The person pumping gas at 7pm on 11/6 was extremely rude. He came out of the office, I rolled down my window and he walked right by to undo the gas cap. Then he went to the passenger window wanting payment. My passenger kept telling him to go around but he refused, then began yelling across the car to roll down the window. I wasn't interested in doing that so I left and paid more money elsewhere for better service. There are multiple reasons why wanting me to do that meant nothing. 1. He wasn't wearing a mask at all so if he was trying to keep 6 feet from the driver, it wouldn't have mattered for at least two reasons alone. 2. My passenger didn't want to deal with him not wearing a mask and they weren't paying 3. The driver is paying so you need to walk around (or have done so when he walked around the car the first time.) 4. There were literally no other customers on site while this was happening so I'm not sure why he continued to insist on getting his way. Nothing was forcing him to speed up by 4 seconds of taking 10 steps. I've had issues from communicating the grade of fuel from across the car that caused the location to refund all my money and reprimand the employee. This location is the same price as a few others not too far away (chevrons and others) so please choose one of them! read more

They get 5 stars for several reasons but probably in this order: 1. cheapest near my work or near my home 2. friendliest gas staff in all of Portland and very hard working - are fast to get you in and out but always offer to clean your windshield if it's not crazy busy 3. easy access from the Hwy 26 on and off in my opinion (good to stop on the way to the beach) 4. staff is clearly marked as Chevron employees - okay this sounds odd but I stopped at a 76 once on TV Hwy and a guy walked up and asked me for my credit card, he did not have any marking that he worked there. I've been purchasing gas for about 13 years now...In that time, I have dealt with complete morons, dudes with attitudes (I literally warned a guy in Eugene that he was about to get his ass kicked), and have hung up my own gas nozzle due to employee's becoming over whelmed and forgetting about their customers... This gem of a gas station shatters every one of those horrible experiences... I pass this every day on my way to and from work. Not only have I never had to wait for a pump, I have never been treated rude, I am called "Sir" every time I go there, if there's not a lot of business it's common that they will squeegie my windshield, I have had the air turned on for free about 3 or 4 times, and the price of gas here is so cheap, that even by going to Arco, I save .01 by going here because of the .35 debit fee that Arco has. Not that saving a penny is some great thing, but I would rather have the higher quality gas. Easy access on and off of 26, great prices, great service!! read more

I never thought I would say WOW about getting gas but I am there today. A few weeks ago I dropped by here to grab some gas on my way downtown. The gentleman pumping starts my gas and let's me know that my back tire is dangerously low...thanks guy! I did not even notice so I was grateful enough he pointed it out. Then, he shocked me further by asking me to back up really quick so he can, at no charge fill the tire with air...wow. I could have had a blow out or worse. I wish more places cared! read more

Yes, gas stations need some review love too! I try to frequent this particular location because it is rather convenient for my work commute. The price is usually very low compared to the other (non-discount gas stations"(i.e. arco, random no name places). They are located right off the Murray exit of Hwy 26. Below you will find a short list of positives and negatives pertaining to this Chevron Station. Good: -Cheap, competitive prices -Conveniently located -Interesting humanized car commercials - One word "Techron" (I still have no idea what it does but it makes me sound like I know what I am talking about. It also makes my little car happy) - Staff that works hard to help lines go quickly - Nice color scheme is rockin' Chevron Bad: - Not open 24 hours...actually closes before midnight I am pretty sure - If after gassing up you want to head South on Murray the location makes it awkward to merge back onto Murray. - The commercials are not that funny if you see the same ones 12,470,987 times. - No convenience store found at this location, but rather a soda machine. I just left this Chevron... while getting my gas pumped the two attendants working were having a conversation (which required yelling because of the distance between them)- they were talking about the presidential election and one said to the other, "I'm going to keep my gun loaded so I can take care of any anti-Trump people I meet." I said that was not an appropriate conversation to have at work (I'd suggest that's not appropriate anywhere...but certainly not at work in front of customers) and one of them proceeded to tell me off... all class, guys. read more

I have been going to this Chevron for over 8 years. Super conveniently located and for the most part polite employees. I've encountered some very rude employees especially this weekend. I pulled up about 9pm Saturday night, the attendant was on a personal call on his cell phone. Finally pumped my gas and helped another customer. My gas was done and I looked for the attendant as I was in a hurry, he was in the office still on his cell. I got out of my truck and removed the gas nozzle and put my gas cap back..attendant still on the phone. I say to him "maybe you could have better customer service if you weren't on a personal call" he says u don't know if I was on a personal call, to which I replied if you're telling someone you are still at work, I doubt you were talking to your boss. He got rude told me F You and called me the B word. Trust the GM will be receiving a call from me this morning. Everyone is entitled to have a bad day, but blatant disrespect and cursing at a patron is completely intolerable! read more

Where has customer service gone. Went to the Chevron on Murray in Portland Oregon. I had three 5 gallon gas tanks to fill. I could tell the attendent didn't want to help me. I got a twenty dollar bill out to tip him for his help. When he got done he handed me my reciept and started walk away. ( I was the only customer at the pumps). I was a regular loyal customer of this station for years. However in the past year the service has gone downhill. I put up with the hassle of getting in and out of their location due to their better prices. However, over the past year you rarely find all the pumps open (half are blocked off with cones) so there's usually a line of cars squeezed into their small space. Tonight, I was in line behind the second car at the pumps (only two pumps per side). The first car left so I pulled around to use the first pump that was just vacated. I started to back into the pump and then the attendent yells at me to pull around into the line I just came from while he proceeds to put a cone down so now there's only 3 working pumps and a line of cars waiting. The prices used to keep me coming but those days are over. The workers aren't the same quality as those found at other stations, maybe that's way there's always a "Hiring" sign propped up on the street. I'm finding a new place to get my gas. read more
