

While it was not a great first impression, I will be willing to give this place a second chance based on the follow-up alone! In times where customer courtesy and being a customer-conscientious business seems to have fallen to the wayside of pure profit and capitalism, I have to give full kudos as to how quickly and kindly this situation was handled. Well done and thank you for making me feel seen, heard, and valued!!! Just goes to show, voicing your experiences on these kinds of platforms can result in action :)

We were in the area and decided to have Big Dave's for lunch…read more The space is small, but they have a few tables inside that you can sit and enjoy your meal if you choose. You walk up to the counter and place your order, we were the only ones there at the time so ordering was fairly quick. The young lady that took our order was polite and patient with us while we decided what we were going to order. I ordered the steak cheesesteak Dave's way with no onions, and added mayo, lettuce and tomatoe. They have a few items listed for dessert, but we were told that they were out of the banana pudding at the time. Our food was cooked to order and was piping hot when we received it. They placed my lettuce and tomatoes in a separate container which I'm grateful they did, because the lettuce was old and had a brownish tint to it. The cheesesteak was cheesy and really good. As I was eating I just noticed how dirty the place seemed. Although the staff were nice on their downtime every one was on their phone. I think they could have used that time to clean off the sticky tables, swept and mopped the floor etc. Everything just looked a bit dirty. Service was decent and fast, the food was freshly prepared and tasted great. Sanitation was a 96, not great but not bad either. If they could clean this place up and keep up with it, I could see myself coming back more often. Happy my bestie brought me by to give it a try!

Mine could have been stuffed a bit more, but the flavor definitely made up for it. I've also heard the wings are really good, so I'll definitely be coming back to try those next time. I think this is a food truck worth checking out. If they consistently load up the cheesesteaks with a little more meat, it would easily be a five-star experience for me.

The kids got different variations of the flavored chicken strips and they also rated them the 10 out of 10 we will definitely be back again. Even the lettuce looked old and unappetizing. I also ordered the seasoned crinkle fries, but "seasoned" is being generous. I think they may have gotten one sprinkle of seasoning because they tasted like absolutely nothing. To make matters worse, my friend ordered the steak sandwich, and it looked like straight-up dog food. It was so unappetizing that they threw it directly in the trash rather than even attempting to eat it. Overall, the food was disappointing from start to finish. Nothing looked or tasted remotely worth returning for, and based on this experience, I definitely would not go back.

I just want to give a huge thank you to the team at Capriotti's Sandwich Shop!…read more I placed a catering order very last minute, not realizing the store closed at 9:00 PM. Around 9:20 PM, I received a call from Olivia, the shift lead. She was incredibly calm, professional, and kind while explaining that she wasn't at the store and the employees working that night were fairly new and that they usually appreciate a little advance notice for catering orders. She asked whether I still wanted to move forward with the order. I told her I completely understood the situation and wouldn't be upset if they needed to cancel since it was so late and inconvenient. A little while later, Olivia called me back to let me know the catering had turned out great and that they could still deliver it if I wanted. When the order arrived, I was so impressed! Both catering boxes looked fantastic, and everything was prepared beautifully. I truly appreciate the employees who stayed late and put such care into making our order, and I especially want to thank Olivia for her outstanding customer service. Her kindness, communication, and professionalism turned what could have been a stressful situation into a wonderful experience. Thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond!
