I went to this gas station to fill up and like I do and so many other people do I left the gas tank filling up with the latch which it usually stops when it senses that it's full. But for some reason it didn't and the gas started to squirt out everywhere all over the place I had to shut it off myself and I got covered in gas. When I went to go explain what happened and asked if there was anything I could do because the pump malfunctioned and then I got over charged obviously because of the over flow, the white lady with the blonde / brown pony tail told me she could only reimburse me 2 dollars because "that looks like about 2 dollars of gas to me" which is bullshit. And then she proceeded to call me stupid for leaving the gas pump in my car unattended which a lot of people do??? And I've done many times and there has never been this problem. I got charged 73$ and my car doesn't even take that much gas. For reference I just filled up today at a different chevron station and the prices are not that much different than the day it happened. I had 30 miles before I filled up today and the total was 58$ to get a full tank? So for her to tell me that pissed me off. Never going back there again. Went in with my service animal to purchase an energy drink. Attendant refused service because he was frightened of my animal, who was standing in front of me, doing her job, and stated that she wasn't wearing a vest. Which is not required by the ADA. I immediately called Chevron corporate to lodge a complaint. Upon putting my animal in my room, I went back to purchase said energy drink and told the attendant that I made a complaint with corporate and his manager will be getting a call from them. The attendant proceeded to smirk and laugh, stating that he wasn't worried. I updated corporate of this latest incident. There are less expensive stations up the road. Highly recommend to use those instead such as Shell 107 W Ventura Blvd currently at $4.09 a gallon. read more

Worst customer service! Rude attendant. Only stopped before work for a drink and to pump gas. I fully understand I parked in a gas pump. I changed my mind to not pump gas before work. When paying for my drink, I told the rude attendant that I was not pumping gas and he was extremely upset. There was definitely no need for such a negative way to speak to customers. Especially since it took me 1 min to get in and out. There is definitely ways you can inform customers in a nice way especially when purchasing from the store. People really forgot how to be kind. Bought some fuel and needed to put air in my tires. The manager Bobby told me the air wasn't free. I let him know I'd purchased some fuel and per California law, the air needed to be provided for free. He told me he would need a receipt. I responded by letting him know I had purchased with a credit card and hadn't requested a receipt as I wasn't aware I would need one. I buy gas here all the time. He told me he'd never seen me. We went back and forth for a minute but Bobby became agitated and confrontational. I was just looking to put some air in my tires. Guess I'll have to report this to the state. I frequently come to this Chevron gas station since it's probably the least expensive Chevron with Techron gas you can find in Ventura County. I'm fortunate to have this place to fill up on gas since it's on my way home from my long work commute. Also, it has a restroom I can relieve myself from that long commute. The restroom key is hanging on a nail, connected to a windshield wiper grip, on the upper right hand side of the gas attendant booth entrance. They sell lottery and other things you may need like snacks and beverages. read more

Yesterday I went in to the little market for a Red Bull and saw a sign for the 12 oz that read 2/5.33+tax and CRV which should come to roughly 5.83. When the attendant rang it up it came to 7.18 so I asked why and noted the sale sign. He cancelled the sale and rang it up again and shrugged his shoulders saying that was the price. I told him no thanks, why would I pay more than what the sign displays. The attendant was unwilling to do anything for me. One of my go to fill up stations. Easy access, close to freeway. Generally clean and I feel safe here early morning or late night hours. Easy and spacious to maneuver in and out of this station. Vons club rewards save you up to .20 per gallon. I have not used the restroom here but a few of the tips don't recommend using them. I will take their word for it. read more

BUYER BEWARE! I went in while It was a lil busy (3 people waiting). I laid my money on the counter and noted my pump in front of the attendant after the gentleman in front was done and quickly moved back to my vehicle. The pump showed it was on but did not pump. I reset and attempted again without response. I went to the attendant and asked why the pump wasn't working. He responded it should be on. At that point (with about 5 other people waiting) I just asked to have my money returned. He did not return the full amount stating that's what I had given. (I had counted multiple times to make sure prior to filling because ones were given). He restated just restart the pump at which point i restated to return my money he had given. He shortchanged me but none the less I have determined to modify future gas spending at this location, no matter how reasonable the cost. ( I would rate NO star if possible). read more

Don't forget to ask them what specials they have available. Sometimes you'll be able to save some of your hard earned cash. They work hard for their tips too. AVOID!! Spent $40 on gas and when I got home I got an email alert from my credit card company saying there was a pending authorization for $126 at the same time I was there. Phoned the credit card company who did a 3 way call between me, card company and Samir at the gas station. Samir couldn't give a good explanation why they did an authorization for $126 rather than the typical $1 which you see all the time. He basically didn't give a **** and told me it was only an authorization and would clear down in a few days. When he found out it was a credit card company not a bank on the phone then his tune changed and he was all about clearing down the authorization today. Moral of the story...avoid Chevron Las Posas, pay for gas with a credit card not a bank debit card and set up email alerts with your credit card company for any activity over a set amount. read more

As others have said, good prices and easy to get in and out of and back on the freeway however...after filling up there on Christmas day there were fraudulent charges made that afternoon using the same debit account as was used to purchase the fuel.
