My go to gas station. Easy enough to get in and out of. If you shop at Vons do not forget to use those rewards points before pumping your gas! It's saved me a significant amount per gallon which is always a great feeling. I've only ever had to go in once and the customer service is kind. read more

Chevron - a view of a parking lot from inside a car - Gas Stations Near Me - San Diego, California

Not impressed with Chevron. Filled up my gas tank and got a nasty surprise - the gas was watered down, causing my car to sputter. Staff seemed uninterested in helping. Prices aren't cheap either. Wouldn't recommend stopping here for fuel or anything else. 2/5 stars. Will take my business elsewhere. read more

Employees working their refuse to answer the phones or even simply provide answers to your questions. I was calling to see their current gas price and the guy who answered just stopped responding to me and left the phone down on the counter. He did this twice to me. After that he wouldn't answer the phone not matter how many times I called. What a real piece of work, how hard is it to answer a simple question. Garbage customer service... read more

Second place to answer about my squeaky brakes and the sound of metal against metal everytime I placed the brakes. They were a bit cheaper and did want to see and run a diagnostic like most everyone else. I asked if I could run a diagnostic at Auto Zone and take them the parts I purchase at Auto Zone and then declined. So I declined. But all in all pretty nice fellows. read more

worst customer service can't even politely notify a employee of an issue without getting a attitude.

I have been getting gas here for the past 3+ years, however yesterday had an unsettling encounter. Price was 3.99, then I put my rewards number in so it dropped to $3.79...HOWEVER, as soon as we started pumping price jumped to 3.89. Went in to talk to cashier and right away she put her head down and refused to talk to my husband. She said we needed to speak to a manager . She is obviously skimming money and we are not going to let this go. read more

This Chevron station has a large convenient store, car wash and there is even a service bay station right next to it (not sure if it's part of Chevron to be honest). According to Gas Buddy, it is averaged price to pay compared to other gas stations in the area. It is a busy location right off the 163. The way the property is positioned, it's difficult to get in and out depending what direction you are heading/going to, though the layout is pretty big for a gas station. Overall, I would go out of my way to get to this station if I felt like filling up at a Chevron. The prices are good and if you live within 10-15 minutes of this station, then I'd suggest coming here too. read more

Chevron - the reflection of a car on the hood of a car - Gas Stations Near Me - San Diego, California

This Chevron always has low gas prices usually any time I go Pretty big store on the inside also that pretty much looks like a convience store They also have a car wash/auto detail/repair shop on site Whenever I'm in the area I make sure to stop here & fill up read more

I was about to pay for tire air but then to with the people that work there told me that I could go inside and ask for the air complementary as a service. I thought that was so nice and it really made my day and really this is one of the best tire air pressure pumps I've ever seen in my entire life. Most of the time I go to a gas station and their air tire pressure machine isn't working or isn't working correctly. This place has great equipment and great servicemen. I'd like to go here and try their taco shop and maybe even use their other car services it looks like you can do oil changes and tune UPS and tires here as well read more

First, don't trust the sign with the gas prices that they put on Aero. It is the cash price and debit/credit is usually about 10 cents more per gallon. Second, expect that someone's going to try to sell you a windshield repair. Lately it's been girls that they put out for a complimentary windshield wash. After washing your window they're going to say you have a chip (no matter how small or nonexistent) and it will take 7 min to repair. It will not actually take 7 min. They're going to try to tell you that your insurance will pay for it. Don't fall for this crap. The car wash is decent but I skip this place and go to the 7-11 up the street. I am not interested in being solicited when I'm already paying $4.15 a gallon. read more

Worse Chevron than normal... About 10 cents per gallon higher here. The squeegy is old. The water is dirty and doesn't have any special cleaners. Positives include: large convenience store, good location just off the I-15, and next to taco bell. read more

For a gas station this place isn't bad. It's just a little crowded because it has an Express Tire, a car wash, a general gas station convenient store, and gets busy because of all the business in the area. I like it because it's close to work and I just pump and go. It's nice if you actually need your car washed, or need to get some maintenance done on your car--you can just walk across the street to grab a bite to eat, study, or run some errands. It's at a convenient location, but it can definitely get overwhelming sometimes, depending on the time of day. I try to keep my gas to Chevron at 91 Octane. read more

This place is shady and does a horrible job. They're not friendly whatsoever and just simply greased up my interior. The car still had bird dropping on it AFTER I did their most expensive hand wax $59.99 package. The sign says they will shampoo your interior and much more, I came to pick it up and find out THERE WAS STILL SAND on the carpet. For $60 worth, I've could've taken my car to another place for a much better wash and service. This service was worth no more than $25. I can't believe I found bird dropping still On the car after they have "waxed" it. They pretty much waxed over the bird poop and rushed the whole thing. NEVER COMING BACK. read more

Went into fill my tank. My prius took 11.75 gallons and it wasn't empty. I felt like there was a mistake as my car has never taken more than 10.5 gallons and I've been on empty before and this fill I was not on empty. I went into the chevron to talk to the employee, who kept on saying, "nothing I can do." I said that I wanted to talk to the manager and I left my name and phone number for the manager to call me. He never did. Terrible employee. Terrible service. read more

Windshield repair pushers aside, I have two gripes: 1) Preauthorized funds from a debit card, but couldn't pump gas due to some glitch. Went back to re-swipe, but declined. Asked them to cancel first transaction so I can re-preauthorize. Told me I would have to wait 3 business days for preauthorization to be cancelled. Left without pumping gas on an almost-empty tank. 2) Seperate day. Filled up my tank and walked in for cash back. Asked what the limit was. '$50. But ATM back there gives up to $200' Fine. I only need $10. Shopped around for something to buy to get cash back, even stalling at one point unti lthe line of 5 people died down. At the counter, 'There's a $1 surcharge for cash back.' The reason I bought something in the first place was to get cash back. 'The surcharge would be $2 without a purchase.' My thoughts: That's very crucial information that would have been useful from the beginning. Most anybody would say 'H311 NO!!!' If I had to pay $2 anyway, I wouldn't have made a purchase or waited in line. Lastly, how about giving a break to someone who just filled up their gas tank at your facility. I don't know if they are pulling some Debit scheme or truly incompetent, but I will avoid this place hereafter. That's saying a lot, as I work 1 mile away and frequented this place. read more

I had a very strange experience at this carwash. They offered 10 cents off the gas price with a carwash. Before you pay, they pump the gas at the regular price. They write down on a piece of paper the amount spent and the amount of gallons purchased. In order to get the discounted price, you have to go inside to for the transaction. So, I brought the receipt inside, they calculated the discount and they ran the transaction. Customer service was fine, polite. Then I ask if it's possible to get cash back for a tip, but they don't offer that service and suggested to use the in-store ATM. The ATM has a $2.50 which I did not want to pay. So I went back outside and asked the man who was finishing my car if I could buy him something from the shop because I didn't have cash for a tip. He asked for a Powerade. So I bought a 3 Powerade drinks for him, as they were on special. Anyway, when I picked up my car, my car wouldn't start. Very strange. So the guy calls to another worker and says battery. They keep looking back at each other for few minutes and I'm wondering if someone was going to help me. Then the other worker gets the battery charger and starts to recharge the battery. It fails a couple times then he calls another worker and it finally starts. This all happens like clockwork. After my car starts I ask the man what happened and he said it was my battery and that I should have it checked by their mechanic. I thank him for helping but that I will have my own mechanic check it out. Now, I try not to make assumptions but something felt off. I've recently had my car serviced. I have never had battery issues and my car is only one year old. My gut told me that something fishy had occurred. I feel bad because I went in feeling so light and walked out with negative energy. I don't know for sure if I was being scammed but I have learned to trust my intuition about things and so I will not be visiting that carwash/gas station again. I am not a mean person. In fact I may be too nice. So, if I am wrong and this was not scam for more business, I am sorry. And if something fishy was occurring, I hope people will change and choose do the honest and right thing. PS- The car wash itself was fair for $12.99. Not great, not horrible. It was definitely cleaner but there were more streak marks than I would want. read more

I just got done moshing my little heart out to Polaris and Parkway Drive (who were dope btw). So I have to pull off to get gas and go to chevron. I only have cash on me and I walk inside to pay but the doors were locked. I knocked on the door and held my cash up. The employee inside with the really weak beard just looked at me and shook his head as he kept walking. I then shouted and asked, "Can you at least tell me if these pumps take cash?". The employee with the really weak beard just looked at me and walked away. Crappy customer service. read more

Not the cheapest gas but I do love coming here for a car wash! The crew here do some mighty fine auto detailing for a good price. Fair prices for washes and very large convenience store as part of the gas station like a super gas station. read more

If only this could go into the below zero reviews because this place does not even deserve a single star. The customer service is absolute trash-what a complete lack of any kind of basic customer service. They love to play phone games and will either repeatedly hang up on you or leave you waiting without a single response. The guy working there on Sunday 8/28 afternoon middle of the day around 12:30pm has some of the worst manners I have ever seen, not just at a gas station, but in general. He is completely incapable of answering simple questions over the phone. He gets unbelievably angry over having to do his job that one has to wonder how he is even still working there. To the owner/manager: your employees are scaring away your customers to the point where you are losing business. It is no wonder why this place has such terrible reviews! If management was smart they would get rid of their dead weight and hire others who are more competent and not as horrible to the customers supporting this business . read more

This is a very good gas station and car wash. The woman that helped me, Elizabeth, was very kind and polite.

Well I've used this place a few times due to its one stop capability for gas, washing, and oil change. They do a 'good enough' job on the car wash part (the stuff they use on the dash and interior to make it shiny is extremely greasy. You will have residue on your hands), but don't expect to much. The oil change on the other hand... they used the wrong oil for my car! I have an Audi S4, it takes 9.5 qts of oil to change it. To spend $150 on an oil change and for them to get it wrong is inexcusable. I did catch it from the window sticker reminding me for my next oil change. To there credit they did do another oil change (with the proper oil this time) for free with out question. If you use them, watch them close. read more

My second scathing review for this "one stop shop". The car wash is shady, this place is just plain crooked. I've caught them several times lying about my transmission fluid and tires to get more money out of me. For example I took my car to my mechanic after taking it to these guys and he showed me what a horrible job they did on my brakes. They tell you your transmission fluid is bad when it's NOT. And they tried to tell me I needed new tires (my tires are all new 80% tread) and subsequently didn't do the tire rotation that I paid for. Please everyone, go somewhere else! I know I am read more

This location has a large Extra Mile store with a lot of stuff, from normal stuff like soda and candy all the way to Virgin Mary statues and San Diego souvenirs. There are 12 pumps, but still can get crowded. The air and water fill machine is next to a customer parking space, so often it's unusable because someone parked there. The employees are nice and the place is usually pretty clean. Overall this is a good one. read more

I like this place because it's close, but why do they close so early? I went there at about 11pm or so a few times and the place was closed. *sigh* read more

I usually just pass by this gas station on my way to Walmart. I did notice that their gas prices are lower than others since I live in the South Bay. Yesterday I gased up and their regular unleaded gas is $4.09 compared to where I usually get (7-Eleven) which is $4.11. 7-Eleven is where I usually get the cheapest gas. I dislike going to Arco and choose to go somewhere else. This Chevron also has a car wash and a oil change station. I have been to the car wash a few times and they always seem to do a good job. read more

Horrible place for car wash. The vacuuming sucked. The wash itself was bad. Do not go there not worth it. Also I had lottery tickets that I needed them to check and I think they told me I won less than I had won. Be very careful with these cheating people. I should have read the reviews. read more

Went here expecting to pay the advertised price on the board but they're very deceitful about the price. It says in tiny letters with car wash purchase. They only put the good price on the board to look competitive to other places because the real price is at least 20 cents more which can mean a lot when you're filling up. Very aggravated with this sort of business practice read more

I miss eating from Tabe bbq when they had their shop inside the convenience store. Just a normal gas station with average prices and 12 pumps. Most annoying thing about this place would be the people constantly trying to wash your windows/look for cracks in your windshield while you pump gas. I don't understand why the owners would allow them to bug customers who are trying to get their gas and go. read more

Worst gas station ever. Love chevrons gas and all but the pumps are in disrepair (pump 5 is broken without signage indicating it's broken even after telling the cashier who is aware of the issue ) and I have time to post this while the gas pumps at 1 gallon per minute. Don't come here. read more

Worst car wash I have ever had and the most expensive. I paid 34.99 to have the not wash my windows or if they did they made them worse then they were, water spots every where and areas on the car that didn't even look like the car had been washed. Will not be going there again even though it's less then a mile from where I am staying while working on a project in San Diego. Oh yeah they try to up sell you everything - additional 25.00 to wash your carpets an additional 35.00 to do a complete detail - glad I didn't take them up on any of them. read more

I don't know what's up with the low reviews. Can you find another premium gas station for a lower price? Let me know if you do. I worked in this area and this place consistently has the best prices (for cash that is). Not bad considering it's right next to the freeway, which are usually the most expensive. All i have to say is I wish it was closer to my home. read more

CONSUMERS BEWARE! Last week I put in debit card in pump 10 only to get hacked. Someone put a skimmer in this pump, copied my card, and charged over $900 to an embrodery company in LA. Guy named Leo at the counter yelled at me when I asked if I could get an extra stamp because I forgot to tell them to stamp my card last time I had my car detailed and washed. He couldn't say "no" nicely, he had to yell. I would of taken a nice no but he yelled, "no you should of told us last time." I said, wow, that's bad customer service and then he began to yell louder saying people spend 300 Dollars Here we don't give a shit about your 150. I'm a business owner myself and have been my whole life, you don't treat people that way. I wasn't even mad about one stupid stamp it wasn't a big deal at all. Shocking to get yelled at for one simple question. I live in Encinitas and work north of the gas station, I can't believe I went out of my way to get treated like that. Looks like he hates life and wants to take it out on the customers. The guy I talked to about it outside said he yells at people all the time. Like I said originally, that's really bad customer service and I'm going to tell everyone I know. You don't have to stamp my card but don't yell at me for no reason. read more

The technicians here seriously are the best. I was pumping gas one evening after work and I had my 3 year old in the back. I was told to always lock your doors when pumping gas because when you aren't paying attention, someone can go in to your passenger side and steal your purse. I took the keys out of the ignition to avoid the dinging noise and I locked the doors. I put the keys in the cup holder and left the driver door open. I started pumping gas and walked by the driver door and for some STUPID reason, I closed it. I was locked out of my car with my son inside! Luckily it wasn't hot, it was very cool and we were in the shade but I panicked and ran inside for help. The cashier grabbed some technicians and they grabbed a tool kit to break in to my car. There was slight damage to my car but I didn't care. They got me in to my car right away. Thankfully my son was perfectly fine, actually laughing at all of us the entire process. The staff thought quickly and kept me calm and helped me in a very scary situation. read more

This is one of "those places" that you go to because there is nothing else around. The people that work here are very cocky and unfriendly. It seems as a family owned operation and they just don't care about customer service. The car wash is 50/50, depends of they wash their rags that day. Also while waiting for your vehicle to be washed, it smells like dead animal outside ALL THE TIME!!! The worst smell EVER!!! They also so charge $3.00 to get cash back to tip their own people. Which says a lot about how they treat the guys outside that are doing all the work. Just come here if I have to. Otherwise I wouldn't suggest it. read more
