This was unexpectedly a great experience because I did it all myself and did not annoyingly overpay. I did sort of do it wrong... Ok, I avoid ARCO, I do...because they are usually arranged poorly from the start and people drive in and out like they are trying to run you down. They have two different prices for cash and card but to do cash you HAVE to go inside and deal with whatever angry human they shove behind that register (and I have had some insanely nasty ARCO employees) making the extra money savings not at all worth it....especially now that you have to walk in to pay, walk out to pump your own gas and then go back in to get your change! SOOOOOO, imagine my surprise at this location that I use my debit card and get UNDER the posted cash price...WHAT??!? I get to pump my own gas (yes, I am one of the crazy folks who prefers to pump their own gas!) but it is soooo cheap. Another thing I did not like about ARCO is that they ping hold a ridiculous amount on a card - and I get it...I pull up and see the person prior to me spent $80+ to fill their tank but I fill for under $30 even when prices are truly tragic so I did like that I can enter my "fill" amount. The downside was that I figured I would just add $15 an go to one of my actual super cheap gas spots when over on that side of town... and then I see that nope, I am getting a cheaper than that price. So I fill the $15, replace the nozzle, grab it again - rerun the card for another $15 and it draws another $8.13 to actually fill my tank. I am so happy to know the secret though - use your debit card! This is close to home too, runs all night and I love having gas up options. read more

The girl that works here not sure exactly her name but Nessy idk her name. Well anyways she always rolling her eyes at customers and not helping them. Sits on her phone and texts. Well I said someone's in a bad mood today and she ended up calling the cops on me. Three cop cars came looking for me they weren't happy. 2 days prior she called the cops on a homeless person doing nothing wrong. She said she was working on her day off and She has bronchitus. Then why you working that's highly contagious. Anyways she just didn't like that I said something so she called the cops on me. Drama queen! Hope corporate looks into her. Shouldn't be sitting texting ignoring customers and rolling her eyes. We are trespassed until we get it in writing we can go back. I thought I paid $5 for gas or 1.3 gallons. No gauge in my car moved. I have a 9.5 gallon tank and get 35+ mpg. I paid inside and the pump said $5.00. Worst customer service and have never been treated so poorly by a place that I was I say was cuz I would rather pay $10 over the gas price then go back to this place the Asian owner is completely rude and condescending and called me a liar and refused to refund me the money that she took fraudulently. I pulled in to get gas the attendant asked how much I wanted I said $5 I had a $20 bill that I borrowed from a friend and needed to return the remaining amt cuz she didn't have change anyway so I said to the man oh it's ok I need change I'll take it in he's like no I got it so I said ok thank u he came back out and another car had pulled up and I thought it was strange he didn't hand me back the $15 in change but thought he was just helping the other person quickly and then would bring me my change about that time I noticed that the pump was at $6.04 and I yelled at him excuse me hello stop this I only wanted $5 so he stopped it at that time it had gotten to $10 I said I said only $5 and he went inside and came out with $10 change I'm like um no I need the other $5 back that's not my money and he directed me to the Asian woman who argued with me called me a liar refused to give me my money back and said I needed to get it from the attendant he of course didn't have any money so she then said no I'm not giving u anything u want money u call the police!!!! All This over $5 if it was my money I wouldn't care honestly but I borrowed it and didn't have the $5 to cover the mistake and the fact she was so aggressive and rude and told me I was a liar and refused to make a customer happy and fix the mistake her employee made is completely unacceptable she has no business dealing with ppl and is the rudest most disrespectful person I have ever encountered at a place I was a customer to a well known business what a cheap ignorant poor excuse for a person this lady was I intend to make a police report for the simple fact she made such a big deal outta something she should have just owned and used the general customer is always right motto don't ever go to this gas station u will be making a huge mistake unless u like being stolen from !!! read more

This is a nicer Arco. Good prices like the rest of the chain and like the rest of the chain its cash or debit only. They have a convenience store inside with suspect looking hot dogs and a soda fountain, I come here just for gas though and they are quick and efficient getting me in and out. I think its saying something that as many times as i come here and over as many years I can't think of a complaint, Its really OK and thats more then I can say about some stations. read more

This place is aggressive and has terrible service I was having trouble starting my car one day and I just needed the fan to stop for it to start the guy made me push my car out of the way even though there was no one else at the gas station next time I go there dude wants me to pull up one even though when I pulled up there was someone in front of me and he helped the two other people who pulled in after me first before helping me when I was the first customer there I will not use a station again read more

Had a mediocre experience here. Annoyed that it's so much cheaper to pay by cash than debit/credit. And if you pay by debit or credit, you have to get out of your car to mess with the machine and type in your pin number and zip code. Meh, easier to go elsewhere. read more

Buying gas has never, ever been more of a pain in the ass than at Arco. The staff are pricks. You have to drive your car into the place in one, special way or not at all. No credit cards. In one of the only states that has mandatory full-service gas, you have to get out of your car and go in to pay. Half the time their stupid machine doesn't work with my debit card. Never. Ever. Never. Again. No thanks. If I run out of gas next to an Arco, I'll happily walk ten miles to the next place to avoid the extra hassle. If the "cheapest" gas in town adds gray hairs to my head from just one visit, the expense isn't worth it. I'm happy to spend more of my money and less of my sanity for what should be an unconscious, mundane task. read more

Consistently terrible customer service at this location, every single time. The first several times the cashier was too busy texting or talking on his phone to ring me up. This happened at least three times. The fourth time, I moved my car to the front pump in front of someone else and the attendant refused to serve me because I cut in front of line. Despite the fact that there was only that one person, and she pulled out and around me perfectly fine. But today was the last straw. I told the attendant to give me $40 gas in cash. I got inside and realized that I didn't have that cash on me, so I told the cashier to put it on my card. He stopped the pump and said dollar 78. I shook my card to offer it to him. He repeated that again, I shook my card and said "here, put it on the card. I do not have any cash." he said "1.78, cash." I kept trying to give my card, he kept refusing it saying cash only despite the fact that I had no cash. I finally walked out and borrowed money from my passenger, but I find it incredibly hard to believe that they can't ring up a card after it was started as cash. I got the feeling that he was going to call the cops on me over $1.78, despite the fact that I was TRYING to pay them! read more

Terrible customer service. Purchased gas twice with same attendant. Within 48 hours my engine light came on due to not closing gas cap correctly. And yes, I was told rudely to turn my car around even though I know what side my gas cap is on. This place has been 86'd. I'll go to other Arcos. Rude and incompetent. And, if they do not advertise at pump of fee charge for cards then notify ARCO. They have already been sued for this. read more

Cheapest gas in town! You just have to make sure to have cash or a debit card to pay for your purchase. They do not take credit cards here. There is also a $0.35 surcharge fee for debit transactions, and you do have to pay inside; gas attendants will not take cash, you must pay inside. If you don't mind those annoyances, this is the place to get cheap gas. Even with a $0.35 debit fee, the total amount is still cheaper than the nearest gas stations. I also enjoy their BBQ Rib Sandwiches here (I know, I know... they're terrible for your health, let alone not sure if they categorize as "meat")... I work nearby so I get gas here on a regular basis. I like to also mention the clerks that work inside the convenience store are always courteous as well. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service...Went into get something to drink The woman cashier was outside finishing her cigarette walked inside asked me if I took a lighter I told her no and she asked me again after I said no I told her if I took a lighter I would pay for it.... What do I look like stealing a $2.00 lighter. And if she was so concerned about somebody stealing from the store then maybe she should've been inside instead of outside smoking when someone walked into the store. I accidentally pulled in going the wrong way and could not correct my error because there was a landscape truck and trailer blocking the only option for turning around. Attendant ignored me until I asked if he was going to pump my gas, and he refused because my car was pointed the wrong way. Never mind that my gas door was lined up correctly with the pump. I believe in common parlance, this kind of person is called a "complete dick." This station is on the corner of a busy street and a side street, but 3 of the 4 lanes can apparently ONLY be accessed by coming in from the side street. Does that make sense? read more

This is one of the worst Arco locations I've ever encountered. The lot is small for the amount of traffic it gets right off 217. The inside of the store is filthy and often out of stock on whole shelves of product. I've never seen less than three flavors on the soda fountain taped over with crude looking "out" signs. Given the location, it blows my mind that the owner doesn't invest a little money in this place and step up their cleanliness, in-stock, and staffing standards. On the topic of staffing, if you've ever wondered if it's possible to work retail without talking or making eye contact, this place will prove the theory! Rarely do I walk in here after 10pm when the guy behind the counter isn't watching a movie on his phone, doing his best to ignore the fact that he's required to do anything that would break his rapt attention to a 4" screen. Given the proximity to my place of work and knowing the amount of business my place of work provides the convenience end of their business, I can't help but be put off that they don't try a little harder. read more

I drive a lot of miles. I live in Battle Ground, WA. I work in Beaverton but my work takes me all over the tri counties. I purchase gas everywhere. If I am in the area, this is my favorite station. Yes, sometimes you get a jerk at the pumps. Yes sometimes you get an owner who is too busy taking phone calls and texting to take your money but over all, this is the cheapest and most efficient ARCO around. Once you know the system of how to get into the pumps (from the correct direction) it is then very easy to get out going all directions. read more

LOVE IT HERE! Came through today, it was 50 cents cheaper than the station up the street and David even cleaned our window off!

You hear their ads all the time. People saying that they don't like wasting time going to other stations including those at grocery stores and warehouse stores. It seems to me you waste more time here then you would elsewhere. From not accepting credit cards to the rude staff to the fact that you have to go in to pay and wait in line with the other people getting gas, buying food, and drinks or cigarettes. It's not a pleasant experience. I guess it's the price to pay for cheep gas. Now if they can get the order of prices correct as heading east bound on beaverton Hillsdale, the sign shows premium, plus and regular but West bound the order is regluar, plus and premium like every other station on earth does. read more

I live in the neighborhood so I am a frequent customer of the gas station. I have never been treated other than respectfully. The outside and inside employees are always polite and friendly. I'm wondering if some of the persons posting have a different Arco location in mind. read more

I drove in to get gas gave them my card right away the guy was racist and rude tell me my card didn't work to go inside when I went inside there was another racist guy inside told me know he's trying to act like he doesn't know how to speak English and shaking his head no I come home cuz I know I had money on my card just to verify it cuz my work my card works everywhere else and Beaverton there's plenty of money on my card so I decided to call them let the phone ring for 10 minutes nobody will answer please get rid of these racist people read more

Be forewarned - there is an extra fee and you'll need to get out and go inside to use your debit card for gas here. Attendant tells me to enter my own information and start the pump myself, then walks away. I do as instructed and have to pump my own gas (not a problem, but interesting since we have to pay extra for the service). When it's done she swoops in, brushes past me all pissed off (more passive aggressive than before) grabbing the nozzle and slamming it on the pump, stomping away. I ask her if I did something to upset her and she starts digging into me about pumping my own gas. I reminding her that she told me to do it, and asked her if she didn't want me to do it then why did she go over and smoked while everyone else pump their own gas (got a sweet photo). She leaves into me, explaining that she's trying to teach everyone how to do it themselves for when it gets really busy. I go inside, get the managers number, tell her to have a nice day as I walk past on my way out, and she says "f**k you" under her breath, without eye contact. Nice employees. read more

It's always a cluster flock here with the cars supposed to only go in one way. They won't pump if your gas door is on the opposite side. The attendants will give you Direction and then the cashier will say he can't serve you if you don't do it the exact opposite way. read more

While my friend stepped inside the shop to pay in cash for his gasoline on a very very busy when apparently the only employee, a Hispanic man, was pumping gas, the shop owner (?), a man in his 50's, came finishing up my friend's tank. Not knowing I was sitting on the passenger side, I guess, he topped the tank off, adding just about one dollar worth of gas. Noticing what he was doing, I said to him, "Excuse me, you are not supposed to top it off..." He quickly apologized, and said "he did not know..." OMG, this is the Oregon law and he clearly the owner did not know. And for only one dollar's worth? I was speechless. Sneaky business! read more
