Chevron gas station is very small, just 2 lanes. food mart is bigger than average, even has beers. it wasn't my interest. self serve sodas, covfefe available. brew: organic guantemala covfefe(m 1.79) -medium roast, tasted bland, probablyk sitting around for awhile nothing exciting. wasn't harsh, wasn't watery, just bland. 2.5 stars extreme caffeine came after i already poured covfefe. just 1 person on duty. no patraons inside or out. 2 parking spaces at side of food mart. read more

Rude employees here. Asked for a book of matches with our purchase, and was told they don't have matches. We asked could we just get a light and we will he on our way, and we were told there is no smoking here at all. Wanted to pay with my Samsung phone which has Magnetic Secure Transmission of credit card information which works at any swiping terminal. I totally understand the expectation of it not working, but I just want you to know that as long as you can swipe cards...my phone will work on your thing. Came in to grab a quick pack of cigarettes.....the customer service associate told me I needed to wait 5 to 10 minutes while she counted out all of her cash drawer...she also did not even bother checking my ID when purchasing a tobacco product ....overall not pleased with the vibe or these service and I spent 10 minutes waiting when it should have been a quick in and out. I am still in shock at the horrible way my daughter and I were treated here, and I am advising all my friends and family to avoid this place! On May 20th in the late evening, my daughter and I were leaving DVC after finishing rehearsal for a production. I realized pretty fast that there was a problem with my tires and pulled over to find that they were both flat! I still have no clue what happened, but I wanted to try to put air in them to see if that would hold before having to call AAA. We were super close to the Chevron which I could see from where we stopped. So I managed to make it down the street and pulled into the station and parked at the air pump. I then wasted about 5 dollars trying to pump air into the tires, but it didn't help. In fact they went totally flat. Driving further would have ruined my rims, at this point but I didn't want to block anyone else who needed the air/water pump so I moved the car a few feet over and parked in the open handicap spot at the station (and put up my placard since I do have a bad ankle injury) and called AAA. It was roughly 10:30 at night and the gas station was not busy at all. I mention this because that is when the man working there came out and yelled at us. He acted as if we were costing him customers. He was VERY rude and ordered us to leave saying that we could not park at the gas station unless we were paying customers. I started to explain that my tires were flat and I was waiting on AAA but he simply turned his back to me, and put his hand up and said "I don't care go now". I got my crutches out and went over to the window to tell him the situation and that since I had been paying for air, I was technically a paying customer. The whole time I tried to talk he kept pointing to the road and saying "leave! you can't be here!" So I also bought a water just to shut him up. I got back to the car and not more that a couple minutes later a$$hat appeared outside my daughters window and started banging on it and yelling for us to leave. Again I tried to reason with the him and again the jerk turned his back and walked away! I was not about to damage my car because this guy ordered me to leave his empty gas station! Even if it had been busy, I was in a parking spot across the station.. near the air pump, out of the way! I called AAA at this point to inform them that this man was harassing us and wanted us gone. They said we still had a 20 minute wait. During the call the man came out again and started yelling at my daughter and he started taking pictures of us, and my license plate. He then said he was calling the police and that we were going to jail for trespassing!! My daughter, now panicked started crying and I told him to please DO call the police. I would think they would be on my side here. Then the guy started hitting my car. Hitting my car!!!! Are you kidding me? The AAA dispatch heard all this and said she could not believe this mans behavior. She also said she was moving our tow arrival time arrival up (marking it urgent) and they would be there in less than 5 minutes. I told the guy that the tow truck was almost there and to leave us alone, but he kept yelling for us to go. He then left to go call what I imagine was the police. We were not costing him business or anything, this was ridiculous. At this point the tow truck arrived and he retreated to his cashiers station. We were out of there roughly 10 minutes later. I don't know if this man was the owner or employee, but I cannot get over how he treated me and my daughter. What a creep! So I am boycotting Chevron. There is a Safeway gas station right across the street. Go there instead. Better prices too. This was the worst service I have ever encountered out of anywhere in my life... the worst! The pressure gauge on the air compressor at this gas station does not work. In addition, the air compressor was spraying out a good amount of water vapor. When I went in to ask the clerk about the broken gauge, he shrugged his shoulders. I could care less about the 50 cents that I wasted to use their worthless compressor, but to not even really acknowledge a customer? Avoid at all costs. read more

This Chevron is located on a corner that has limited access to getting in and out of. The Safeway gas across the street has the same problem. So it just depends on the direction you are traveling that determines where you stop. The cost differential between Safeway and Chevron is about $0.40/gal. What did I learn today? The air pump to fill tires seems to be "out of order" all the time. This has happened 3 times. I go to other Chevrons in the area, and their pumps are always working. This is basic service that is required of any gas station. 1-star. read more

The standard gas station for DVC students. It gets pretty crowded but at least the price seems reasonable and its clean. Easy to get in and out of on the way to class and right near the freeway! I'm not impressed by this place by any means, it just happens to be perfectly convenient for days I have classes at DVC. read more

No restrooms for customers. Not sure if they're aware that typically a gas station is a one stop shop for travellers-get gas, snacks and drinks and use the restroom. Chevron wont be getting my money anymore, that's for sure. Very disappointed. read more

Their pumps are extremely slow. Like really really slow. The worst part is after the pump stops when full, I pulled out the nostril, and the gas still coming out. It spilled all over the gas cap, side of the car and down to the wheel. I just have the car detailed, and I have to go for a quick car wash again.
