I have worked with a number of realtors in the past and most can't hold a candle to the integrity and foresight that Mateus Realty puts into every property they place their sign on. If your buying, then consider Mr. Mateus and Jeff family because that is how you will feel when they help you navigate the treacherous landscape of home ownership in 2024! If you happen to see a Mateus Realty sign on the lawn, know you are buying a good home at the right price! I would not hesitate to refer them to anyone looking into buying or selling property.

The legal and market experience along with commitment to their customers have provided me exceptional results selling both homes from across the country. She worked with me for YEARS to find the right home! I was very picky and so was my husband... the funny thing is that the home we finally fell in love with and bought was the one she found and encouraged us to see. We weren't even interested based on photos but she was convinced we should give it a chance...we did and it was LOVE at first sight!!!! I still have a grin on my face every time I drive up the road and see my home! Paulo handled our closing for the purchased property with professionalism and ease. It was so simple...almost too easy? Lol! Ari also helped sell our old home. She was on top of every single detail to make our open houses a success! We got an offer within 6 weeks and countered for the sale. Painless and quick! Especially when we listed late in the season!! I can't say enough about this pair but don't worry about being disappointed. They are Rhode Island pros. A wife and husband team that beats the rest!! Run don't walk to Tanasio Realty!!!

I have used this company to handle property showings and tenant screenings for a small single…read morefamily I own in Providence. Sheba, whom I'd worked with prior to this year, does a good job. However, this year things went south: I got an invoice for their services April 1, paid it April 6, and a week later, they started hassling me for the check. I know it was sent-- I use online bill pay, and sent them a printout to prove it -- but apparently they didn't receive it. Not even three weeks after the invoice was dated, Sheba put her boss, Karen Seiler, on to me, who wrote a series of condescending and rude emails, refusing to take any responsibility for the fact that the check was mislaid, or to share in the pain of the $25 stop payment fee, and demanding I pay immediately even though it was inside the usual 30-day billing period. As a working professional, and a pretty easy going person, it had been a long time since someone had talked to me like I was a moron, or worse, a dishonest moron -- let alone someone with whom I'd enjoyed a good working relationship for years. Everyone I told about this had the same reaction: The business must be in financial trouble. I have no idea if that's true, but if so, it's another reason -- along with not wanting to be gratuitously insulted -- not to trust them with your business. I certainly won't be.

We were both unfamiliar with the process of selling a home. From day one, John made himself readily available and kindly explained every part of the process to my mother, always making sure she understood each detail. His knowledge and expertise goes far and above what we expected. His constant communication never left us guessing - we felt very involved in every part of the process. I was caring for my mother on my own and he did everything in his power to ease the burden of selling her property. John knew I had great anxiety over our difficult situation and would always tell me not to worry. He always found a resolution to every bump in the road- and now I am finally worry free! John made us feel cared for and safe. We cannot thank him enough for his hard work. He helped us find a deal that we never could've imagined and changed our life for the better!

We began our own home search this year and from the beginning John and his team were immensely helpful. As total novices, John promptly and knowledgeably answered all our questions at every stage of the process. He identified several amazing homes and walked us through the process of preparing offers that were both attractive to sellers and within our means. In only a few short months we found our dream home and our offer was accepted! John's great relationships with other professionals in the area allowed us to efficiently work with an incredible team to finalize the closing on an expeditated timeline. Even after we received the keys, John graciously made himself available to answer additional questions and provide other guidance as we got settled in and finalized details and records with the City. As first time homebuyers in this housing market, we could have been easily overwhelmed, overextended our finances, and still be looking for a home. With John's assistance, none of these things occurred. What we thought would be the daunting prospect of homeownership was a virtually seamless process and we're thrilled with the final result. We recommend Dolan O'Rourke to anyone we know looking to buy or sell a home.
