We stopped here to get something to drink , it was the only place we had seen on this rural road. It fit in with the surrounding mobile homes that were also old and rundown. The homeless man begging for money at the door was nice enough. He wasn't overly aggressive and he did open the door for us. He was persistent though. All of the beverages in every refrigerator case were warm. None of the units were working. I even went over and felt the beer and it was warm as well. The food at the counter looked like it had been there for weeks., food poisoning just waiting to happen. I quickly paid for my son's bag of Doritos and got back in the car. read more
