I received a reckless driving - class 1 misdemeanor which is a serious criminal offense with potential penalties of 6 DMV points, a fine of $2,400, a jail sentence of 12 months, and a license suspension of up to 6 months. I was worried because I also had my very first speeding violation 2 years ago at another state while on a travel assignment. I am glad I found Mr. Leavitt who is professional and understands where I was coming from. Mr. Leavitt got Judge Bain (Brunswick General District Court) agreed to reduce my reckless driving 77/55 misdemeanor charge to a simple speeding violation (not reckless, not a misdemeanor). Please do not speed everyone. Life is too precious. But if you need a traffic violation lawyer, I do recommend Mr. Leavitt. Mr. Leavitt and Judge Bain; thank you.

He quickly and professionally assessed my case (85 in a 70) and my driving record and gave me an honest appraisal. During our phone conversation, he made clear his expectations and his plan in court. I had great confidence in him and I never had to set foot in the court room. He called me right after the case and gave me the great news that he had been even more successful than expected. If you have a speeding or reckless driving ticket, call Daniel Leavitt, you will not be disappointed.

I found Friedman law firm driving by the impressive building one day after being bailed out of jail! LOL I knew no one in Richmond besides my ex in-laws which are to say the least, not my "friends" anymore (nor is my ex). The Friedman firm has been phenomenal to me, and I've worked with many attorneys. Thumbs up big time! Thanks guys!! :)

The looks from the outside looked promising but very soon the honest behavior appeared. Is it my fault? I should have walked away, yes and no. As acting representation it is the Law Firms responsibility to perform 110% Clients should be their number one priority however time and time again "Money" was the focus. I had not received communication from my Attorney for quite sometime but calls and emails were coming in for money collection frequently. Things were submitted, movement went forward, minimal interaction to seem they cared but honestly I did not feel apart of a family. I would never recommend this Law Firm. Honesty and Truth is not here and I would highly recommend taking your case elsewhere. There is too much to write but just know the VA State Bar will be notified of the unethical and misconduct that I suffered one whole year. Improper representation, Improper evidence gathered/presented, evidence withheld, in house employmee repositioning while case was ongoing. Paralegal reassigned else where with the initial Attorney reassignment during the first two months.

I have a love/hate relationship with this post office…read more What's to love? It's a big post office with so much space and although it's a busy location, you can get through the post office lines rather quickly. It's also clean, is well stocked and maintained, and there are many amenities here, e.g. a greeting card stand, decorative mailers and shipping packaging, a self-serve kiosk, and plenty of post boxes. What's to hate? The passport department! This is one of the main places in the Richmond area to apply for your passport. We had to jump through multiple hoops to just get here as our appointment time and location was constantly being changed by the passport office. It was a headache! But we finally tracked down the proper date, location, and arrived! You have to drive around to the back of the post office to an underground sketchy area. There's a buzzer and an intercom to enter this dingy, stark cavernous office. It's worse than the DMV! It felt like an interrogation room. People sitting around waiting... and waiting. We waited over an hour after our appointed time before our name was called. All the paperwork was filled properly out, but the lady behind the counter made an error and asked us to redo the forms. Then when we went to pay, she said only check or debit card. That info wasn't on the site. So we had to call our bank to finagle our payment, and thankfully after some wheeling and dealing our payment was accepted (through no fault of our own). It was such a horrible ordeal, I began perspiring profusely and literally felt faint due to the rigamarole and didn't think the paperwork would get processed. What a complicated bunch of red tape! It took hours! I noticed several other customers going through the same hell we were going through. It was like a breath of fresh air when we finally walked out of that paper maze! So if you're just going to mail a letter or send a package, you'll be fine. But lord help you if you need a passport!
