We continually receive unsolicited mailings from CJ Moss in Seekonk, MA offering to purchase our…read moreproperty for at least $100,000 less than its actual value. As experienced property owners, we are far from novice homeowners. We own multiple homes and invest significant time and resources to keep them updated and maintained to modern standards. These solicitations are insulting for two reasons. First, they present a sight-unseen offer that is dramatically below market value. Second, they demonstrate a lack of even the most basic due diligence. The property deed is held jointly by two owners, yet the mailing was addressed only to the male owner. Receiving a lowball offer is offensive enough; receiving one that ignores the legal ownership of the property is even more discourteous. The combination of an inadequately researched solicitation and a substantially undervalued offer reflects poorly on the sender and suggests little regard for the homeowners being contacted.

Last week/weekend I was in touch with an agent by the name of Ryan Hazinakis with Keller Williams. Mind you all I did was sent an email with an interest to an open house. He reached out to me and asked if he could send me via email other listings. I agreed. A few days later he called and I missed the call. Called him right back.. I'm pretty sure he gave me about 3 min of his time and rushed off the phone. Mind you all he did was send a list of homes via email. Super quick. I said I was interested in buying two different homes. Then I told him what I was looking for in each home. Again he only forwarded me the same email with a list of homes. Then we finally decided to meet to see 3 houses. Well he changed the start time 4 different times. I told him I had already made arrangements with work because I was coming from Boston and it would take about an hour and 40 min. I was ok with the first and second time he changed the time. But the third was my breaking point. All he did was answer one call from me for about 3 min and sent emails. I send him a text and said thank you for everything but I think I'm going in a different direction. But again thank you. He replies all mad saying how hard he worked on making all of this happen for me. I'm sorry sending the exact email 3 times and one call to me and a few to the other realtors because none of the houses I liked. Was his listings. Hmmm... thank good. Well this is his reply. I hope Keller - Williams have a sit down with this guy.

I would strongly caution anyone considering working with Craig Martin…read more My experience with Craig was extremely concerning. After I told him multiple times to stop contacting me, he continued to bombard me with unwanted messages. His communications were insulting and antagonistic. When I addressed the behavior, he indicated that he did not see an issue with what he was doing. From the beginning, I made it clear that I was only interested in networking. Despite that, Craig repeatedly pushed for direct communication and continued asking for my phone number after I had made my intentions clear. I found this behavior unnecessarily pushy and disrespectful of the boundaries I had communicated. What I found particularly concerning was that when I told him I intended to report his conduct, he stated that he did not care because, according to him, his broker was on the board. I found that response extremely inappropriate and, in the context of our interactions, it came across to me as an attempt to intimidate me or make me feel that reporting his conduct would not matter. Regardless of whether that statement was intended that way, I found it concerning that this was his response when I expressed that I was considering reporting the situation. I also believe that licensed professionals represent not only themselves, but also the profession and business they are licensed to operate under. In my opinion, professionalism and respectful communication should matter whether someone is actively conducting business or simply interacting with someone outside of a transaction. A real estate professional should communicate with people respectfully and professionally regardless of whether the person is a client or not. This review reflects my personal experience and the communications I received from him.

Where should I start? My daughter made an appointment with them to see one of their properties…read morewith several days advance notice. When asked to make it for a different day, she told them she couldn't because I would be driving in from out of state (3 hours each way) to see it with her. Less than an hour before the scheduled appointment, they called and cancelled the showing because they suddenly had compliance training. We switched realtors given the unprofessional manner in which we had been inconvenienced. We submitted an offer for the property along with a list of questions. My realtor's repeated phone calls were never returned. Not believing that several days worth of calls had never been returned, I tried reaching them. Despite multiple attempts, I could never get past their answering service and never received a return phone call either. We never received a single response to any of our questions or communications. They claimed to know nothing about damage to the property, including mold, that was visible to anyone who walked into it. So either they never entered the property, or just outright lied. This despite the fact that even in foreclosures, realtors are legally required to disclose the presence of mold. They couldn't even be bothered reading their own contract, insisting we were responsible for thousands of dollars in unpaid assessments from the previous owner despite the fact the contract contained language to the contrary. Dealing with these people was hands down the worst real estate experience I have ever had in the dozen purchase and sales I have been involved in during my lifetime. They are NOT real estate professionals, they are listing agents and nothing more. Mr. Ponte is too busy with all of his other commitments, political and other business endeavors, to be a dedicated real estate professional and to run a real estate agency in a professional manner.
