They display the lower prices that you would get with a car wash, but their actual prices are quite a bit more I think like 20cents more or something which adds up. Very inconvenient entrance and exit with a right turn only making it annoying to get back to the main road. Not many pumps and looks not very well maintained. I'd avoid this one. DO NOT come here for a car wash!! The man who works here tried scamming me today. I decided to get a car wash because you get a discount if you get it with gas. I got my code and punched it in. The machine wouldn't turn on for me. The man working the car wash asked for my receipt and then turned on a button. When I was all done he started to dry my car and then the car wash didn't start for the person behind me. He claimed that, I stole the persons car wash behind me and started to yell at me! I was so confused?? How could I steal his car wash? I paid for mine, put the code in and went into the machine. It is not my fault- you skipped mine and went to his (he got the fanciest one) He took my receipt and refused to give it back. I snapped a photo before. He wanted me to pay again. They're located in the same plaza as Habaneros and Gazua Sushi. We visited Gazua again for happy hour but definitely needed gas on drive back. It's an ok location but the entrance/exit for the pumps are tricky. You might have to wait for the person in front, pumping gas, to finish before you can drive off (if someone is behind you pumping or waiting for gas). Prices are higher (but I usually go to 7-Eleven). Computer screen worked fine for paying. No issues there. And was happy that the receipt actually printed at end. There's also a car wash. Thankfully I didn't try as I'm reading through the awful car wash reviews now. Overall, a decent convenient gas station. read more

I needed gas, a fast car wash and to shop for groceries. Since everything I needed was in the same shopping center I decided to fill up and get a car wash here. You get $.20 off of gas if you buy any car wash. Cool, at least I'll be saving a few bucks. I paid for gas and opted for the basic wash ($5). You have to go inside to get a receipt with the car wash code. (It doesn't come out of the gas pump, unfortunately.) There was a long line for the wash, but at least the code is available for 2 weeks. When I drove up to the machine to enter my code, you can barely hear what the machine was saying. You are able to enter your code while there is another wash going on. There is no cash option to pay for a wash as there was a sign to say that you would need to pay inside. Also the machine was all taped up so you cannot pay cash either. The wash did a sh*tty job. I left the wash with so many streaks! No wonder as you exit there's a little station with a squeegee for your windows. I did the calculations at home whether the .20 off was worth it. The car wash is TERRIBLE. I've came here 3 times already and the car wash does 3 things bad: 1. The soap residue does not wash off all the way so i had to go somewhere else to hose my car. 2. The machine STOPS which also left all the soap on my car, and the attendant leaves before Chevron even closes so i couldn't get anybody to run the water. 3. The drying dosent dry effectively which is why they probably have a guy out there wiping down your car after you go through the machine (top this guy, he does something right) I've already invested so much time & money on this crappy car wash on the last 3 occasions so now I'm not going back. This Chevron has falsely advertised their food and drink prices on many occasions, attempting to charge me more than their clearly advertised price. This includes after inputting my reward phone number, which is needed for the deals/discounts. Multiple times has the final total been much more than it should of been. They have prices/deals listed around the store, 2 for $X or 3 for $Y, yet they do not uphold those prices. I've tried to show the attendant each time about the advertisements at the entrance, but not a single time have they looked. The pre-tax values at the register have been consistently higher than the advertised pre-tax price. They are actually trying to scam customers. If you are in a hurry, or happen to not look, or pay with cash for gas too and say something along the lines of "Put the rest on 3", then this Chevron is actively lying and charging you more than they say they are. If this happens once or twice, that's understandable, it could just be an error. But the amount of times this has occurred to me at this location is truly astounding. read more

This is personally the first hands free car wash where I can stay in my car and get it dried thoroughly. Excellent idea!! They hooked it up, especially with Covid-19 social distancing. Employees are friendly here, I like that they do the gas program with Von's/Safeway for saving money on gas. However, the car wash is consistently broken or under repair: I've since given my business with regards to car wash to shell right down the way because of its disrepair. It was a huge inconvenience to come here and have the car wash broken after having already paid for the wash previously. I will continue to be a gas patron. Been coming here for a while now because of the Vons club card .20 discount per gallon. Sometimes it was cheaper than driving all the way to Costco. The car wash is decent. They started to offer a hand dry only on busy days, which is awesome. I see some complain that the wash has broken something on their car or just not so great. You get what you pay for and it is a machine. I was going to give this location 3 stars however recently my credit cards have been having suspicious activity, one card I only use for gas, and few weeks later I had activity on my card for Los Angeles and Orange counties. The only reason I'm giving this place stars is because of the car wash guy. He's a really hard worker and he's probably the best employee they have. (7/24/2020) Tonight I went into the store around 8:35, I noticed that the cashier was starting to lock the doors. I asked if she was closing and she said in a few mins, I let her know I was getting some milk and then she murmured something and I proceeded to grab the milk and I also got chips. When I returned to the register she stated "I thought you were only getting milk." Keep in mind it was 8:40 now at that time. So do they close at 8 or 9? Was she just trying to leave early? Who knows. Regardless of the situation her customer service skills lack in every aspect. Every time I've try going at night, no one is ever there. They end up closing early around 7-8. Pretty bad car wash service. We paid $10 for premium car wash and check out the pictures it is terrible. We asked the front desk cash lady and she provided a code and it did the car wash again and same thing again. There is just not enough water spray to remove the foam. The machine is not tuned in. Also our side mirror almost broke. I told the front desk lady it is not working again and she started to argue with me and asked me to call manager on Monday. I told her I don't have time and she acted as if she is doing favor to by providing a code and declined to provide me a refund when asked politely. This car wash machine is not tuned to work atleast when we showed up this case the case. We felt cheated completely. We lost our money and most importantly we lost the time apps 1 hour which is precious. I wish the manager takes action to fix this to future customers are not cheated. read more

I've been coming to this Chevron because of the discounts you get using your Vons rewards card. Standard gas station. The review and five stars are really for the employee who is waiting to wipe down your car after the car wash! + It's a "soft-touch", drive-thru wash. At no point in time did I feel like my car was being beaten to death (like most gas station car washes). + $0.20/gallon if you are making a gas purchase first! + The employee wiped down the entire exterior of my SUV with towels and window sprays. My car looked like I had just paid a visit to a much pricier hand wash establishment! + He smiled and waved when my car was ready and off I went! + I felt bad not having cash on me to give him a tip ... next time I'll be prepared! + Car washes were reasonably priced at 5, 7 or 9 dollars. + Free vacuum station for car wash patrons. I never could understand why Chevron's prices are at least 10-20 cents higher than other gas stations. Is it the Techron, or something else entirely? Be that as it may, I filled up over here this weekend because I had a gas discount from Vons... or so I thought. When I went to put in my discount number, it didn't work. Not happy, but as I needed to fill up, I stuck around. I said there's no point to get another wash because it doesn't even clean anything. The joke was that I got one of the fancier washes so that it cleans and dries better. Yeah right. It couldn't have happened at a worse time. I'm working late Friday night, trying to wrap up a deadline before I beeline out the door to meet a girl I just met for a first date. Time is running out so I turn off my PC and race out of the building. I walk towards my car and immediately feel like something isn't right. Something is very, very wrong. Oh my God... Thank God the automatic car wash at this Chevron station is open after 8:00. I hurriedly throw seven dollars at the attendant before returning to my poop-mobile. I pass by a woman and child in a nearby parked car. She notices my Ford Feces and averts her child's gaze. I whisper, "Pray for me!" to her and get back in the car. I enter the car wash and firmly lodge my vehicle onto the guide rails. Water erupts from a dozen rotating sprinklers and coats the car with a money-shot detergent solution. Water and shit are flying everywhere not unlike an Escalade-sized bidet. I'm franticly looking around to ensure nothing is leaking inside. It's a terrifying, emotional experience whose end cannot come soon enough. Before too long the loud whooshing of the automatic driers is blasting my car dry. The carwash is over. I park nearby, take a deep breath and slowly open my car door. I peer outward cautiously like a family in Kansas emerging from a storm cellar after a tornado. "Is it safe, Mama?" To my complete and utter surprise, the car is spotless. There is nary a trace of bird dropping anywhere to be found. The droplets of water falling from the car's chassis mirror the tears of joy falling from my cheek. It's going to be OK after all. I had purchased the $7 wash that's supposed to give a spot-free rinse - well it does not; it's more like a spot-add on rinse. AND it doesn't clean your car well - my car was given dirt streaks by their bristles and yellow bird-poo spots still reign, along with water spots all over windows and car...and soap was still left on the back trunk. Thanks to a seagull that I think had some very dire intestinal issues I needed to run through a quick car wash. On my way in to work I stopped by. I saved $.10/gallon thanks to my Vons rewards & $.20/gallon with the car wash. The Car Wash ranges from $5, $7, & $9 Before heading into the car wash a guy washes your tires with a brush and the same guy hand dries your car as well which saves you the trouble of having to speed out of the parking lot like a bat out of hell hoping the drops of water don't settle. NOW the 5 stars goes directly to the guy that hand dried my car. I've been to car washes before that have the courtesy hand dryers but they basically wave a towel over your car and call it a day. This guy broke out with the Windex, sponges & step stool to make sure every speck of bird poop was gone. A+! The man who usually runs the register in this gas station must be the kindest gas station attendant I have ever. My every interaction with him has been characterized by kindness. I paid for the car wash and I somehow neglected to print my receipt, so I went in and explained and he printed out my receipt right away, kindly explained how to use the code at the bottom to get my car wash, and he gave me an air freshener to boot! I guess because I got the supreme deal, but I didn't know it came with an air freshener and it was a really nice deal. Makes my day when I go in there to ask for help with the air or something because he is so nice (I feel so bad I didn't get his name, I noticed his ankle was in a brace, must be tough vein on his feet with that). I love the car wash deal (20 cents less per gallon if you buy a $5-9 car wash, and the vacuums are always free!). It makes my car look so shiny and it really gives me a pick me up combined with the good deal. At 20 cents per gallon I end up saving about $2-3 most of the time so it's not like I get a free car wash, but hey I wanted my car cleaned and for a net $2-5 it's a really wonderful deal because after you go through the employee wipes down your car with towels to make it really shine. Its a gas station. I no longer use my credit card at the pump because of credit card skimmers that were placed inside of their machines. This is no fault of the gas station, just annyoying when it happens, now I just pay inside. The inside of the station is cramped and they have a lot of display stations. Never use this car wash! I chose option 2 which includes under carriage blow out. Just a few hours later the plastic part that is bolted to the undercarriage for protection is dragging on the ground . The next day I went to the two managers both store and district happened to be there. I was basically laughed at and offered a free car wash . To that I replied " you couldn't pay me to put my car thru there again" and walked away . Neither of them made any other attempt to rectify or stop me.
