    Haneeth lamb with rice

Firstly I would like to say that the food was amazing. I didn't realize much about the place until I went there. The reviews on Yelp looked amazing and I wanted to try out some Arabic food since they are very similar to Indian food. I had called up the place before going there since I was ordering a take out. The restaurant said that I don't need to order in advanced. The restaurant is right on Broadway street, there is a parking lot alongside the restaurant and also you can park on Smith St. The inside of the restaurant is not much appealing. The food was fresh, warm. I ordered Lamb Haneeth with rice. The lamb was fatty, juicy, not much spicy and very tasty. I wasn't sure if the place was under renovation or it has always been this way but I would never go there for dine-in if the place stays that way. Again, the food was delicious. I definitely would like to try other dishes

Their service has gotten very bad. The food is bland and dry but they take wrong order and then blame it on the customer. I understand the girl did not speak English but she started rolling her eyes as we pointed out that she brought back the wrong thing nicely. If you are thinking they have the same management as before construction, you are up for a rude awakening. They charge $2 for the soup (that's basically the watery gravy from the lamb curry) that used to be free. They also do not provide any gravy anymore with the lamb, so you will have dry lamb with rice. Also, plain white rice is $3 that does not come with your overpriced two pieces of lamb that you got with your order. Just to make things better if you ask for gravy then be prepared to pay for $6 extra with your $18 lamb+ $3 rice. If you want to have tasty food, DO NOT GO THERE.

Wonderful food. Absolute value for money. Really great staff. Must try. Might seem like in-the-middle-of-nowhere, but totally worth the drive. Recommended for students looking for a low-budget halal food joint.

This is my 54th Yelp review, but if I could turn back time this would be my first 5 star rating; that's how much the TASTE of the food here stands out. This is my new favorite restaurant in Buffalo. It was recommended to me by a friend from Yemen who said "It's the only Yemeni food I've had in Buffalo that tastes better than my mom's." There is nothing more authentic and delicious and the service is excellent. My friend and I ordered a lot and were served almost immediately. I went at 10pm and they still had good business but were able to serve well. Although it was 10pm we were able to sit and enjoy the meal. The employees were so friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable (and huge portions). I doubt this will be the first time I review Al Mandy's so I'll keep it short for now. Go enjoy one of the best meals in Buffalo NY!

Best Mandy ever. The stuff are very friendly. Try their chicken sandwich, and ask for a cup of soup you'll love it.

Although we we the first people there at 1pm for dine-in, there was a steady stream of take-out orders getting picked up, as well as other (mostly men) coming to dine. This week it was M Asian…read moreHalal Foods that filled my stomach for dinner and they did a pretty darn good job at it. This was my first time having Pakistani since moving to Buffalo but knowing where this place was located was almost a guarantee that is was going to be fantastic. The menu features a lot of unique items that I absolutely need to try in the future (most notably the goat curry) but the chicken biryani is what drew me in on this day. The gentleman working the counter was friendly and and quick to deliver the food when It was done (nice and hot too!). The rice served with this dish would of been enough alone to satisfy me but the chicken that was underneath it gets 2 thumbs up! I can't put my finger on what exactly the flavouring was but it was absolutely delicious in every way. M Asian Halal Foods is another fantastic addition to the West Side Bizarre. If you are hungry and wanting to get something new, give these guys a shot, you will not be disappointed!

So they're talking about having a black guy play James Bond. Idris Elba, I believe, was the front…read morerunner. So my question is... When are they going to make M Asian? The owners of this little stand, apparently, were wondering the same thing. And considering that one of the other amazing places inside the West Side Bazaar is "007 Asian Food", I think they're trying to tell us something. What to get: Chicken Karahi, or Egg Curry. What not to get: garrotted by one of Q's gadgets. Absolutely spectacular Indian food hidden away in the wonderful West Side Bazaar. One of the newer stands this place specializes in the egg Curry and especially the car. Chicken Karahi is a Pakistani specialty which is absolutely delicious. These guys know how to make it. Every bite is absolutely wonderful. Prices under $10 in the portion will fill you up. It's nice and oily just the way I like it. Indian food is a little like Chinese and Mexican food in that (a) there are a massive number of varieties, many of which are nothing like each other, and (b) the majority of people in the US don't know or understand the cuisine whatsoever. What most Americans think is Indian, Chinese or Mexican food is absolutely not. It's probably bland, overly-sugary gentrified crap that was literally invented to sell to Americans, which the majority of people from the culture or country in question, would never go near. Such as the dish "Butter Chicken" which is about as authentic as a Taco Bell taco. And as bland, sugary, and spiceless, too. Yay Murica. What you need to do when you go for Indian or Pakistani food - if you've chosen well and picked a place that has some real Indian food, like this stand does - is to pick dishes that are actually authentic. In this case, the Egg Curry and the Chicken Karahi are both delicious, full of flavour and spice, and must-try dishes. The samosa is also excellent. If you haven't been to the West Side Bazaar, you haven't really experienced Buffalo Cuisine. We have some of the most delicious treats hidden around the region and this place is one of the very best. While you're in here, get a fruit smoothie (no milk, ask for real fruit) from Gourmet Lao, as well as the sticky rice from 007 and the Garlic Chicken soup from the Burmese place across from M Asian. Now I'm going to write to the Broccoli family (and the late Ian Fleming) and Daniel Craig (and Sean Connery) and ask when the hell they are going to make M Asian. Speaking of which, I'll take the rapists for 400. And I want Swords for 600. That's not what your mother said last night Trebek.

We started with the lentil soup, boiling hot and full of lemon juice and black pepper. My husband ordered lamb handi, cubes of tender meat in a thick gravy with tomatoes, onions and green peppers. He had ordered it "Medium spicy", but I think the kitchen was grading on a curve: It was less punchy than the soup. Still, I wouldn't order "Hot" as I once did here: The chef takes pride in his liberal use of peppers at this level. (The menu warns you: "This is a dish for stronger constitutions"). My lamb shashlik was char grilled on a skewer (thoughtfully removed prior to serving) with slices of tomato, onions and green peppers, plated on a sizzling iron plate. The chunks of lamb had been marinated: They were so tender! The garlic naan? Fresh from a tandoor oven, with a little char, lots of butter and garlic, and a little parsley. It was so fresh and good!
