After 3 more minutes of endless ticking and more ads playing, the gas was spewing out all over me, my car and the ground. I have bee ln pumping my own gas for 40 years. And I do know to keep it securely inside the opening to prevent fumes from escaping. I had the nozzle was fully inside the entire time. I went to the window to tell the attendant the automatic shutoff wasn't working and he waved me off because he was on his dinner break. Pump #2. Total time getting 9 gallons of gas, 10 minutes in 49° and windy weather in the late evening. Stay away from this station.
