Something is extremely fishy here and I'm adamant now that the cashier is a thief. I came in to pay and I noticed the cashier still hadn't finished ringing the other guys cash transaction. He still had the cash in his hands when he rung me up (this is where I think he steals it) Twenty dollars paid in cash for gas and when I went to the pump the gas was already pumped. When I went back to get it reset so I could get my gas I was told no you already got your gas. I was brought back to the managers office and we looked at the cameras for twenty minutes while I was having a panic attack and in tears. I was given every excuse under the sun that it's my gas meter and that I was there long enough to get my gas. I have been since trying to get ahold of upper management. A manger from another location called, but was already told the story and was partial to the other manager. Nothing was resolved and as of now still waiting to hear from someone. This gas station is a total dishonest scam. I fill up gasoline and purchase a car wash om 9/30/19 and paid with my Credit Card for a total of $ 64.46( Fuel $54.51 + Car wash $9.95). After fill up, I went to the car wash and found out that it's closed. So I went to the cashier to ask my money back $9.95 for car wash, he answered: " car wash charge is final, not refundable" ????? He suggested me to call ARCO corporation. I called the next day, they give me the claim # 264486 and guaranteed that the franchise owner at this location will call me back within 24hrs to give me a refund. Nothing happening until now. I looked up transaction history on my credit card and found out: besides the $ 64.46, there is a transaction that they charge me another $ 2.09 ????? The owner of this station is very dishonest. I'm sure that there are a lot of other customers not aware of another small charge on their credit card. Can someone help to get law enforcement to involve in this gas station practice? read more

I used to be a loyal customer here until my horrible experience tonight. I was pumping the gas when the machine suddenly stopped mid pump and asked if I wanted to print my receipt. The tank wasn't anywhere near full and my card was charged the already bogus "convenience" fee. I went to see the useless attendant and he insisted that I had replaced the pump, which was why it stopped and gave me a receipt. I showed him that the pump had never left the tank and was in fact still in the car and the surveillance video proved it. Despite that he still accused me of gaming their system and would do absolutely nothing about it. Instead, he told me I had to run my card again, get charged another fee, and then run it till the pump stopped again, just so I could repeat the hellish process over again. Needless to say, I said f- it and left without spending another cent there. This minimum wage moron just lost his company a frequent customer over a $0.45 fee and a faulty pump. F- this place and f- that guy, I'm never coming back. read more

I needed a fill up and this is the cheapest premium in the area. Unless I go super early in the morning, late in the evening or just plain desperate, I'm not coming back. Super busy and people take forever to pump, pay or get their change. There was a chick just sitting in her car after she got her gas. At least move so other peeps who are waiting can get gas and go! Cheap gas - always a plus! But, like the rest of the am/pm chain, get your debit cards ready, as they don't take credit cards. At least this location is pretty clean and relatively not that busy, with plenty of pumps. But, if you want some munchies, go in the morning or during the day - apparently, they don't put any hot food out at night. So frustrated! It offers you a car wash and a lower price per gallon at 10:48 on a Sunday morning but the car wash isn't open on Sundays... What on earth?! The cashier was happy to show me that all sales are final on their stupid sign by the register and then tell me about the small writing of hours on the gas pump that has so much writing I didn't realize I had to stop to read everything before their pump was offering me a car wash and they were advertising it so why take money from me but they're not open? Of course the manager isn't here until Monday after 8am. I just don't know why it's even an option coming up on the pump to them trick you like that to just rip me off... I received terrible customer service at this ARCO gas station and will not be going here again. I used to be a loyal customer because of ARCO's cheap prices and convenient location. However, one night I stopped in to fill up and used the cash pay station (you are charged a $.045 fee to use a debit card), and the machine ate my cash without giving me the credit. I went inside to ask if the assistant manager could help me out. She said that the cash machine has never done anything like that before and accused me of lying. She said that she could do nothing for me and asked me to come back and personally ask the manager Nick to look into the issue. I understand that she may not have been able to do anything for me that night. But I would have appreciated it if she could have been more helpful and told him herself instead of asking me to do it and not have accused me of wrongdoing. I called the next morning, talked to Nick to discuss my issue and came back later in the day to get my money back. When I came back, the assistant manager was there. She gave me my money back but was rude to me again. I called her out on it, but she was defiant. It's unfortunate the customer service here is so terrible. I would rather pay more as insurance that I'll get better service if something happens. Save your pennies and go to the Chevron across the street! read more

Be careful getting gas from this place. I stopped by here the other night and put my card in the automated pay machine, and the machine ate my card. I could hear the machine whirring trying to either get the card all the way in or out, but the machine was jammed, and it just sat inside the machine and buzzed. I went inside to see if the cashier could help me out, and at first she thought I'd put my card into the money slot, which I thought was kind of stupid, but apparently a lot of people have done this and she knew how to fix that easily. She went and asked another coworker to help her out, and the coworker basically said that a manager would have to come and help get the card out, but since it was the weekend, no one was around, and I'd have to wait until Monday to get my card, IF they could get it out. I couldn't believe it. This gas station is nowhere near where I live. And I don't know how she expected me to just leave my credit card in there, hoping that there wouldn't be an off chance that it wouldn't pop out for someone else to randomly take. The matter of fact way she told me how things would go down made it apparent that this wasn't the first time something like this had happened before. NO GOOD!! The first girl came out from the back and said she had an idea-- we went outside, and with a light from her smartphone and some tweezers she had in her purse, there was a long struggle, but finally we were able to tweeze my card out of the machine. Crazy!! The Chevron across the street charges a lot more per gallon of gas, but in the end, at least I could buy gas from them without having to tinker with their machines with makeshift tools in the cold on a Saturday night. :-P Anyway, a BIG thank you to the kind girl who had the ingenuity to bust out a pair of tweezers on this random task. Across am/pm is the best place to get gas, always cheaper than the competition. This specific location is has easy access to the 805 and is easy to get in and out of. The only downside/ drawback to am/ pm is that they charge a fee to use the plastic which sucks if you don't carry cash most of the time. read more

Service at the cashier is friendly and welcoming. Some people working at gas stations have no enthusiasm &just go to work to do their job. When I came here the cashier greeted me with a smile and tried sparking friendly conversation. Downside of ARCO is that they take debit and cash only. No credit cards. So if you're like me and use your credit card to receive points for purchasing gas, ARCO isn't your place to go. But, service was friendly it sparked my day. read more

I don't do yelp reviews much or quite often but, with the experience I've had coming to this ampm I can honestly say they are really nice people and welcoming. went in the buy a disposable hyppe bar and got two. the lady said if I wanted to open them and try them to make sure they work before I leave I could. I was shocked that she said that because normally people don't do that and it's a hit and miss with product not working. it made me happy that she let me do that. they understand and value their customers wants and needs, always wanting to make sure people leave satisfied. This place is pretty good. I needed flex fuel, and they had the Pearson Flex fuel. And a really good price too. A dollar less per gallon than conventional fuel. They also have air for tires and and window washer solution to clean windows. They do charge more for credit/ debit but it's Arco and it's almost as cheap as everything, except for Costco Gas, except if you need flex fuel because Costco does not have E-85. Service was nice. 5 stars. And they were open really late too! read more

What a bunch of bull$hit. I stop by this Arco gas station today, stuck my ATM card in the machine and it did not come back out! I go inside to tell them expecting them to come out and get my card out of the machine. The people that work there were like oh nobody can open it come back tomorrow morning and get your card. Yeah right that's going to happen! Their attitude was so fuc$ed up. So as I'm standing there telling person after person not to stick their card in the machine while I'm on the phone with Wells Fargo canceling my card, I just love how they didn't even come out and put an out of order sign on the machine. I usually find this to be a friendly place to pick up a soda and some chips but tonight I was totally ignored by the girl sales associate. She was on her phone all the time I was in the store. This Arco needs to get it together. I went to fill up today after I got off work. The pay island closest to the pump I was using was out of order for debit cards so I went inside to pay. I waited in line for 10 to 15 minutes due to a issue that was similar to my experience that I am about to describe. So I'm up next in line, I ask to fill up for my pump number with my debit card. The payment gets declined, even though I know I have money in my debit card. I try again, same thing happens. I ask if the system is down because a customer had the same issue before me, the attendant says no. I ask to use the other attendant's register, and yet again the same thing happens. So instead of just letting me know the system is down for debit cards they tell me I am pressing something incorrect making the payment decline. At this point it has been 30 minutes since I have arrived at the station so I go back outside. Look at the other payment island and notice it is not out of order. I enter my pumper number and pin and the payment goes through. In hindsight I should have checked the other pay island first, but the fact that the Jar-Jar Binks minded attendants said it was my fault because I was pressing a wrong button is ludicrous. read more
