Restrooms are best avoided. There is a game parlor inside, the sofa in there looks ripped as it had a tape all through the center. ***Food: come here only for this! The owner was kind and promised me a pizza in 12 minutes as we were hungry. And per his promise in exactly 12 minutes, he handed a large hot pizza box. The veggies were fresh, the cheese was real, the crust was crisp. The pie could have benefited with some heat on top to toast up the cheese a bit. This is by no means a gourmet pizza but for this remote location, this was more than we could ask for.

Avoid ordering online -- very strange experience…read more We were on vacation and needed a pizza place that could accommodate a large group, so we decided to give this place a try. I went to their website, placed an order, and paid online. Shortly after, I received a text saying DoorDash would be delivering my order. Then I got a call from the DoorDash driver saying they had arrived at the restaurant, but the restaurant was claiming they didn't have a website and didn't have my order. The charge on my credit card showed the business name, so the whole situation was extremely confusing. I ended up having to cancel the charge with my credit card company, and since we had a large group with limited options, we had to go inside and place an order directly. Walking in, the place had a very strange vibe. It almost felt like a restaurant that was not fully set up or had recently changed ownership. It was very bare, there were no napkins in the holders, and the arcade area was completely empty except for a couch. The whole atmosphere felt off. Unfortunately, the pizza itself was not good either. I'm not sure what happened with this place, whether it recently changed hands or something else, but based on our experience, I would recommend staying away.

My friends and I were camping at Shaver Lake and decided to grab some lunch in town at Shaver Lake…read morePizza. We ordered the XL combo pizza, potato skins and some jalapeños and ranch. Food was made to order so it took some time. The spot was pretty small, so there was limited seating. Seemed like there were lots of phone orders too. Potato skins and pizza were pretty good. Ranch was good as well. Pretty solid lunch spot. Did have to knock down a star for my vegetarian friend. She ordered vegetarian calzone and well... as she was eating it she noticed there was bacon in it and she didn't speak up. After years of being vegetarian, she accidentally ate bacon and it absolutely tore her stomach up during camping.

I've been stopping here every time I'm at Shaver Lake for several years, and it has become one of our family's traditions. Seating inside is limited, and during the busy summer season you'll want to call ahead because there can be a wait, but it's absolutely worth it. Our family favorites are the Pepperoni & Sausage, the Combo, and the Veggie pizzas. We usually add a salad, an order of potato skins, and make sure to get the homemade ranch, which is as good as everyone says. Their garlic bread and appetizers are also great options if you're feeding a hungry group. Whether you've spent the day on the lake, hiking the trails, or just relaxing at the cabin, make Shaver Lake Pizza a regular stop during your time in the mountains. Good food, friendly people, and one of those places that keeps you coming back year after year

We waited around till someone finally came to register just to be asked my name, the worker then immediately ran back to doing nothing. At 1:55 we asked again just to be told someone else must have taken our order/ they just dont know what happened after having to ask me 50 questions? Finally at 2:08 our food comes out just to still be missing a item, queue another 11 minutes or so. A HOUR FUCKING WAIT BECAUSE THE STAFF HAS NO CLUE HOW TO DO THEIR JOB?? As I've written about on numerous other occasions on Yelp, I am a Taco Bell addict…read more This is the closest Taco Bell to Yosemite, so I would probably still come here even if it sucked. Fortunately, it doesn't suck too bad. It's exactly what you would normally expect from Taco Bell, but like, thirty percent less of it. The food is prepared correctly. It is hot, and fresh. But the portion sizes are just never quite what they're supposed to be, or what they would be if you ordered them from any other Taco Bell storefront. For example, I recently ordered a Build Your Own Veggie Cravings Box on the app with a Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme, a Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito, a Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, and a Mt. Dew Baja Blast. Both the potatoes and the burrito were so undersized that I was able to open up the burrito, dump all of the potatoes into it, and easily wrap it back up. In fact, I've probably done this the last four times I came here. There was plenty of extra room in the bean burrito for the entire order of potatoes-- and there definitely should not be. The crunchwrap that comes in the box is not advertised as any kind of miniature version, but in reality, it is. If I had paid the menu price of six dollars for the crunchwrap alone, I probably would have been upset, but of course, that's how much I paid for the whole box. Aside from the sometimes comically small portion sizes, this Taco Bell is solid-- the prices, flavor, service, and quality are all still there.
