You address concerns, like miscellaneous fees being added without a legal 30 day notice, or suggesting another day to allow them access to your apartment and she holds the law/agreement and threatens to mark your account with a violation or eviction even when you are a good-standing, paid-on-time tenant. We moved out on the December 20th and did not receive our security deposit. On January 17th I emailed to ask the date of when it was cut and sent out , also an explanation for a move out fee. She refused to give me a date, stated it was sent within the lawful 20days, and told me to contact the 3rd party utility service company for explanation. This was after serval unanswered and blocked emails. I will state I called her out on her attitude and she stated she was uncomfortable talking to me further. She provoked my response to get out of further lying to me and to incriminate herself/company. She is a toxic person that uses gaslighting and manipulation to intimidate you and undermine your concerns of their actual violations. I received the check today, which was dated and postmarked January 17th. So it wasn't sent within the 20days. Also the great reviews on google and company website were generated by ReNew for a contest to win a tablet.... Go visit the recycling area from Saturday through Wednesday and it will convey the slumlord runnings of this company. Charging $5 pest control fee when trash is strewn around the grounds should be paid by ReNew not residents that properly dispose their refuge. Don't take the bottom aww

It's your typical apartment complex run by a property management company. Lived there two years but…read morehad to move because the rent kept going up. Property management was easy to deal with but then again was never late on rent and only had to have maintenance come to the apartment once. The walls are thin so be ready to hear everything all your neighbors are doing on. Doesn't matter if they are across the hall, right next to you, or live above you; you'll hear them like they are screaming in your living room. Also, be prepared for your neighbors to just buzz anyone in without checking to see who it is, even though property management had a no soliciting policy and sign always got door to door sales people peddling a scam. Plus while I was there, there was a home invasion, the perps got in because they rung each apartment in the building until someone buzzed them in without checking. Not the managements fault they put the security measure in place and people are just too lazy to use it properly. Get a PO box if you have mail larger than an envelope coming to you. Postman will leave anything that doesn't fit in the tiny mailboxes out in the lobby, had a few packages stolen from the lobby and from my front door, until I got my PO set up. Again, not managements problem not like they can tell a thief from a credit check. Though if asked office staff will hold packages at the office for you until you pick them up which they don't have to do but is helpful. Plenty of washers and dryers to use except when someone decides to hog them all for the day, usually someone with their whole family and extended family crammed into a 3 bedroom apartment. When I was there management would put a stop to it, if something was said but there was a laundry mat down the street and was cheaper to use. Really just your typical apartment living rants but enough to mention. When I moved out got all my security deposit back, which was great. All in all the staff was helpful and nice, probably would have stayed if the rent hadn't kept going up.

The Pointe at Kingston apartments and community are beautiful; I don't have any complaints about…read morethat. Our complaint is with the rental staff. We sold our house 4 years ago and stayed in Quincy in an apartment complex and decided it was time to move out of Quincy. The rental agent was very nice and took us to look at many apartments. We had never had an issue with paying a much higher rent, but we had to keep supplying information to verify that our monthly income was 3x the amount of the apartment. Because we didn't use one of the "big banks", we had to have our financials sent to us from the bank, employers, etc. and we would forward this information to the rental office. It would take 3-4 days to hear back saying they couldn't open the attachment. This took us 1 month and at the end we were told we didn't meet the monthly amount. We were in a time crunch, my husband asked what the criteria was that they used and once he had it, he found that they did not include all of our financial information. We called the rental staff several times and we left messages for a manager to call us back, but no phone calls were returned. It was all very frustrating. We were able to find a place that we love and are very happy. Funny thing is, we surpassed 3x the monthly income requirement for a similarly priced apartment.

However, this year things went south: I got an invoice for their services April 1, paid it April 6, and a week later, they started hassling me for the check. I know it was sent-- I use online bill pay, and sent them a printout to prove it -- but apparently they didn't receive it. Not even three weeks after the invoice was dated, Sheba put her boss, Karen Seiler, on to me, who wrote a series of condescending and rude emails, refusing to take any responsibility for the fact that the check was mislaid, or to share in the pain of the $25 stop payment fee, and demanding I pay immediately even though it was inside the usual 30-day billing period. As a working professional, and a pretty easy going person, it had been a long time since someone had talked to me like I was a moron, or worse, a dishonest moron -- let alone someone with whom I'd enjoyed a good working relationship for years. Everyone I told about this had the same reaction: The business must be in financial trouble. I have no idea if that's true, but if so, it's another reason -- along with not wanting to be gratuitously insulted -- not to trust them with your business. I certainly won't be.
