Little did I know that I would end up appreciating the intimate layout. The staff here is accommodating and personable. They made sure that we were taken care of. I didn't feel as if the bouncers were overstepping their boundaries and being pushy about coat check. The crowd here is mature, grown and sexy. Everyone was there to have a good time. You don't have to worry about silly fights breaking out or immature patrons. The food is just okay. The music here never gets old. They mainly play reggae - new and old school, soca, hip hop and some Spanish music.

We ordered a few drinks and a few sodas. The soda was not cold. They gave cups with ice after 10 minutes. The slushy straws were too big for the cups. When we got the bill, they advised us to scan to pay online. The bill had gratuity added on it, and when you scan and sign in to pay, it adds another gratuity on the payment site. Imagine paying twice the tips, which is ILLEGAL, by the way, for service you never got. It's a complete shyt show there. The lounge looks like someone's living room. Decorations are not well thought out. The owner definitely took the cheap route, and it extends to the service there. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go spend their hard earned money at this place. BE ADVISED: a 20% tip is included on the drink price, but the bartender will give you an unitemized receipt that just says total with a line for a gratuity like a restaurant that doesn't add a gratuity. If you ask for the itemized receipt it shows your order with the 20% gratuity included, which matches the unitemized receipt total above the gratuity line! This is really a shady practice. And all the bartenders do this as though they were trained on the practice. I'm probably going to report this to the NYS Attorney Generals Office.
