We were planning a surprise party and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went off without a hitch; the coordination and attention to detail were incredible. The food was outstanding across the board, with real Caribbean flavor, clearly made with care. The rooftop ambiance set the perfect tone for the night: great vibes, beautiful setting, exactly what you want for a special occasion. But honestly, the service is what took this from great to unforgettable. The ladies working that night were amazing; warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our celebration special. You could tell they actually cared about giving us a great experience, not just going through the motions. If you're in NYC and looking for a spot to celebrate something special (or just want a great night out), Caribbean Soul Rooftop on Merrick Blvd needs to be on your list. Already planning our next visit!

We sat and was serviced downstairs versus being upstairs. Downstairs had a more chill vibe while upstairs was more vibrant and lively The place had a great vibe, mural on the walls up to the stairs, a flower wall with a swing. Great aesthetics for pictures. Between the individuals in our party, we ordered calamari, thai curry mussels, red red snapper with the sweet, spicy sauce and without, lamb chops and six boss. The lamb chops were a tad overcooked, but the rest of the food was really good Our drinks were nice. Service was a tad slow, but good experience overall.

The vibe is still very lively. Music was pumping, DJ played a great mix. They have hookahs available. The service was pretty good despite the crowd. Kyra was our waitress and she's very knowledgeable about menu items and made some good suggestions that we enjoyed! Drinks: we had the whiskey barrel, blueberry mojito, and passion fruit Long Island. If you like sweet cocktails then the blueberry mojito is for you. It was more sweet than alcoholic, tastes like juice. The passion fruit Long Island was much better. It had a good balance of flavor and alcohol. My friend enjoyed her whiskey barrel. Food: happy to see the portions haven't changed much and still match the price points! We started with the mango habanero wings and sweet chili shrimp: both were great. For entree I had the whole lobster medley which came with shrimp, mussels, scallops, and linguine. It came out hot and fresh and the sauce that's on it is to die for! Yum! The oxtail mac and cheese was really good too. The oxtail was tender and flavorful and the mac and cheese was very creamy/cheesy! Didn't try my friend's stuffed salmon (stuffed with crab meat) and shrimp but she ate every bit of it so that tells me all I need to know.

Server/bartender was kind and professional. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu items. We had fried calamari (perfectly cooked) and it was delicious. Seafood was fresh. We ordered lobster Mac and cheese and salmon Mac and cheese, crab cakes, and a side of steamed vegetables. We loved everything we had. Mac and cheese was a little only but nothing that ruined the dish. The drinks were delicious and strong. What also loved was the have hooks under the tables and at the bar ton hang your pocketbook. They also have outlets under the bar that can be used to charge your devices. These little touches matter! We had a really good time. Will definitely be coming back.

Joseph the top bartender is one consistent thing about this establishment. When I walk in and see him there, I feel assured that I will have a great cocktail and great service. Both delicious I definitely recommend.

My best friend and I came here on Friday night for her birthday dinner and unfortunately were…read moredisappointed. There wasn't many people despite it being a weekend, which I found surprising, but the dj was good and maintained the ambience. There was only one waitress for the entire restaurant therefore the whole dining experience became frustrating. She was very pleasant ; however, overworked and did did not allow us to order our entrees with the rest of our order. The drinks and appetizers were really good. I ordered a Pina colada and my best friend ordered a rum punch, both of which were strong. For apps we ordered the Ackee spring rolls and cod fish fritters. Everything was delicious, but we were hungry and had to wait to input our entree orders, resulting in us waiting an extra 30min. What became frustrating is that the couple next to us who came long afterwards was able to order everything at once and was eating their appetizers and entrees while we were still waiting for our oxtail and curry goat. This was extremely upsetting, especially because we requested to do so several times and the waitresses insisted that she was coming back. I understand that she had a lot on her plate, which is why we wanted to get everything out of the way at once. The food was delicious and fresh; however the service was definitely lacking.
