Gas nozzle didn't automatically shut off when filling up my tank at pump 7. Gas splashed back all over my work clothes. Gas station attendant, Sushil, disputed the malfunctioning equipment and the gas volume wasted. They left the pump functioning and didn't take it out of service. Just put sand over the spilled gas and told me to leave when I offered to prove it to him. I reported this to Chevron. Don't come here. read more

Rich was working he slammed my change on counter and said he don't have time for you people!Who is you people?He was hollering and screaming at me and using profanity and telling me to get out of his store and that he will call the police on me and that I didn't live in the neighborhood and then I wouldn't be back because I don't live here. For a gas station just right off the 5 freeway, their prices have been fair, which is smart because their competition is not far (just across the street). What I like about this gas station is the fact that it doesn't seem to be ridiculously busy even during rush hour. I also love the fact that they offer free air and water. I have uneven tire pressures and I've been taking advantage of the free air every time I fill up on gas. Other gas stations either charge a quarter for each use of air/water or make you come in the store to have them turn it on for you each time. This station doesn't seem to be a hangout for weirdos or creeps (but who knows, I don't hang around long enough to find out). read more

Stopped here late at night to get gas with my mom on our way home. My mom asked to go to the bathroom and the man at the counter has to buzz her in. 5 mins later I hear her screaming! She told me she kept pressing the bell for the man to buzz her out, he would not. I run straight to the man working at the counter wearing a trucker hat and clear glasses to told him to let her out. He nonchalantly says "Yeah, I have to let her out." I go ahead and ask him when is that because you're just eating your burrito... Just called to ask if they did cash back. The employee on the other line asked me "Depends how much you talkin about," and he said it depends on the amount of cash in the register, I told him I needed $65. He straight up gave me attitude telling me, "I can't give you that!?" He said it like he was talking down to me, and as if I was insane for needing that amount, and as if getting cash back was an absurd and rare thing for someone to ask a store ?? Who talks to customers This way? Plus, who speaks to customers with such attitude? Such an asshole, he's lucky I just hung up and that I chose not to speak to a manager. Never going there. Conveniently located right off the 5 freeway off Avenida Pico. Nice spacious gas station with plenty of gas pumps and the best part, reasonable prices. Convenient as it is between LA and San Diego, which can come in handy if you happen to need gas. If You're low on gas do full up as the next available gas station will be found in Oceanside if you happen to be heading South. Free water and air and a convenience store with a big variety of drinks, snacks, coffee and water and the basic necessities like aspiring or candy. Nice clean bathroom facilities can also be found here. read more

Went to fill up gas with a Benjamin, cashier said of it does not take all the money she did not have change to give me. So I had to give only $40.00 instead and fill up the truck just a bit. They need to look into having change for customers. read more

It is 90 degrees in San Clemente today which is very rare. We are having a heat wave here in southern California and Rosa who appeared to be a supervisor, due to different color shirt that the other female employee was wearing, and who quickly corrected my husband that they no longer have "water" from the soda fountain dispensary to obtain with our own plastic cup. I was standing near by and heard the commotion and quickly came up to my husband, looked back at Rosa and asked her why we couldn't have water. She just shook her head NO. It's hot out and all I could immediately think of was the homeless. Shame on Chevron for telling Rosa to not allow people "water" of all things on such a hot day!!!! I will never go into that station again. Dishearted customer. read more

Make sure you don't come in traffic time. What I like about this gas station is that it is right on the highway. The store next door has bathroom which is an advantage for someone who drive along the highway read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. 9pm crew was rude as hell. Oscar never answered my questions, just gave attitude, and the lady kept staring. Bathrooms were clean.....which is usually the only reason i write a review on a gas station. Its pretty easy to get off of the freeway then back on it from this gas station heading north or south, south being easier. Staff usually isnt all that helpfull or friendly which is why the 4stars. Last time i went in the gas tenant was talking on the biz phone to a friend about going out or something. He did stop talking to help but really not that professional. I know work gets boring but text bra much less noticable. read more
