So I come to get gas & scratchers after work right. As I proceed to the register and begin to swipe my card the transaction is going through when I see the woman behind the counter cancel the transaction. She then tells me I can't purchase the scratchers with my EDD card. I am baffled because I have had no problems in the past with my card & purchasing whatever whenever with it. So she refused my service because of the card I was using. First she said the slider wasn't working but before she'd recognized the card she was going to allow me to swipe my card. She then proceeded to say "that's the unemployment card right" after I said yes she said you can't buy scratchers with that card.... Always horrible horrific service. It's almost as if I always get a bad attitude when I would like to use my personal Safeway card phone number. I don't understand what the big deal is. And I'm pretty sure he is the owner. But not only with him with the other attendance that work here as well. It's clean and neatly organized. The staff is always nice and like Tisha said, it's always the same people working so it's never awkward or weird. The pumps are plentiful so you never wait for gas. I wish they had a carwash station =( read more

Just another high priced Chevron, nothing special here. It's kind of out in the middle of nowhere in a residential section of town at a small shopping center. Eight pumps, cleaning liquid, paper towels and squeegees at each pump and an extra mile convenience store. Regular was selling at $3.98 a gallon. read more

This one is cool, just because it's so damn close to my house. Quick in and out, and you are good. Its not a too busy gas station, which makes it better. Plus the prices here are normally cheaper than other Chevron stations. read more

Most of the time this Chevron is the cheapest Chevron in the area and you can get in and out quickly. However, there have been two separate occasions where the pump was SO SLOW. I was sitting there for 5 minutes and it pumped less than a gallon into my tank. Everyone else was having the same problem too. The first time it happened I thought it was a fluke, but now that it's happened again so soon after the first time this gas station has proven to be unreliable. I wouldn't want to come here and be in a hurry and not be able to get gas! I went in and talked to the attendant and they said they could only reset the pumps once everyone was done using the pumps, which would have taken forever. We left after getting 0.8 gallons :P read more

My husband and I stopped to get gas this last Sunday. My husband bought a 6 pack the change for that 6 pack was $10.94. My husband gave the guy $40 two 20 dollar bills. My husband said to the guy ,"I'm giving you two 20 dollar bills.Put the the change plus the $20 towards my gas." My husband physically pulled the two $20's apart and told him,"I'm giving you two $20 bills so my gas will be $30.94." He said this to the man several times because the guy looked confused. My husband comes out I'm waiting to pump the gas and he tells me,"I put $30.94 in it." The pump stops at $10.94. My husband says ," I knew this guy was going to mess this up." He goes in to tell him the guy starts yelling that my husband didn't give him 2 $20 bills. BTW.. We asked him to count out the register which he said he couldn't do. My husband is fuming mind you my husband is pretty calm. So I said let me go in there. The guys starts yelling at me. I asked to speak to his manager to which he replied ,"why". I tell the manager to story above. She told me they'd count out the register end of shift that she would also look at the cameras. She told me to leave my number that she would get back to me. We still haven't heard from her. I called yesterday the person on the phone said the register wasn't over. If I wanted to talk to the manager I had to call her at 10:30 pm that night. Horrible customer service. Do not give these people cash. They obviously don't know how to count. Hire people that know how to handle cash. read more

I'm only willing to write such a positive review for this particular gas station because my car had died a few meters before getting to the pump and I needed help to push my car while I steer it to a pump. To my surprise, the man working here, Alex, came out from the store, (probably noticed me) and helped push my car! I never have a problem here. It's Chevron, just like any other Chevron, but the same people have been working here for years. I recognize them, they recognize me. It's almost ritualistic going here. Once, this was a cool station. You couldn't buy toilet papers and diapers and an 84 ounce sugary beverage and a max pack of cheeto flavored pringles or whatnot. It was a gas station with some auto bays. These guys could fix your car, change your oil, do a smog check, and sell you some gasoline. Then they tore that down and basically constructed the new corporate "pump 'n munch". The staff in the old one knew something about how cars actually worked and how to fix them but that insititutional knowledge left when the old building was knocked down and replaced with this thing. read more

I had a bad experience last friday at this station and do not recommend it. I pulled out the pump to pump gas into my tank on the side of my car farther from the pump (there were no other pumps open) and the station agent came out and yelled at me that I could not do that because I would break the pump. Considering how many times I have seen this done at other stations, I was a bit taken aback. I asked him if that was the case, why there were no signs posted anywhere indicating this, he laughed at me like I was stupid and walked back into the station. I confronted him about his lack of customer service skills and asked to speak with the station manager. After arguing with him for a few minutes he finally relented (I was not about to leave) and contacted the manager. I spoke with the manager about the employee's rude behaviour and the need to have signs posted if this was their protocol and she provided me with some half hearted attempt to pacify me by telling me that they were not allowed to do that but that it was for safety reasons. I retorted that if it was indeed a safety concern, then they should have a sign outside stating as much. She commented that she would bring it up at the next board meeting and discuss it as Chevron would not allow a sign without approval, I know this is false. During my conversation with the "manager", I watched the station agent being rude to another customer and commented about it to the manager, she brushed me off and said that she hoped I would have a good day and would come back and see them again. I think NOT. I left without buying gas, even though I was running on fumes, and filled up at a Shell station on Mission Blvd where I watched two customers fill their tank up from the other side of their vehicles. Interestingly enough, the station agent did not come out to scold them for pumping the "incorrect" way. So if you are desperate, by all means, but if you have a choice, try a friendlier location. read more

Chevron is quality gasoline. This is my favorite Chevron in this area. Best access is when driving east on Driscoll. Usually the credit card can be read at the pump no need to go inside. My wife likes to wash the windows while I pump. I am grateful that that this station has easy parking at tire air pump free if you fill up your tank. Look for offers that bring Chevron price into alignment. read more

My car requires premium gas, I always pump gas here since it has reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
