Mutual Detail saved my car!…read more I've totally neglected my vehicle for the last 3 years - maybe washing it only once (I know - horrible!). I park outside in an uncovered space, under a tree, and it gets pine needles, bird droppings, pine cones, sap, and has been growing moss (I know - gross!) in the rubber window seals. I have no excuses, really. Anyway - stumbled upon Mutual Detail when I was parking downtown in an underground garage for a show and got the business card. Months later, I finally booked a Complete Signature Detail and Mildew Removal, and so glad that I did. Mutual Detail was super responsive, asked great questions, requested my car overnight (totally fine cause I knew it would need a lot of work), and got to work. I picked up the next day, and it's like I have a brand new car - literally. It looks better than when I purchased used 3 years ago. And, amazingly, all the moss and mildew is completely gone. Thank you, Mutual Detail! Recommending you to all my friends.

They cleaned every single inch of my car. It looked perfect, smelled great. However, I noticed a chip of paint gone from under the driver side door. I alerted the cashier, she called over the detailer, and they quickly diagnosed. The car had never been power washed before, it was likely a paint bubble. They were apologetic immediately and quickly setup a time a week later and they would have the touch up paint to fix. That day was today. The fix looks perfect AND they washed my car again AND they touched up some rock chipped spots! I appreciated the entire experience and would 100% use them again. Not everything is perfect all the time, but it's how you react and treat your customers. They did everything right and I felt very well taken care of. I'll be back.

I just left Wayne's Service Center; this may sound strange but I am giving him an excellent review…read morebecause he refused to work on my old truck. He referred me to another specialty shop that was better equipped to repair my truck. I have used Wayne and his sons many times over the past 20 plus years. I have found them honest to a fault. When they have done work on my vehicles they have done excellent work, and they have stood by their work if anything did go wrong. I was a certified Ford Mechanic so I know when things are done right. I have given Wayne and sons many opportunities to rip people off, by sending my wife and several friends with car problems that could be easily misdiagnosed and overcharged. Wayne and sons have never taken the bait. Be prepared to schedule work out a week or two. I am not the only person that knows what a great shop this is.

Buffing black wax over pre-existing over spray clear coat spots from Ford isn't going to remove the spots and it didn't!!!!! The truck is still covered in them. Not to mention, they never cleaned inside the door jams, didn't lift the hood and cleaned the jams. I paid $400 and they NEVER even cleaned inside my truck!!!!!! Such a waste of money & time- why couldn't they have told Ford that there was NO way they do it instead of making them selves look ridiculously stupid. Save your time & money and go somewhere else!!!!!

UPDATED REVIEW: 12/21/16 According to Pat from Auto Shine…read moreDetail, they could not perform the detail I was expecting on my vehicle and unfortunately was a rushed job. Pat responded to my review, whom I got in touched with. He kindly offered to do a full work on my exterior and interior of my vehicle. The exterior detail was a lot better. The body, wheels, headlights, taillights and exterior trims are looking polished than ever. They have also fixed the runny grease inside of my vehicle and did a thorough wiped down. All of the missed spots were thoroughly cleaned and I am pleasantly surprised of the detail service this time around. REVIEW: 12/14/16 My car dealership arranged my car to be detailed with Auto Shine Detail(ASD). According to my car dealership ASD we're going to perform a interior and exterior detail. Btw, my car is brand new as I had just purchased it but we were given a complimentary detail thanks to our salesman at the dealership! On the day of picking up the car, we noticed right away the stench/smell of the interior. It was like a "wet damp rag that was used multiple times and left in an enclosed room" smell. Armorall was applied all over my dashboard and all over my car. As a result, my steering wheel was greasy and slippery to touch. Even my all weatherproof mats were greasy. They missed behind my steering wheel which was very noticeable. Parts of the rims were not thoroughly washed and wiped. There were little dirt or crumbs(not sure where it came from) still wedge in between the leather seats on the back passenger and this oily residue(which I think may be the dressing used on the interior) were leaking through the vents of my AC. Windows were streaky, gas and door jams were untouched. The only thing that was did correctly were the carpets as it was vacuumed thoroughly. According to the dealership, they didn't do a final wipe down or touched anything on the inside as it was solely by Auto Shine Detail. Overall, I am very disappointed with the detail performed and honestly I would rather do it myself the next time my dealership offers this "car detail" service unless it is performed by professional car detail technicians.

I found this place on Google- great reviews and close by, so I decided to check it out. Getting there was a bit tricky because of traffic (not his fault), but once we arrived, it was smooth sailing. The location is convenient, ground level and within walking distance of coffee shops and stores, which made the wait easy. He finished in about an hour and a half, and the truck looked absolutely brand new. He used products that were safe for the ceramic coating, which I really appreciated. Super friendly, professional, and personable. Prices were very fair for the quality of the work. I'll definitely be bringing my other vehicle here. Highly recommend if you're looking for a solid car detailing service in Seattle!
