We had a guy come out from the back to the cash register, and while he was chill, he seemingly didn't care. Overall, this place doesn't look that great, didn't have something we wanted to purchase, and didn't have the customer service, to all combine as the ingredients to make me never go again. Unless I really want Chester's Chicken and don't want to drive that far from my friend's house in Toledo. I didn't even realize they sold Chester's Chicken until I saw a picture on here. Absolutely Unacceptable Behavior - Avoid This Chevron at All Costs…read more On my way home to Portland, I made a quick stop at this Chevron station intending to grab an energy drink. What I encountered instead was an astonishing display of unprofessionalism and outright hostility. When I arrived, the employee was sitting inside the store glued to his phone. One of the entrances had been inexplicably closed off early, and when I mistakenly tried the door before seeing the sign, I was met with an aggressive bark: "Go around!" Not a polite request -- an order, issued with zero customer courtesy. So I went around to the open side -- still before the posted closing time -- only to find the same employee physically blocking the door. Instead of simply letting me in, he asked, "What do you want?" I replied, "Just an energy drink," and he snapped, "Fine. Hurry up." That was the final straw. At that point, I made a clear and conscious decision not to support this business. No customer deserves to be spoken to like that. I told the employee directly that I would not give them my money and walked away. What happened next was beyond unprofessional -- it was flat-out hostile. As I left, the employee walked to the back window and flipped me off. A grown adult, working a public-facing job, giving customers the middle finger for daring to expect basic respect. Chevron, this is a major reputational problem. I strongly encourage management and ownership to review security footage from that night. I will also be making every effort to contact the owner directly. This level of behavior should never be tolerated from anyone representing your brand. This location does not deserve your business until serious corrective action is taken. Please see the attached photo of the employee.

But in a pinch or a hurry it's a great place to pick up something you need but do not want to drive far to get it. Clerks are very nice, store is clean and as much as it feels bad to have to spread the word, it's Closing. Their landlord gave them notice to be out of their location by the end of February, 2026. There are many other empty buildings up and down Commercial Street but I have heard nothing about relocating the store. As of yesterday, February 21, 2026 everything was marked down 40%. Looks like we can say goodbye to them soon.
