They don't honor appointment times, so don't waste your time making one. If you value your time as money, consider another business.

Four stars for the front desk (you couldn't pay me enough money to do what they do), five for the…read moretechnician. Five stars for the advocate that reads these reviews and follows up with patients to assist improving the patient experience in the future - that's not common in my experience, but it is appreciated. At the door they took my ID and sent me to seat which was right across from the sign that says "The management is not responsible for lost items". No explanation on why my ID was held (they did this for everyone that came in while I was in the lobby), no logical reason I can think of why you must give your ID to one person so that it can be put in a bin and someone else then has to call you up and actually check you in. Follow-up: The advocate explained that the process with the IDs is to eliminate the sign in sheet to help protect patient privacy -- and I get that but still wonder if there isn't a better option than me having to handle over a critical item and risk me forgetting to get it back later...yes the desk tech plays a role here too, but we're all human and oversights can never be fully ruled out. The tech for the actual radiology exam was friendly and professional but the front desk experience was cooly polite and left me a little cold. However the follow up for the advocate warmed the cockles of my cold little heart so I'm bumping up the overall stars. Communication is a key aspect of every experience for me and the follow up provided that much needed communication. PSA: Located in a building that the internal offices were numbered by someone that walked around in a circle and slapped signs up...that's only explanation I can think of for why 104 is across from 112 and 102 (where CRA is located) is at the other end of the building. Not CRAs doing, but if you aren't familiar with the building...maybe this PSA will help.

This place has a useless website trying to make an appointment. You spend a half hour entering…read moreyour life history but when it comes to confirming an appointment, nada... The system generates a day and time for an MRI BUT, it shows a morning appointment open with a date. Trouble is MRI's are NOT done in the morning at the Bowie location so your appointment is in limbo land. I was lucky enough to be 5 min away and just drove there but not everyone is lucky enough to be that close. Tried to chat with tech support but guess what That doesn't work either. The business was WAY better off when it was called Chesapeake because name changes aren't always a plus.... Want to make an appointment? You better call and deal with all of the AI automation crap. The service is okay once all of the BS is delt with first.

I cannot say enough great things about That's My Baby Ultrasound. With this being my first…read morepregnancy I have what feels like an everlasting desire to check in on my baby and watch him grow. With doctor's appointments now focusing on heartbeats and not ultrasounds, that's where That's My Baby came in. The suite is located in a medical center in Bowie on the second floor. You have to take the stairs up to get to the suite -- or at least I didn't see an elevator. When I arrived I was greeted immediately, offered a chance to use the restroom, and then escorted to the room where my ultrasound would take place. The room was very large and had the perfect amount of seating for multiple family members to attend. The ultrasound tech was very friendly and did a good job of explaining to me everything I was seeing. She was also very patient and gentle with me as we tried to get my baby to move around so we could see him from different angles. The package I booked was for a regular ultrasound, but the tech was so kind that she switched into 4D mode so I could really have a chance to see my son's features. At the end of my appointment, I left with amazing pictures of my baby (and way more pictures than originally stated in the package I chose). I will for sure be back again as my pregnancy continues to progress!

As I sat down, waiting to be called back, I noticed an underwater beach scene playing on the television. The water was clear and you could see fish. This is the closest to snorkeling that I will come. It was very pleasant imagery with soft ocean sounds. So soothing to the eyes and ears. The sound was broken by my name being called to go back. I went to the back and was asked my name and birthdate as well as a series of body medal related questions. I was given a room to change in as well as a key to lock the door. After I put on my gown it was off to the X-ray room where I was given earplugs and instructed to lay on my back on a table. A pillow was placed under my legs and what felt like a head brace was placed on my head to keep my head still. I was then inserted into what looked like a giant white tube. The test lasted about 45 minutes. While I was in the tube I heard a series of banging noises as well as what seemed like energy passing around me. After the test was done I changed my clothes and went back to the waiting room to pay my co-pay as well as receive my disc and receipt. The staff was really nice and informative. I recommend this location and would go back if I needed to.

Evidently, they take walk ins for x-rays, but you need an appointment for other imaging like ultrasounds and mammograms. APPEARANCES: Both the office and the staff look professional and well kept. I thought it was a little strange that the only magazines they have are Sports Illustrated, ESPN Magazine, and other sports publications. The TV was playing a poker tournament, so maybe they cater to a specific crowd? Anyhow, I definitely noticed all the sports stuff. POLICIES: They don't allow you to take any pictures or videos inside the office, which I think means they don't want you to take pictures of your own x-rays or ultrasounds. But maybe there is some other reason... The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way, was that the ultrasound technician wouldn't let me watch what she was doing on the screen. I asked if I could see, and she said there was not really anything to see... I interpreted that as her assuming I wouldn't know what I was looking at, so she didn't want to take the time to tilt the screen in my direction. Guess what, though? They're my guts and if I want to see them, humor me dadgummit! At the end, when I asked her if I could look at the images, she said the radiologist had to look at them first, and she couldn't review anything with a patient. It seems pretty ridiculous to me not to let a patient watch their own ultrasound on the screen and then not let them look at the images at the end either. I don't know if that was her own personal policy or one that the office holds to. TOTAL TIME: I walked in at 3:20 p.m. and walk out at 3:34 p.m. Very quick turnaround! OVERALL: I would come here again if I needed x-rays or other imaging. Next time however, I think I'll be more assertive asking to see my images. But overall it was a quick and painless experience.

I was the only one in the waiting room. About 10 minutes after I arrived, a few employees walked in. This is interesting, as the facility starts walk-in hours at 9:00am (opening time). So now, I've already waited 10 minutes and the remaining staff are just arriving. After waiting 20 minutes (again, I'm the first arrival) I inquired about the wait. The receptionist went to find out and came back informing me it would be a bit longer. Are you kidding me??? How unprofessional- if you advertise walk-in hours from 9-4pm, then your employees should be on site and ready to start work at that time. This office does not seem to be well managed, as I experienced issues my first visit. I decided to give them another chance since I like to support businesses in my neighborhood but I will never use this imaging center again. The lack of respect for patients' time, lateness by employees, and obvious lack of effective management is disappointing. Patients deserve better.
