Walking in, you see an ice cream counter with plenty of different ice cream flavors. They allow you to sample some of the flavors, and my friends did that, but once I saw the "S'more to Love" flavor of ice cream, I just had to order it. Like any other ice cream shoppe, this one offers different types of cones. They have waffle, sugar, and dipped cones, as well as bowls and waffle bowls. There are plenty of toppings you can choose from, too! For those who are not fans of traditional ice cream, the shoppe has plenty of other menu options: shakes, malts, coffee, popcorn, sundaes, chillers, cotton candy, cannolis, tiramisu, edible cookie dough, and rootbeer floats. Only some ice cream places offer those things, so I like that this place has unique options. When we arrived, they were closing in about 30 minutes; however, the two teenage workers didn't seem to mind and allowed us to take our time with choosing our flavors. They also didn't kick us out as the time got closer to closing time, but we felt bad and left before that anyway. Price-wise, it's comparable to other places: $3.99 for a kids' scoop, $4.99 for one scoop, $6.49 for two scoops, and $7.99 for three scoops. A plain waffle bowl or cone is $1 extra, specialty waffle cones that are dipped and have peanuts are $1.75 extra, and chocolate-dipped waffle cones are $1.50 extra. Cake cones are not extra. Overall, I would definitely come back here, and my friends agreed that they would, too. The ice cream is fresh and delicious, they have many unique options, the service is friendly and quick, and they have a cute seating area.

There's some quite unusual flavors so you can come back a few times. Coming here the first time it was kind of confusing. It's located on one side of the entrance. There's a bit of a passage to get through. Has mostly gelatos. There's also a few sorbets at times. It's about $5 a scoop, but there's much more than just bowls and cones. They make milkshakes and even have hot and iced coffee including Turkish. Crepes are one of the main items. These are filled with chocolate, Nutella, or basically whatever. Also they have dip sticks, which is fruit on skewers dipped in chocolate. They also make lava cake and other big items. Got a lot of sweet stuff to both drink and eat. It's located on Douglas close to Highland. There's a lot of more unusual flavors, along with more common ones, so it has a pretty big variety.

I kinda don't know the difference as my shake had candy in it (and maybe some milk and some soft serve--while I think my daughters was all ice cream--but I'm guessing because I would have thought the cyclone would have candy while the milkshake would be all ice cream and milk...but no bother while I'm guessing my daughters had only ice cream (I was chatting with another family we met while waiting in the long line so I didn't watch too closely) but boy when I got the ice cream it was totally worth it. I got the peanut butter cup (which had some amazing on chocolate ice cream) and my daughter got the snickers...those seem pretty standard, but they weren't standard at all...they put a very well packed small bit of ice cream on top of the shake/cyclone that really looks like raw cookie dough....i don't have a picture (there may be some in yelp) but this super packed, small ice cream was the piece that turned this up a notch....it just looked so darn appealing and it was great. The owner was super jive, saying they've been open about a year (and they had a big line after me too, so that was good to see) Overall while they had maybe a dozen different ice creams (they all seemed like high quality ice cream--and I think they have a few different flavored soft serves too which is intriguing for next time..... The positives- the ice cream was great and it LOOKED incredible...and that's more than half the battle. Everyone's items looked great too which really had me hungry when our ice cream was made -- and it was worth the wait. The negatives - the menu is a wee bit confusing...basically they need a menu as the light wall isn't very clear what things are....i know you can customize things but it's hard to tell what all the customizations were -- and they had several other menu items that I wasn't exactly sure what they might be. They also had a cool looking cotton candy maker right by the check out register but it wasn't marked as a cotton candy maker and I didn't notice any menu item that used cotton candy (and we were in line a long time). I wasmt alone in this confusion as the nice couple (who were ordering with their kids) ahead of me were also a bit confused....and obviously we had to wait a bit longer than expected (which while the store was full it wasn't exactly crazy crowded like I image it would be in the middle of summer). But trust me the good far outweighed the bad...it was worth the wait. My suggestions: 1. Have a handout/ paper menu that is much more descriptive (especially here where the ice cream is not facing the I Entrance so it's hard to know in advance what ice creams they have-- and also because they seem to have some more unique than standard ice cream shop items but I kinda didn't know what they were.::: They also could have a smaller option (the Medium milk shake is pretty large and the Small Cyclone is more like a Medium elsewhere. I know many would applaud this, but I kinda like less is more with ice cream (as after so much it doesn't have that same appeal even it it tastes good :) ) My suggestions -- beyond the above:..: Play into the Scooby Doo thing legally by having things like 'The Creeper' which would be maybe a mint chocolate chip (which they didn't have bet) and the Mystery Machine or Scoopy Snack etc. just play on the name without having Scooby Doo... My wife is GF, so I picked out my own treats and limited the selection to what I knew I could eat sooner than later. The cashier rang me up & my 3 items added up to less than $3 so I gladly handed over the cash--in my old neighborhood you'd be lucky to find 3 baked goods for less than $5. Good deal right there. After impatiently making the car trip back home, I poured a cup of coffee, snapped a picture of my concha, and dove in. It was fluffy, a little crunchy on the outside, and perfectly sweet. The person who took the order understood exactly what we were asking for, so we had no reason to expect anything different. Unfortunately, what we received was one of the most hideous cakes I have ever seen. This was for my niece's birthday celebration, not a joke, and we were extremely disappointed when we saw the cake. To make matters worse, instead of writing "Feliz Cumpleaños," the cake said "Feliz Gumpleanos." That is completely unacceptable, especially for something that was specifically ordered for a child's birthday. We paid for a cake that was supposed to make my niece feel special, and instead we were embarrassed and disappointed with what we received. If you are taking custom cake orders, you should make sure the design and wording match what the customer requested. This was not what we ordered, and it was certainly not worth the money we paid.
