I really enjoy Cherry Farm, even though I have called it Cherry Hill for the longest time. The ice cream here is really good and they always seem to have an interesting selection of special flavors depending on the season. Lately my go to order is a small peanut butter cup squealer with extra peanut butter cups, and it sure hits the spot. I also tend to get the black raspberry with chocolate sprinkles. The people working behind the counter are usually really nice and super quick with getting the ice cream. Even though they still have winter hours right now, i wish they were open later for when I really need some late night ice cream. read more

Great ice cream and service is very good so, as others have said, lines move quickly. I'm a big fan of their Snyder pretzel cones, which are delicious with a sweeter flavor of ice cream. Cherry Farm Creamery is the only ice cream place I can find on the North Shore that offers those, and it is well worth the trip to get one! read more

I learned of this ice cream joint from Yelp reviews and decided to hit it up after a matinee at the North Shore Music Theater. Ah. May. Zing. The peppermint stick was to die for. My daughter found a whole Oreo in her cookies and cream! Proof positive that the ice cream is home made! Others in our group got Cherry Vanilla and Mint Chocolate Chip. All fantastic. Recently found this hidden gem after receiving a gift certificate there. I live fairly close to Richardson's and have always gone there for all of my ice cream needs. Still love it there but I have to say that Cherry Farm out does their ice cream...hands down. I haven't yet been to their driving range but plan on heading back soon since I will use any excuse to get their ice cream again and again. I should probably add that I have tried their sugar free chocolate & coffee(tasted like regular ice cream), their soft serve vanilla yogurt (so creamy and delicious) and their chocolate regular hard yogurt ( I would prefer to stay with a reg, sugar free or soft serve yogurt). My husband and I (randomly enough, since we, uh, don't golf) love going to the driving range here; the landscape is really pretty at night, it's relatively quiet and they have ice cream! If I had one complaint, it's that I wish they served "regular" food like hot dogs, chicken fingers, etc. as sometimes I just don't want sweet stuff. However, if you're looking for a cute date night or a place to take the kids, this is a good place to try. read more

Stopped by today en route to Costo with a friend and we each ordered a baby (one scoop, $3.25) in a cup with a cone. I had the coffee heath bar and the coffee base was flavorful but very skimpy on heath bar pieces. My friend opted for the black cherry chocolate chip (a special) and was very pleased with the chunks of cherry but the base was somewhat bland. Cones were very fresh and crispy. read more

Best ice cream in the area in my honest opinion. Mocha chip is definitely my favorite. This little shack is without a doubt a mega hit during the summer time! The value of what you get in any size cup is unbeatable. A baby size cup is actually more of something between small to medium size but enough to suffice and satisfy one's sweet tooth craving. My only complaint is that I wished there was a better seating option. A few picnic benches doesn't quite cut it when it gets busy during warmer seasons. Perhaps extending the building would be useful in accommodating patrons so it would be more comfortable. I think they should convert their stand into a hangout type of place. But what the heck, as long as I'm in town, I'm cheating on the two men I have loved all my life, Ben and Jerry. Their ice cream is the best around! They also have plenty of places to sit and enjoy it. Sometimes it can be busy, but there is plenty of parking and the line tends to move quickly. The only downside is the bugs in the area; tons of mosquitoes and you can't help but meet a few while you're waiting in line or enjoying your ice cream. Always open, good sized servings. The last couple of times I went I tried the chocolate low fat ice creams and was really disappointed. Probably not their fault as what-the-heck am I doing ordering low fat when I'm out for an ice cream?!? PS the golfers at the driving range are fun to watch. read more

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but the servings of ice cream here are almost too much. I got a "baby" and it had to be at least two scoops of ice cream after it was aggressively packed in the dish by the server. Not a bad problem to have with a place. One of the best places for ice cream on the North Shore. The prices are higher than Richardson's, but the flavor is so much better. That said, be careful with the frozen yogurt. I tried the Kahlua one & it was so bad I threw it away. I purchased the ice cream version & it was fantastic (hence the docked star). Every flavor of real ice cream I have tried has been fantastic. Richardson's has spoiled me with their frozen yogurt (actually better than their ice cream) so I thought other places would be similarly impressive (not the case here). read more

Beautiful frozen cream. I love how they offer many flavors of soft serve. I think some more outdoor seating could be beneficial but other than that a great place to go on a first date or celebrate your great uncles 80th. LOVE this place!!! I have been going to Cherry Hill for years! I used too take the kids that I babysat for and now i take my own children. Fun family friendly environment and GREAT tasting ice cream and frozen yogurt!! Extremely friendly staff! Always split the baby size into two cups for my petite 3 yr old twin daughters. You can sit at the picnic tables on the side or go out back and watch the golfers. I cannot think of one negative about this amazing place read more

After enjoying the ice cream at Cherry Farm Creamery for a while, I decided to try using them for a party I was planning for students at Marian Court College. It was a great experience and the staff are friendly and competent. The ice cream is, of course, delicious and the students enjoyed the "make your own sundae" party. They helped me with the amount and brought everything so I didn't have to worry about running out of cups, plates, spoons, etc. I highly recommend them if you are planning an ice cream party...or just want a new ice cream place to try on the north shore! read more
