Although we we the first people there at 1pm for dine-in, there was a steady stream of take-out orders getting picked up, as well as other (mostly men) coming to dine. The chairs are wide and overstuffed, and the tables are just the right height. It's a, "have another bite" atmosphere. There are long prayers coming from the speakers. Even a non-Arabic speaker like me knows that, "Bismillah" doesn't rhyme! The better half's take on his kebab? "This is the best lamb I've ever had!". I thought the shwarma and fries were great, but the hummus served with warm pita, some fruity, green olive oil, and a sprinkling of sumac/ za'atar really knocked it out of the park. I was dipping my fries in it! We ended the meal with a long slice of pistachio backlava. Oh, so good!

I made sure to ask before, but I don't know where the miscommunication happened. The chicken lacked flavor, but more importantly, it was not fully cooked and was squishy. I was able to take a photo because I was in a rush and the only parts of the chicken that I was able to eat were when I had to cut a piece off of cooked meat. I wish them nothing but the best, but the quality of food needs to get better for this to be edible because uncooked meat is very unsafe. That was very disappointed with my food and I wish I could've stayed back to speak to the owner, but he had left at the time. The Chipotle BBQ flatbread was bigger than I initially expected. It had on it a Chipotle bbq sauce for the sauce, chunks of chicken, and some jalapeños, and ofcourse cheese. The bbq sauce definitely had a little kick flavor to it that distinguishes it from other bbq sauces. The chicken chunks were moist and delicious the jalapeños definitely made it all the better giving a little more punch. It was just right. The fries were good and I was able to get a side of honey mustard to dip it in. The spicy chicken sandwich was definitely crispy and flaky. I didn't try it, but my boyfriend loved it! He's MiddleEastern and even he felt it was spicy and needed a drink to tone it down a little. They did a good job with that. Now, to that macaroni and cheese it is the star of show! For the amount that we paid, the portion size was excellent. From the looks of it, you could tell it would be creamy. I got to taste a bite of it and instantly fell in love with it. It was rich, creamy, and cheesy! I was not expecting to be THAT GOOD but it is! I just had to make a review on it! Aside from the food, the signs are funny in and out there. She asked if I wanted a souvlaki wrap or something with a salad & rice. I opted for a mini salad, with ALL the fixings, tzatziki AND garlic sauce + Greek dressing. I also took home some baklava for breakfast. Monique kept telling the line staff that this was my first visit & to treat me right. IMO, Monique deserves a raise.
